I went for the more expensive SW Paint which was well worth it, even with the extra costs E&A were very competitive on price. I got Mario and his team so I can only speak for their work which was outstanding. Given these guys had to paint a 3600 sq ft home they were done in 2 weeks. Yes there were a few issues (its a large home it was expected) that had to be sorted but Mario was always available and got the issues fixed straight away. Would not hesitate to get this company in again they transformed a house into a home.

Hired with all kind of promises such as protected area and everything had paint on it and they left paint cans in the flower beds and the MOST DAMAGE THEY DID WAS TO RUIN OUR ENTIRE PATIO!. The worker did not know how to operate the pressure washer and used too much pressure with the nozzle to close to the surface and the surface is striated and chipped and now we will have to get the patio surface redone. They were so sloppy that they got paint on the flower bed edge border and hit and miss paint on all surfaces. The workers speak no English, so we could not ask them to quit and leave the job. Their main concern is to slop the paint as fast as possible so they can get paid and leave ASAP. The so called project manager told us that they put 2 coats of paint on in a time period of 40 minutes. It takes at least 4 hours for the first coat to dry. Make sure you check for a bond for the money you will need for the damages!

Since I couldn't be home during the painting, I asked the crew to leave all receipts and empty paint buckets as proof. They sent me "receipt" stating 25 of 5 gallon buckets ordered -NOT PURCHASED. When I returned, only 4 out of 25 buckets were there--3 without labels and 1 with a label. This is suspicious. then I double check the receipt, the "receipt" was actually just an order form, not an invoice. When I asked again for proof of purchase, they couldn't provide it. I checked directly with the Sherwin-Williams store, and they confirmed there were no purchases made by the subcontractor from prime coat in the past month. It was bad experience as we took a while to pick the color and best product for my house. But prime coat cut corner to use low quality paints which we don't even know if it has any brand. On the same day when I wrote the review in google, there were 8 five star reviews added in 24 hours. You can make your own judgement.

We were needing to have an older deck and open porch restained at our rental property after…read morereplacing some damaged boards. I was impressed by reading the 5 star reviews on Yelp and contacted Axel & Aaron Painting. We sent photos of the job to Kimberly (as requested) first, and received thier verbal quote from her. Since we hadn't met in-person and the quote was just verbal off of the photos, we wanted to meet them at our rental property to review the scope of work. My husband and I met at our rental property with the two owners, Pedro and Kimberly, and all went well. My husband spent considerable time with Pedro discussing the prep work needed. We felt comfortable proceeding, and even told them about our next job, in hopes that they could also do that (if all went well). But on Day 1 things did not go well. Two workers came to pressure wash, but Pedro was never onsite. The workers were done and left within 2 hours, before we could get back to the rental to see the work. It's a large deck and large porch with raijlings, and we found many areas had been missed, so we called them to let them know right away. My husband sent them photos as well showing the mildew and dirty areas that still needed more pressure washing (see some of the photos). We expected Pedro would of course want to come back out himself that afternoon, or the next day, Day 2, since the prep and painting wasn't going to start until Day 3, so there was still time. Kimberly, after receiving the photos, was dismissive and told us by phone "this is normal and those areas can just be sanded before painting". You cannot sand away, or paint over the mold/mildew they left behind. I think it would likely have taken 1 hour more of pressure washing and they would stay on track to start prep and paint/stain on Day 3 (the second day of work) but there was no response or assurance from Pedro it would be addressed. That evening they sent the bid with an extra $300 add-on for the "option" of two colors "IF" we were to decide to paint the railings white. This was the first and only written proposal, and it seemed fair, so we were still ready to proceed. We just needed confirmation from Kimberly, or a callback from Pedro that they would come back to finish the missed areas since. There was no still no reply. Instead, the next morning, we got an email as follows: "Unfortunately, we won't be able to complete your staining project as planned. As we mentioned before, pressure wash was completed. Sorry we couldn't meet your expectations.". This is very unprofessional and caused us (and our tentants) a huge inconvenience. We saw RED FLAGS, and we were beginning to question if we should go any further with them. I am certain the quality would have been shoddy.
