In the concrete world of La Plaine St Denis in Paris, just outside the RER B station that welcomes everyone travelling by public transport to Stade de France, sits this almost 'sleepy' eatery.
Nothing fancy, nothing too in your face and over-priced, just a decent selection of freshly made sandwiches, salads, paninis etc. Good, fresh, competitively priced lunch time goodies.
I imagine (although don't know for sure) that this place is open only for breakfast and lunch to cater for the thousands of business people who work in the area (not many residential properties in these parts). You can decide to take away or sit outside on the terrace that is, amazingly, relatively peaceful.
Much better value than many of the midday restaurants in the area that happily serve whatever they can get out of the kitchen to feed the hungry suited hoards at midday. read more
