The PAGSS lounge at Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport is accessible to All Nippon Airline passengers that are traveling in Premium Economy and Business Class. While the lounge is not very large, it is adequate to provide a warm up spot before boarding your plane. There are many choices of drink, including a limited selection of spirits, wine and beer. There were numerous food choices that included appetizers, soups, dim sum and main course selections. The food and drink stations never ran empty or dry.
There is an attentive staff keeping an eye out for any item that is running low and it is immediately refilled. For certain items, other selections took their place when it needed refilling. This is a welcome habit, because you get the opportunity to taste a large variety of delicacies. One aspect that I noted during my 6:45 am visit was that all the food selections had an Oriental flare with emphasis on Chinese and Filipino food. I was actually hoping that there would be at least one western selection, say scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. None was found. In spite of this striking shortcoming, this lounge is worth the visit. What I liked most was the single high chairs by the window where there was ample opportunity to see planes take off. Other lounge seating is also extremely comfortable. The seating areas were equipped with power outlets. All round service at the PAGSS lounge was very good. read more
