Small little hole in the wall a few blocks from our hotel. We were craving some desi khana after enjoying all the lovely pastas and steaks Rome and Florence had to offer. Saw this place on Yelp and had all 5 star reviews so checked it out. Food: excellent! We had Chana daal and Aloo baingan. Aloo baingan were like delicious home cooked fare. Daal was great too. And w freshly made tandoori roti! Wah! Our kids loved their chicken gyro which was as good as any you would have in Lahore. Ambience: Don't expect anything fancy or cafe like. This place is like a tiny dhaba. You can eat there but we brought it back and ate in the comfort of our hotel room. Service: Mr Omar ( originally from Sargodha) who served us and appeared to be the proprietor, was very pleasant, efficient and ever smiling despite the stifling heat he was working in. Really good Halal pakistani resturant in little florence. Great friendly gentlemen. We were in the city for 24 hours, but had to make two trips of this place. Padina kebab (shawarma) was great. As was the aloo keema with naan we tried, and biryani was good too. But more of pulao biryani. But still good taste. Everything else looked great. And the chai (tea) was delish!!! This place is within 10 mins of walking distance from the train station in Firenze SMN. What can I say,?absolutely amazing food. We ordered a mixed vege plate, chicken biryani, roti, seekh kebob and fried fish. Everything was just delicious. My favs were Karaylay(never had such delicious karalay ever) fish was mouthwatering and reminded me of Pakistan. We finished off the entire meal ending with delicious chai.
