She provides you with all the tools to begin your planning- your budget sheet, your vendor list to fill out, ideas, guides, and more. She has it down to a science and takes the guess-work away. She will set up meeting with your vendors and help guide you through what to consider, what to prioritize, and how consider your budget or concerns. She is also so kind and helps keep you calm and at peace as you are planning and the actual day of the wedding. My guests noticed and commented on how smoothly the wedding-day flowed, and I owe all of that to her. Working with her was an absolute joy.

She is clearly comfortable working with people of all ages, faiths, races, and ethnicities. It was such a blessing to have such a seasoned wedding professional to guide us along our wedding planning journey. Dalia provided helpful tips, checklists, and gentle reminders for important milestones (e.g., ordering wedding invitations). She also had many excellent recommendations for vendors, ordering save-the-dates and wedding invitations, and ideal day-of-timelines. My now husband said that Dalia was great and that he was grateful that she helped take the stress out of our special day. Side note, my husband initially didn't think we needed a wedding planner because I'm "really organized." After the wedding, he saw why getting a wedding planner was absolutely necessary, even for an organized bride like me. If you're on the fence about getting a wedding planner, GO WITH DALIA! You will not regret it. Hiring her will give you peace of mind on one of the most important days of your life and reduce your wedding-related stress.

To start with: I was hooked on Debbie during our first conversations. Unlike other wedding planners I spoke with, she did not immediately push me on her packages and get me to sign a contract. Instead she spent two hours on the phone with me listening to our day and the issues we had run into so far planning. She immediately jumped in and worked with me trying to find solutions to these initial problems. I actually felt like she cared about our day and was going to work hard to make it perfect. That's when we chose her and over the year we planned together, we never regretted the decision. My husband and I had a complicated wedding day. We had 200 guests and had two ceremonies (Hindu and Christian) at two locations with a luncheon and evening reception. All in one day! It was logistically very complicated. In addition, Debbie had never planned an Indian wedding (which she was up front about during our initial conversations). While we definitely needed to both do our homework throughout the year, Debbie did an amazing job all year researching Hindu traditions and actually coming to us with ideas for vendors. She is unbelievably organized and meticulous which is definitely why our crazy day went so perfectly. We weren't sure if we could truly pull off our tight timeframe for the day but we did almost to the minute! Our guests definitely noticed how smooth the whole day was and appreciated it! We have received so many compliments about our wedding day from both of our families and friends. We were able to honor both sides and traditions and make the long day fun for them. Much of this success is due to Debbie. Debbie is also just truly a pleasure to work with. Her husband, Mike, and her are just "good people" that make it fun to spend hours throughout the year on the phone discussing what can be mundane details of a wedding day, checking out vendors, etc. She led us repeatedly to vendors that were similar - she tried to use smaller and locally owned vendors when possible. We were so happy with everyone she introduced us to and loved supporting local. One of the most telling signs of what Debbie meant to me is probably how I felt that week before the wedding. While I had some stress with our visitors and some private events we were hosting during the week with family and friends, I had NO stress about the wedding day itself. I had total faith that Debbie and her team would be on top of all the details. When my mom expressed a worry about how she'd know when this or that was happening on the day, I said "don't worry! listen to Debbie!" It's wonderful to NOT focus on all those details and last minute challenges of wedding planning, but rather to be able to focus on the excitement of marrying the love of your life and celebrating with family and friends. Debbie made that possible. Thank you, Debbie, for making our wedding day truly the best day ever!!

Debbie was the only vendor that I used who was able to work around the time difference and the whole planning process was seamless. We used Debbie for Day of Planning, as well as having her assist us with the rehearsal the night before. We had several phone calls in the months leading up to the event. It was so helpful that she always had a list of things that I needed to accomplish before our next call. I had so many other things going on it was difficult to stay on task. Debbie took the time to meet with me and my family during one trip to Michigan and was able to meet with me again when I returned three weeks before. She was so kind to all of my family members, after our first meeting they all commented on how organized she was. In the weeks leading up to the wedding Debbie offered her assistance with all the last minute details, she even offered to help me out if my family was starting to drive me nuts. Before the events she confirmed all vendor appointments and even worked out a few kinks we had in the scheduling. I was able to drop all of the little details for the wedding to her in advance so I would not have to worry about the little things like table numbers and seating charts. The day of our wedding Debbie and her team were so helpful, everything was seamless, she took charge of the ceremony, because the venue did not have an onsite coordinator. I did not have to worry about a thing. She even handled a little meltdown by my aunt. I do not think our wedding would have turned out so amazing without her. I would recommend her to everyone looking to have a day of coordinator. She will really put your mind at ease. You cannot put a price on the services she provides. It is worth every penny.

The history of succulents, types, care, and process of making our own. We each got to pick our own glass, succulent, and put a variety of decor in ours. Robbin is also HILARIOUS. We were all cracking up throughout the night. Not only was the class informative and fun, their small plant accessories (I got a mushroom and frog) were max $5! I've ordered from Blumz for Valentine's Day after doing much research in the Detroit area for the best quality and price for flowers. Blumz was $10 less than anywhere else and had more flowers. I don't know how they do it but they do it well!

Let me begin by saying I live across the country on the West Coast. This particular occasion, I decided to call and place an order because it was my mother's 71st birthday. It was very important to me that my mother had a beautiful arrangement given I was not there to celebrate with her. I advised on two separate occasions that I wanted a very full very and lush floral arrangement to make her day special. I told the young lady that I had a budget of $150-$200 to spend. I just wanted to make sure again that the arrangement was very nice. I couldn't believe what the designer had put together for $180. It was full of filler and only 3-5 stems. I purchase home florals monthly and am certain the vase wouldn't not go for $100 at this point. I called the following day after delivery to share my frustration and request that they provide a better arrangement that showcases the value of what I paid. I even told her we could simply discuss a refund because they couldn't get it right. Neither looked anything of what was originally requested for my mother's special occasion. Despite all that, had they delivered the second arrangement as promised with no hiccups, I wouldn't have left a review at all. However, what happened next truly stunned me, and I have to caution future patrons to steer clear of this florist. Upon delivery of the corrected arrangement, the young lady asked my mother for the previous arrangement pictured here back. When my mom asked why she explained that she was taking it back so that she can resell it!!! Keep in mind this set of flowers were delivered a full day prior, so whomever is purchasing this is getting recycled flowers that have been traveled and sitting in my parents home! Not only is this disgusting customer service, but horrible quality control.

During the process, Nicola was very organized and professional, and was very accepting that we did not need her full services. But she did provide us with an excellent timeline of where we should be during the planning process, as well as provided us with solid vendor recommendations. Was also more difficult because one of us was organizing the wedding from long distance, and we very much appreciated her help in supporting our local family in accomplishing all our goals. Our wedding turned out flawlessly and we owe part of her to her organization and mindfulness. On the day of the wedding, she did an excellent job in making sure things went smoothly and that everything progressed on time, and worked well with our families and our reception venue coordinator.

Thank god we didn't sign up for her "whole package deal " at a bridal show. Would've been the biggest mistake EVER. All I can suggest to newly engaged is to do your research. The lady I had to deal with had an attitude and argued with me about sending me a copy of receipt just because she sent my fiancée a copy a few weeks ago. As a business owner, your job is to provide good customer service and just email the receipt, not argue and say get it from your fiancée! Second, when I finally received the receipt (after arguing for it), she said she was waiting on us to tell her chair count and sash color to finish our invoice. I emailed her this info 6/27 (day after I received the receipt) and forwarded it to her twice on 7/1 and 7/3 and I left a voicemail on 7/4 and still no response and no final invoice. This person works out of their home/garage and the level and quality of service provided is obvious. There is no excuse for not responding to emails or returning calls. Even if you have a family emergency, at least communicate that to your customers! The job of the merchant is to communicate EVERYTHING so the customer doesn't sit around getting angry. Replying to emails and answering the phone are standard tasks in running a business and these people haven't mastered that yet. They can keep my $75 deposit, I don't need the money. By the way they do business, they'll need it more. We have a policy at my company that if emails or calls aren't returned within 24 hours, you're written up because that reflects bad on the company and there is no room for poor customer service (or people like that) in a successful company. Emailed to cancel everything on 7/8 and still have not heard anything. Again, very unprofessional. Lesson learned: you get what you pay for. There's a reason they charge $1 per chair cover. Seems like they're desperate for business and I now understand why. Update: It is now 10/6 and still no communication. No money back and no chair covers for my wedding from them. Thankfully, we found a great company to replace this garage business.
