Paint Denver did an incredible job painting our house! They went above and beyond on a zillion different details with the job. Highly recommend them for their integrity with agreeing to a tight schedule, for the incredible detail of their paint job, for their amazing customer service, from the paint crews to the office manager to the initial estimator, the friendliness of the paint crew and their work ethic, as well as the paint crew going above and beyond repeatedly! Here are a few of the highlights; My now wife and I were about to get married (in DAYS, not weeks). We had hoped to get our home painted before the wedding, but a previous contractor on the house was behind schedule with his work, so I didn't think it was feasible to paint the house with the remaining days. I called up Denver Paint with the time constraint, and told them we could wait until the spring if they didn't think it was realistic to paint the house on such a tight schedule. They sent Dave over to give our home a look over. Dave was very thorough and gave great guidance. Our house is OLD (1890) and he pointed out areas where the wood needed repair as opposed to just a paint over. With that Dave also pointed out areas where the trim could be highlighted to make it pop- our house is an old Denver Victorian where detail to the side shingles and trim really brings the house back to the way it looked years ago. Dave thought they could get the job done in a few days with some minor repairs, which was perfect. And of course, it rained on Day 1. I thought there was no way they could complete the job, but they followed up with me and said they could still make it happen. The paint crews came over earlier and prepped the house on the wet days so they'd be good to go on the dry days. And wow. Once the paint crews arrived I was sold on the quality. First, they helped my dad and I get the storm windows off the house, which was a huge help. The crew was super friendly- I even miss their singing! With the tight schedule and day lost, not only did they ask if they could come over early, but they also worked after sunset, even wearing headlamps on the last day. And this is the telling part about their work; the crew was always smiling, always friendly- and even after working late one night. With long hours you would think the quality would be bad, but nope! The next morning the paint job was so meticulous, the edges all PERFECT. No trash left behind, no paint spills on windows... it looked like they had spent weeks on the job. They finished the day guests arrived in town for the wedding, and we were able to show off our beautifully painted house to friends and family. We have had several positive comments from it- even some guys that are working on our swamp cooler asked me who did the paint job on the house, and commented on the incredible quality of the work. So, great quality of work, integrity of the schedule, amazing work ethic, stellar customer service and super friendly crews that were at the house doing the work. My final bold statement is that not only is Paint Denver the best experience I have had with painting our house, they are hands down the BEST contractor we have worked with, period. Paint Denver completed an interior project for us this summer, and did a great job overall. They did wall and baseboard paint for about 2,000 square feet of our home - everything except kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. They did a nice job, including on the trim and detail work and a built-in floor-to-ceiling bookshelf around a fireplace in our vaulted living room. They responded quickly to a request for a proposal through the Paint Denver website. Travis was friendly and professional, and sent over a quote just hours after our consultation appointment, which was really helpful. We decided to go with them based on their availability to complete the project in our timeframe and the positive reviews on various sites. We had an administrative hiccup, but that seemed to have been an anomaly (related to someone who may have left the company). We ran into an issue when our assigned project coordinator stopped responding to emails about scheduling without any notice. After calling to inquire about the delay we recieved a new project coordinator who was responsive and quickly able to get our project back on schedule! In terms of wall paint, we have an older home and many of our walls/doors are not in great shape from accumulated painting mishaps, including poorly painted-over wallpaper. The Paint Denver team made us aware of these limitations, did an impressive job given those circumstances, and they were committed to trying to deliver the best results they could get without going beyond the project parameters/budget. They also gave us a heads up on a way we could save a bit of budget with a quick task on the morning of the project, which was appreciated. They also completed work on the anticipated timeline, finishing up in about 4 days. We'd definitely consider them again for any future projects! read more

We had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Paint Denver from start to finish. After finding them on Yelp, Paint Denver responded to me the same day and Travis came out to our house the next business day to provide us with an estimate. I had gotten several estimates on painting our stair railing, but Paint Denver came in as the most reasonable and let me know they could get started the same week. After looking at the reviews on Yelp and their gallery of work, I felt comfortable that they would get the job done well. Rodrigo and his team arrived on time each day of the project and did extensive prep work to ensure the rest of the house was protected. Rodrigo was great at communicating to me what we could expect each day of the project, so I could plan accordingly. With two small kids, that isn't easy, but Rodrigo made the process much easier. When we ran into an issue with the paint color, Rodrigo went out of his way to make sure we found the perfect color to coordinate with the rest of the house. He and his team ultimately did an EXCEPTIONAL job on a very difficult project, and worked tirelessly on the final day (a full 12 hours) to ensure the job was done thoroughly and exceptionally well. We could not be happier with the final result. The stair rails look absolutely beautiful - better than we expected - and the process of working with Paint Denver was fantastic all the way through. I would highly recommend Paint Denver for any interior or exterior painting project. I know we will definitely use them for any painting projects we have in our future. I've worked with Paint Denver twice (complete interior and exterior) and am forever grateful to the entire team for helping to make my new-to-me home feel like mine! I've had the pleasure of working with Tess, Dave, Juan, and Ricardo. They've been exceptionally professional, punctual, patient, responsive, accommodating, kind, and personable, and have consistently shown integrity in their work. I think it says a ton about a business when you feel like you're their only client from beginning to end (though you know you're definitely not because their impeccable reputation precedes them). To me, it's too bad they're in the painting business only because I wish I could work with them on every house project I have. In addition to being amazing people, the quality of their work is also exceptional! I was off work most of the time that Juan and Ricardo painted my exterior, so I had the opportunity to watch them work. They kept up an incredible pace and showed such care and attention to detail that I didn't identify any areas of need during the final walk-through. Butch and Diane W. Our painter we have used in the past was unavailable due to illness and we needed some small painting projects done soon that would consume a day of work for 2 painters. We had 5 new doors needing paint, also some touch up in the family room and the kitchen ceiling needed a fresh coat of paint due to staining. We found Paint Denver through an internet search and my wife called Rob. She was really impressed with how friendly and helpful Rob was. Rob agreed to supply 2 men just a few days out from our phone call. Rob arranged for 2 painters Audias and Cristian to be at our home on Saturday at 8am. Both arrived on time and were very friendly and professional appearing. They were very attentive in asking exactly what we needed and also suggested how they could spray the doors outside and would build plastic containment to avoid any over spray. They sprayed the doors in our driveway and as promised there was no over spray whatsoever. They did the touch up in the family room and laid down tarps to avoid any mess. When they painted the kitchen ceiling they laid plastic sheeting over everything and did a fantastic job cutting the seam in. They were here about 8.5 hours and did a wonderful professional job for us and the price was extremely fair. By chance I met one of the owners, Rob, in front of his house in North Denver. Hard to miss the green Paint Denver pickup. I asked him for a quote and Travis came out to Wheat Ridge the next day and we recieved a quote a couple days later. I did a walkthrough the next week with the foreman of the crew and they started that day. We had several contractors working around in our neighborhood due to a recent hailstorm, and one of them commented that they hadn't seen a crew do as good a job taping and prepping. There were a couple issues that arose. The foreman was injured in a car accident enroute to our house, but both me and my wife were contacted immediately and they had a new foreman the next day. I made a couple notes after the final walkthrough (I changed my mind on the color on a trim piece, and I found a couple things that were missed). They addressed these issues immediately. At the end of the day, this is about the people. And like another reviewer said, communication isn't always seamless, but every issue I had was addressed in a timely manner. The folks in the crew were polite, professional and showed up early, ready to go. And even allowed our goofy poodle to run around with them. I feel totally confident that if I find anything that I am not happy with, I can call Travis or Rob and they would return to deal with it. I would definitely recommend. read more

Paint Denver exceeded our expectations. We were very pleased with everything from start to finish. We started the process by calling a few companies to request a quote. Paint Denver was the only one to call us back the same day, some we never heard from at all. Tyler was very detail oriented and covered everything that we had questions or concerns about. The quote was very reasonable and we were impressed with their professionalism. We were also provided with a color consultation since we were struggling to come up with a final decision on our color scheme. Kelsey who came over for the consultation was very helpful and great to work with. We were then scheduled for a couple weeks out and had some concerns since rain was forecast every day that week. Tyler and Rob were in contact the entire time and would occasionally give us a call to check in on things. The paint crew was also very excellent. It was amazing how much work they were able to accomplish in the few days that they were there. They were very friendly, hard working, and also addressed any questions or concerns that we had. This review is very very overdue, but still important. At the end of the day, Paint Denver did a great job for me. I had them paint the entire downstairs of our house last December (2017). The project started out a little rough, though. I had them out to walk the space and put together an estimate. I got the estimate very shortly thereafter, but I had follow up questions which I emailed to them and asked if we could book the work on some specific dates. I went a week or so with no response. I called their office, left messages, sent more emails and could not get a reply. I finally got in touch with Rob, the owner, and explained my frustrations. From that point on, we had no issues. Rob made it right, apologized, and his guys performed great work. They were on time, took care to protect my floors and furniture, and were professional and courteous. Their project manager (Tyler I think) came to check on things. I asked them to paint some built in shelves which were not part of the original plan they were quick to let me know what that would cost so I could make the decision. A few minor issues to touch up after the job was done, but the guys took care of them right away. I would definitely use Paint Denver again for any large painting projects. read more

Painters!....everyone has a horror story about dealing with a painter. I do too....but not this time!! I found a painting company that is honest, fair, completes their work flawlessly and wait for it!!!.......EARLY. I am the Personal Representative for a friends estate that is tasked with getting her house sold. I almost listed it "as is" because of past experience with painters. I found Paint Denver on line and couldn't believe the reviews. Now I am their biggest fan! Travis is very knowledgeably & bid the job fairly & competitively. Tess scheduled the job around my many needs. The painters, 5 of them, showed up early on the scheduled day! Sylvia was in charge and she managed the project expertly. They remove a ton of wallpaper and made the place look amazing, inside and out!! Travis checked on the job each day and kept me informed as to the progress. We had such a great experience with Paint Denver - from the start of the project (including my first call and the proposal process) through finish! I worked with Ivan Casteneda for the proposal and project management portion - he was wonderful and so great to work with. He was very responsive and great at communicating though out the process. The crew was respectful and timely and the work was so well done. The foreman for the project, Uriel, did such a great job. I work from home and he and the crew were so hardworking and also respectful of having others in the house during the work. Paint Denver painted our cabinets and our kitchen, laundry room, and half bath walls. They worked with me to help pick colors and would even follow-up with me if I had not responded in a few days - which is so helpful when my husband and I both work fulltime and need an extra reminder here and there. The photos I posted show how beautiful the cabinets look. We are redoing the countertops, backsplash, and floor, so the cabinet color will match much better with the other items completed. Terrific experience with this provider. I needed paint in the living and kitchen areas of my home, which had difficult surfaces, vaulted ceilings, and tricky stairwells. The owner came out to provide a quote within 24 hours when his teams were on job sites, just to keep things speedy for me (total not necessary, but very accommodating). Super nice and knowledgeable guy. The team came out a few days later when we had picked our colors and knocked out the work in a day - they were very professional, very detail oriented (used all the proper tools/resources to do the jop properly), and left the house clean. There was even a spot on the wall which I was in the process of repairing (doorknob hole) that was drying/had yet to be sanded, and by the time I went downstairs to attend to it the team had sanded and painted that area for me. No corners cut, even for a residential $750 job (which was a great price from my research). I also received a call from the owner that evening to check on the work, and a care package i the mail with my paperwork for my files, and a water bottle. Couldn't believe it for such a small job. Will definitely be using this company for my exterior next year. read more

I could not be more impressed with this company! I received several bids from different paint companies in Denver. Although Paint Denver was not the lowest (by far), I can't imagine any other company doing a better job. I needed three rooms included the ceilings/ trim and the downspouts on the outside of my house painted. Paint Denver sent out a crew of three guys the first day and two the second. They did an amazing job and were very respectful of my space and time. Since I work from home only feet away from the rooms needed to be painted, I was worried about the noise. However, I did not need to be! The whole crew was great, very courteous and even tolerated my dog following each of them room to room! After they were gone, I noticed a couple of (very small) spots that needed attention. I emailed Tess and she got back to me immediately! The same crew was back within a couple of hours and fixed these very minor issues. Yes, I paid a little bit more with Paint Denver, but it was worth every penny. Like many of you I started my paint contractor search by asking people for referrals and searching online, eventually ending up like you right now, on Yelp. Once here I was quite surprised to see all the Five Star ratings for Paint Denver. I don't recall if every one of them was a 5/5 or not, but there were so many that I thought no company, especially a painting company, could be this good. Like all their reviews say, I'm sure glad I called them! Everyone I dealt with from Rob Peterson the owner, to Cindy Braun the office manager, to Dave Urbont the sales guy, to their on-site crew boss were all superior as well! They told me they were residential painters but would give my four 12-unit buildings their best shot. Well, you'd never know by the job they did. It was the best I've ever seen. The attention to detail was beyond what I, even as a picky person, would do myself. I looked at all four of my 12-unit buildings and didn't see any shortcuts. My client and I had our painters bail on us, leaving us with a lot of unfinished work. I called Paint Denver, explained our issue and they had Travis Callas out to meet me in an hour from my initial phone call. He was on time, polite and genuinely cared about our concern for the unfinished disaster that was left in our hands. This was on a Thursday. He scheduled the work to be done for the following Monday. THREE DAYS LATER. His crew of 3, came promptly at 9am Monday morning, as requested. Meticulously prepped the house for the job. Took them 3 days to finish A TON of work, mistakes and mess. I just had the inside of part of my townhome painted and I have to tell you...Paint Denver is the place to use! Tyler came to my home, surveyed and measured the painting I needed to have done. The next day I had a very reasonable quote and contracted with them immediately. Even though their schedules were very full, they found a "break" and scheduled me very quickly. The paint job was completed yesterday and Tyler's crew (Junior and Angel) did a really wonderful job. They even nailed some of my baseboards that were coming away from the walls and then caulked when they were finished painting. Junior and Angel were very professional and efficient. After they finished painting, I did a walk-through with the crew and there were no "touch-ups" needed. My son (who used to paint homes professionally) came by after Junior and Angel left to check out the work they had done and was as impressed as I was. I have had a great experience with Rob, the owner, and his team. As a contractor, I used Paint Denver on a client's butcher block kitchen counter top. It looked like glass after he was done putting the food grade epoxy coat on it. The clients and I were impressed by his work. When it came time to paint the exterior of my home, I knew exactly who I wanted to do the work and called Rob. He was thorough with his inspection, professional, and timely which I appreciate. His scheduler, Tess, did a great job working with me to get Alvaro and Christian here as soon as I completed my exterior remodel. They did a great job of communicating with me and a wonderful job masking and painting my home. They were efficient, clean, and polite. As a contractor, I have seen many paint jobs and these guys were some of the best I have worked with in my career. My neighbors have all let me know how nice my home looks. We are very happy with the exterior paint job Paint Denver did for us. Dave and Rob (the owner) were very helpful. Juan and his crew were great and the work was detailed and thorough. We got three different estimates, including Vivax. Paint Denver was the best price. We weren't necessarily looking for the cheapest price, but essentially chose to go with Paint Denver because we liked their work ethic and Dave, who did the estimate, included a detailed list of repairs in the quote (rather than the more general ones that we got from the other companies). We liked that the price quoted was the exact price it would be, even if they made a mistake and underquoted. We felt like Paint Denver would give us a more personalized experience compared to the other companies, and they did. The owner, Rob, came by himself to check on the progress and make sure we were happy with everything. Our house looks great! We've used Paint Denver now for 3 painting projects! Our first experience went so well with the exterior of our rental property that we immediately had them paint certain rooms on the interior while getting it prepared for the rental market. About a year later, we had them back out to paint the exterior of our own home as well. Rob, Travis, Elizabeth, and Cindy have always been professional and kept to their estimates! The painting crews have all been extremely respectful, hard-working from dusk until dawn, and on time. The projects were done quickly, they cleaned up after themselves, and any issues I noticed, they quickly corrected or touched them up. What I can honestly say, is it's nice to work with a contract company that is true to its word and values its customers. Too many other bad experiences lately with contractors that don't value my time or money, or honestly the integrity of their own work. Very High Quality job. I found Rob and Paint Denver from reading online reviews. I'd had two rooms in my house painted and the prior painter did a mediocre job. When I decided to have the rest of my house painted, I wanted someone else, so I researched reviews just like this one, online. When you have work like this done, where the end result is something you're going to see every time you come home, I think it's really important for the people doing the work to care about what they're doing. The quality of the paint work done by the Paint Denver team was far superior to my prior painter. They took great care in prepping all surfaces, priming, and ensuring the paint coverage was complete.
