But she did provide us with an excellent timeline of where we should be during the planning process, as well as provided us with solid vendor recommendations. We will take note of any pertinent requirements like electricals, parking spaces, etc. Contingency planning To tie up loose ends is one of the major duties of the wedding coordinator. Our original florist unfortunately came down with a serious health condition two months before our wedding date and could no longer provide the flowers for our wedding. Fortunately, Gerych's had availability for our date on short order! It was more expensive than we had anticipated, but they were willing to work with me when I asked about cutting costs where we could. While I was initially concerned that the bouquets didn't look like the inspiration I sent, I quickly realized that they were possibly even better.
