This was my second time doing an escape room but first time with Save Milwaukee. What I liked about…read moreSave Milwaukee is that they give you a scenario which seems to create more urgency and also a reason (aside from just getting out of the room) to crack the codes. There were 6 of us total celebrating a friend's birthday. As soon as we entered the room we set about our task. We received periodic updates to the scenario and I won't say much more as to not spoil the game for others. We got out with ten seconds to spare!! I'm 2 for 2 on getting out of escape rooms. Only odd thing was they suggested we create agent names and we wrote them on our sheets but they never came to play. Perhaps that was up to us to embrace more. They have two rooms and I'm looking forward to trying out the 2nd room!

I'm back home for the holidays and was excited to introduce a group of Milwaukee friends to my new obsession. I gotta say, this room was a very pleasant surprise. While the look of the room was a little bland, the puzzles were for the most part excellent. It's rare I run into a puzzle that's totally new to me, and this room had two memorable standouts. Great use of technology, including puzzles that require physical teamwork (the best kind). The owner/operator was a friendly, quirky gentleman who enthusiastically brought us into the story of the room. We had a chance to chat with him afterwards and his next room, The Election, sounds fantastic - wish I was going to be around when it opens! My only gripe about this place was that we found it too easy - we broke the record and escaped in about 25 minutes. That was probably due to having a couple veterans on the team. If this is one of your first rooms (and seeing as I've only found 6 in Milwaukee, it probably is!), I absolutely recommend it. Good times!

He signed us up for a time on a Friday night and it was completely packed. We got there early to grab a drink and scope out the props for our hole. They have a full bar and so many fun and random props to create your hole. It's a lot of fun to see the creative side of everyone. You have around an hour to design your hole and another hour then to play all of the other holes. My one tidbit on this was I think we could have used a little less time to design and more to play the holes, because we weren't able to finish all of them. Overall, I would definitely come back here. I think I would recommend not to have too large of a group, because that's what makes it take longer for each hole.

The spread was laughable for the price paid. The pizza was probably the best value. What sucks the most is that they take everything away after an hour and a half, even the "safe to leave out" things like pretzels. You can't leave food out that we paid for, especially if it's not a health concern? Maybe provide boxes so people could take things home? Wasteful and disappointing. The pizza and garlic bread got the best reviews. Cheese and veggie tray were what you'd expect. The staff behind the bar were friendly and quick to help, but I wasn't a fan of the demo provider. Spoke quietly and was upset that the group couldn't hear him though it was pretty full in the event space with another party who was already underway. The idea was unique enough but you'll need extra time to set up the courses. Overall, not impressed with this venue. Recommend any other Bars and Rec instead.

The ambiance is super cute with multiple lounge areas around the available games, which also include axe throwing. On a Saturday evening, it was definitely hopping but not too crowded which was nice! Service was friendly and fast - shout-out to Macy, who helped us set up shuffleboard and explained the game. She checked in on us multiple times during our visit - thank you! NorthSouth would be great for a date night or a group outing. They are also NA friendly which is great if you're visiting with family. Would highly recommend checking them out, especially if you're looking for a night out but an activity aside from just drinks!

The ambiance/vibe is great, especially when they can have the large garage doors open. The place is very clean, the equipment isn't shabby, and they have a large bar and offer minimal snacks. They also had very friendly service, and the pricing for 1.5 hours of deck shuffleboard per person was very reasonable. We visited in the early afternoon and were newbies playing deck shuffleboard. We received a quick how-to and then we were left to have fun. We had a great time playing and would return to play again. They have six deck shuffleboard lanes, and they take reservations. They also have several axe-throwing stations. Side note, they are a cashless establishment. We had a great time and would return. Highly recommend NorthSouth Club!

It was very easy to do using their online portal and got the tickets for a specific date night with me, my husband and two other couples. The manager was very welcoming, friendly, and did a great job explaining all the ins and outs of the escape room, especially for one of us who would never done an escape room before. Since we knew the theme ahead of time, our room had an 80s theme. We all dressed up in 80s themed attire too, which added an extra fun element to it and gave us a lot of fun and cool pictures. The escape room was so clever the time definitely feels like it goes by really fast and even when you think that you have 45 minutes or an hour in reality, it goes by in a blink of an eye. Only one of our members got scolded for trying to touch something a little too much regarding the stuff that's actually adhered to the wall (lol). Don't wanna give away any spoilers, but there was a lot of really cool elements in that specific room and the theme fit together really nicely! With all of the interesting things we had to find discover, get keys, codes, locks, and phone numbers! Maybe even a little old-school video game play. Would definitely come back again!
