The owner is from Punjab and this restaurant has been open since '17. He was eager to greet me in English, probably because he saw a fellow desi and assumed, lol! Because with the next couple that walked in right after me, he had no issues speaking in Italian with them! To start, I got some pappadums and chutneys on the house. For my meal, I ordered onion kulcha (flat bread with diced onion) and veg kebab. The food was very filling, although on the dry side, so it helped to have the chutney around. A small fast-food type setup of international variety serving up kebab & rice, Vegetable Biryani, Shawarma, curry (and obligatory pizza, hot dog, and hamburger). I went for a Chicken Shawarma Sandwich, fries, and coke for 8 euros. It was well worth it: delicious, and filled a hole. Really nice gent working the joint, clean tables -- happy I stopped here after my picture-taking filled visit to Tower of Pisa and on the way to Florence.
