One is not required to go to Costco, this eyecare is not affiliated with Costco, but it is directly next-door, kind of in the same building, but not really. I will be back again next year. They sent a text on Wednesday for a reminder of a $ 17.44 remaining payment that insurance did not cover. If you think you have till the week end to deal with it, then you are WRONG. Collection starts calling you on Friday adding a $50 fee making the total dues 4x the original amount. Other clinics would take few extra dollars from you beyond the deductible in case the insurance does not cover all the promised amount and then reimburse you the difference.

What made me particularly uncomfortable was being asked several times about my career and what I do for work, while I felt that more time could have been spent gathering information about my eyes and medical/eye history. Overall, I left feeling that my concerns were not fully addressed and that the service did not meet the expectations that had been communicated to me beforehand. The front people do forget (or have with my kids) to do a PD measurement but that's something you can do at home, no need to come back in for that. So I went to Walmart cause they fix lenses indefinitely for 20$.

Now, I never intended to wear these in public, as I still have the 6th grade mentality of "I look like a dork when I wear glasses", though I think nearly most other people look rad in them. These were just a pair of, "Hopefully my man will think I'm cute in these while I wear them for 20 minutes a night before bed" glasses, so I wanted to be as stylish as possible. $400 and six years later, here I am--with badly misshapen but somehow still intact glasses after being sat on (and rather forcefully, might I add). I figured I'd have to bite the bullet and shell out another week's paycheck and buy another pair, though I intend to get lasik very soon. I took my sad, pathetic little pair of glasses to this store, and the girl tried very hard not to laugh while she happily faced the challenge of making them look like normal again. And wouldn't you know, she and her miracle worker ways were successful...without a penny out of my pocket (or my checking account, as I rarely pay with pennies and rather my debit card), and I was on my way. Now I'm proud to sport the glasses, 6th grade mentality aside, because they look normal again!
