This lady is a germ. An initially nice pleasant and humorous person - but an unfortunate greedy, greesy dirty slimeball of a germ. If only we could go back and do it over again, i would make sure to read reviews prior to jumping in to the low cost unit with a cool payment kiosk that has the 24 hour access perk! It turned out to be the highest cost and a completely unexpected nightmare waste of my time wrought by the crazy lady that treats her employees like they are dirt on my shoe (not even her own shoe) yelling scornful demands at them over the phone - Disgusting! Distasteful! Pathetic! Try Carolina for Security, or if its cheap you want then go up to Birch Bay. Heck get a Container there then you have cheap and secure. But i can attest that the words this un-remarkable business owner writes to try and portray her bad reviewers as "not nice and friendly tennants" and "liars", well lets just say after finially making it out of that hell-hole, i believe that 9 out of 10 of them if not 100% are telling pretty accurate stories. I mean just look In the one issue some ppl had with the snow, the lady writes herself that the drifts were only natural snow drifts against peoples doors so why blame her for not cleaning them? But then she posts a picture boasting the text of "look at this great service we did by cleaning snow drifts infront of doors" showing the 1 single space all tidy - Yet in that same picture in the far background you see endless drifts packed doors - And then you see the customer that posts the picture of the big long stretch of spaces with obvious plow packed sludge against them! This is a POS woman that runs a POS business with a good idea of an outdoor rental/payment kiosk and a falsified 24 hour access facility. That lady doesnt need medication, she needs a good ole fashion redneck butt spanking. There are things that you probably havent even heard of or expect to hear of that can happen here and that very likely will not go to your liking or to your financial favor by trusting this place just because it has a no-haggle kiosk and a convenient anytime access policy. The Kiosk (when its not busted up) is a haggle-from-hell-warmed-over, and the access policy is a twisted temporary-only-as-she-sees-fitting for-you marketing ploy. My sister came up from Seattle and on short notice, offered to help me remove my furniture from this storage place on short notice. I rented from them for 2 years 10 months and left the unit clean with no damage, as well as, offered to pay the prorated amount due for the 5 days of July I rented. I understand contracts, how they work and what it means when we agree to them however, I've also had people work with me regarding a specific aspects of that contract in order to make a fair and amicable resolution based on the circumstances. Be very clear; this place make is not a place where this happens. They do not make allowances for late fees, even if you are initially confused about when and how to pay in the first month. They do not make allowances for vacating a unit either and you will be charged your full fee, even if you have help in a short notice situation. They do not flex. They do not care. They are polite. But they will not flex or help you, even if you ask. They have the power to help, but they won't. Bad business. Bad customer service. Bad review. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about Pak-A-Nut Storage. It is a very secure facility with real people viewing the camera output real time. I was notified by phone when there was a person who had jumped over a fence and was looking around the area. She called me and said that she couldn't tell if my vehicle was tampered with, but that I should come and check it out. She had already reported the incident to the police. Also, the very kind lady phoned me another time when she noticed that my vehicle registration tabs were not up to date! Which they were. Which means the folks at this facility really monitor the videos, the people in and out of the gates, and they do a close up of the vehicles stored here. Excellent place! read more

Extremely disappointed with the customer service and billing policies at Pak-A-Nut. When my credit card (set up with autopay) expiration date changed, the first notice I received was a late fee of $20 and a flat refusal to work with me to mitigate that. When I requested details on the lease agreement they were unable to provide those in a timely manner (I'm still waiting two days later), but still threatened another $20 late fee if not paid by mid-month. I'm sure their policies are legal (the tenant is responsible for the details in the autopay system), but the end result seems draconian and predatory. read more

Great storage facility. They do a nice job with trying to stay clean, multiple times I've been there have I seen a street sweeper go through. I like the self serve kiosk and if I end up needing to call management they are nice and easy to deal with. Great rates and very secure with plenty of cameras and nice fencing. Pak-A-Nut is a safe and secure storage complex. I once left my door open and they called and emailed me to let me know. They keep a sharp eye on the facility. Yes, it's more expensive, but it is well lit, secure and has 24 hour access. read more
