Everything went smoothly, I appreciated that they both stopped by frequently to check on progress during our paint job. Daniel's brother Art was the lead person at the house painting each day and we also hired him for carpentry work so that we could repair a balcony that had rotten support beams. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of work, timeliness, and communication by Expert Painters. Overall, they are extremely professional. On top of that, their quote was very competitive. Of the four quotes I got, they were far lower than two and competitive with the fourth. I would highly recommend Expert Painters. For context, my house needed exterior painting after 11 years of original builder's paint. Expert Painters did a great job with siding, trim, gutters, doors, and window shutters. They even asked if I wanted them to paint over conduit and other utility boxes that I had installed since I bought the house, and once I approved, they did a nice job there as well. For additional context, in my community, I know at least 5 other homes that used Expert Painters this past summer, and all of those homeowners are very satisfied. Our houses look brand new compared to the other homes that have not been repainted yet. The paint job is also doing great in handling rain (water bead and runs off nicely) and it has stayed pretty clean even through the last couple of windstorms that have gone through Kirkland. In response to Daniel, the owner's comment on my last review: Daniel stated that he was following the rules that the governor imposed due to COVID-19, therefore he did not do any services from "end of November to end of February". However, Daniel texted me on December 1st to complete the paint job on Friday, December 4th. (Refer to the photos that I provided). From my understanding, December is between the months of November and February. That is not "respecting the rules" as he stated. After Daniel did not show up to the scheduled job, Daniel agreed to refund my money on Jan 21st (refer to my photos that I provided) by using Venmo and/or Zelle, (both are contactless methods by the way); however, I did not receive the refund until AFTER he was served court papers. I was forced to serve him court papers, in which he received by U.S Postal Service Certified Mail on February 8, 2021 at 11:13am. Only then he refunded me later that same evening. His refusal to refund my money is inappropriate behavior that forced my hand to take action through the Snohomish County Court. If he had refunded me as he promised, it wouldn't have gone this far. To recap, they took my money, left the job incomplete, ignored my texts regarding the job completion, and did not issue a refund until AFTER being served to court. Be sure to proceed with caution with Expert Painters. You can see through the attached photos that his words cannot be trusted. I would hate for someone to experience the same thing I did. read more

Sent a request for a quote for painting my house exterior. Very timely and service oriented, professional painters. I was impressed with the way they handled themselves compared to other companies that came out to bid on a quote, came out and sent a quote, and scheduled the painting quickly. I even had an error in color picking (my fault) and they offered to repaint at very reasonable rates. After painting they cleaned up after themselves and even made sure my security camera was oriented properly (had to tape it up when painting). The only downside is I forgot to ask how long it takes to paint, as it does take a few days and working from home meant I had to move to different parts of the house to take my virtual meetings due to the noise. I'm so glad that I chose Expert Painters among the seven painters I quoted. They impressed me with professionalism, attention to details and competitive price from the very beginning. It's my first time to do the exterior painting and Daniel patiently explained the process and addressed all my questions. They are also the only one that offers free sampling service, which is to do six sample painting on several spots of the house to let me be sure of the colors. Expert Painters painted my house in October 2021. Pros: -Daniel was punctual to the initial appointment where we walked around my house and he gave me a quote the same day -Was able to squeeze in my painting job into a 4 day window that wasn't raining instead of having to wait until next spring -He let me pick 6 sample colors which he applied to my siding. Definitely made picking a color easier. Cons: -There were some inconsistencies in info. When he gave me the quote I asked how many people would work on the job and he said it was just him. In reality he had a team that did the masking and painting. -Prior to the job date, I asked him to update the quote he gave me and remove the garage door painting portion since I was getting a new garage door. It took many text messages from me over multiple days before he finally sent a new quote. -His team caulked all the vertical joints in my siding that shouldn't have been caulked (gaps left for expansion and shrinkage). I had to ask him to get this team to remove the caulk in those areas before painting. -During the quote walkthrough I asked for only one side of the garage to be painted, since the other side was just bare concrete and I didn't want it painted. His team painted both sides anyways and didn't tell me until after. -They took the lightbulb out of my exterior light fixture and didn't put it back in. I do not have a tall enough ladder to get up there to replace it myself. Daniel said he would replace it the day after I texted him but he never went. -They also sprayed over and inside one of my other light fixtures, including the BULB SOCKET and MOTION SENSOR. I have to replace the entire light fixture since it does not work with ANY bulb anymore. -There are some areas of the gutter spouts where they did not paint and the old paint color still shows. -The paint job included painting trim white but they only painted up to where the door closed in the door trim and didn't bother to open them to paint the entire trim, so the edges look rough and unfinished. In summary, they did paint my house but took my bulb, damaged my light fixture, and left some areas unpainted. read more
