Front entrance. - The photo captures the front exterior of a business with a sign that reads 'BREAKOUT' in red neon letters on a black rectangular background. The sign is mounted above a black awning, which has some visible dirt or spots. The building's facade is made of beige bricks, and a glass door with a small sign indicating '4125 Suite F (front)' is visible below the sign. The sky above is overcast.

Great staff. Fun games. The games are kind of hard, but still fun. Best for big groups.

Bomb Squad - Five women stand together in front of a red wall with the words 'BREAKOUT Milwaukee' displayed prominently. They are holding signs that indicate they have completed an escape room challenge, including a sign with the time '9:31' and others celebrating a birthday and a 'Bomb Squad' theme. The women are smiling and appear to be celebrating their achievement at the escape room facility.

We made it out...we'll barely, but it was a ton of fun! The game master helped with clues and made it fun

Three women stand side by side in front of a red wall with the word 'BREAKOUT' in large white letters, at Breakout Games in Milwaukee. They are holding signs that say 'Mystery Mansion' and 'We Broke Out Happy Birthday.' The women are smiling and dressed in casual, stylish clothing, with two wearing dresses and one in a skirt and top. The setting appears to be an indoor entertainment venue for escape room activities.

My friends and I had an extremely fun experience our first time here! This escape room was definitely a memorable one. We chose Mystery Mansion, which was challenging enough but not too difficult either. As others said, they allow for unlimited hints, so you can determine how much you want to challenge yourself. Without giving away anything, this particular game has some scare factors in it too, so added bonus. The other thing I appreciated is that when you sign up for a game, they keep the room private to you and your party. Our game master, Faith, was more than awesome running our game and shared in our excitement and enthusiasm. Definitely will return to try another escape room.

We had a great time at Breakout Milwaukee!

Great fun! We came here with a Groupon to try it out and we really had a great time! This was my first visit to an escape room place and we really didn't know what to expect, it was quite a challenge! The staff was super friendly and accommodating and gave us hints and tips as needed. While they allow groups up to 8, I think that would be too many to actually focus on the task at hand. This is a great way to get out of the house in the winter months and do something that's out of the norm!

My group did the kidnapping room and it was a tough one. There is a lot of locks to figure out. A problem I had was the lack of direction in finding the lock combination orders. I feel like maybe there could be more clarity? But our guide Katie was awesome! She gave us clues that weren't too much or too little. Would love to try the other rooms next time I'm back in town.

Enjoyed our time in our breakout room. Loved our queen Luna she gave great clues. Recommend:)

So, I broke out. Well, in real life at least. This was my first time doing an 'escape room' and I was kind of nervous going into it. I wouldn't say I have a bad case of claustrophobia and can manage it well. But sometimes it sneaks up on me when I least expect it and I get thrown into a mini panic mode. So that's what really prevented me from doing them. However, Breakout dispels this with letting me know right away that the door is always unlocked in case you need it. It's also good to know there is a game-master or someone that's watching. Maybe that's how it is everywhere, but I was really glad to learn this. Putting the anxiety fears to rest, this was a blast! We did one of the hardest rooms, the kidnapping room. I won't give out any details because you ought to try it yourself! It's great for team bonding exercises or really putting your friendship with your close friends to the test. Takes a lot of cohesion to conquer the room and get out in time (you have an hour). FYI -- you can reserve a room for just you and your group. Or, there is the chance you'll work with other groups as well. Our group of 4 was the only group in the room, but I wouldn't have actually minded working with strangers. It's a cool social experiment! All in all, we got close (had 1 clue left before running out of time), but if we worked together a bit better, I think we would have beaten it. So my advice -- remain calm, work together and have fun!

Six women stand together in front of a red wall with the word 'BREAKOUT' displayed prominently. They are holding signs, one with the time '5:59' and another with the logo 'The Kidnapping.' The setting appears to be an escape room venue, and the photo captures a group celebrating or commemorating their experience. The image is framed with a black border and a small graphic of a bomb in the lower right corner.

This was the third escape room I've done (each at a different location) and although my group and I had a great time, I can't say that it was the best. My group of seven attempted The Kidnapping and with a couple hints we managed to get out in about 57 minutes. Jack was our game manager and he did a great job giving hints that didn't give out too much information and he definitely added to the excitement of the experience. Overall, I think the clues were pretty clever and engaging, but there was definitely a pattern of repetition that emerged. For most of the escape you are just finding keys or codes that unlock chests, which in turn reveal more chests and more keys, and so on and so forth. This was really my only major qualm with this escape room though. I just wish there would've been more interactive methods of escaping the room that went beyond keys, codes and chests. For example, midway through a different escape room that I've done in the past there was a trap door that was revealed that led to a whole separate room to escape out of, and The Kidnapping was just missing that wow factor. Also, it says in the description of The Kidnapping that you begin the escape room blindfolded and handcuffed, but they did not blindfold us, which was sort of disappointing. I'm giving this place four stars because my particular group had a really fun time and our game manager was great, but if you are really into escape rooms, I wouldn't recommend this one.

The guy working there was not at all enthused or pleasant to work with. He barely greeted us, wasn't in the spirit. Also, the video intro that we were asked to observe before our time started very clearly stated that clues would not be used twice, and yet one of the puzzles was only solvable by reusing a clue. When we pointed this out to the guy after, he denied it repeatedly. He refused to acknowledge the error, despite all 6 of us being confident it was in the video. The idea for the room was cool, but there were some executional flaws. And it ended very abruptly on our escape. It didn't feel like there was any closure. Finally, when we escaped our room, the staff made no attempt to come get us in a timely manner. When he did finally come get us, he said "that's it. Thanks guys" and offered us no opportunity to take a photo with the props, didn't tell us our final time, or invite us to come back again. As an escape room aficionado, I expect a higher caliber of service and immersion than my friends and I received during this visit. Will not be returning.

We arrived early (as you normally do for escape rooms) and he was so flustered that he "wasn't even open yet". Not sure what he was doing but he did not bring us back to the room until our exact minute of our start time. No one else was even there. We did not escape our room, and this is the first escape room where I have not been told how to exit the room or how close we were to exiting the room. All he said was "if you want to know how to escape then you will have to come back and try again". Very unsatisfying. Obviously would not pay money again to go and complete the exact same escape room knowing all the clues that we were able to figure out during our time in there. Will not be returning and would not recommend.

They are pricey compared to cheap chocolate ones, but everything in the boxes is high quality, local stuff. I ordered the Michigan one, and so far have enjoyed a variety of candy, coffee, nuts, and dried fruit, and the sizes of the items are decent. It's a big box, but it doesn't need to be refrigerated, and if there's anything you don't want to keep for yourself, they'd make great stocking stuffers.

The desserts were minimal and not what we expected - especially since we've been on the bakery tour by the same company and absolutely loved it. Based on that experience, we expected much more. Two of the four "desserts" were a pre-packaged cookie and chocolate, which didn't feel festive or special for a holiday-themed tour. Another thing not clearly mentioned is that the tour includes a lot of group sing-alongs. While that may be fun for some, it felt like filler after the first few songs and went on longer than necessary. Becca was very patient and kind with the children on the tour, which we appreciated. However, the presentation itself could have been more polished - there were several moments where information was forgotten or counting had to be redone, which made the tour feel a bit disorganized. Overall, the tour could easily be condensed to about two hours and would need to be priced lower to better match the quality and quantity of desserts. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't live up to expectations given the cost and past experiences with this company.
