With the cool air-conditioning and the live bands and groups like the FBC "Rebirth" and the L & S Femme stoking up the crowd's enthusiasm and letting them sing along to the hits of yesterday and today, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. This makes it an ideal hang-out for those looking to spend little on fun activities, especially ADMU and Miriam students. The environment of this branch, though, does not really stand out compared to other branches. Music 22 Katipunan offers a moderate selection of rooms to accommodate groups of different sizes, although all the rooms practically look the same with a simple set-up of the karaoke equipment, table, and couches. Space is allotted for each room to allow for some dancing to the songs on some occasions. Some of the equipment, though, looks worn out, and microphones tend to break down more times than not. The selection of songs is sufficient, although the songbook is quite disorganized, making it hard to find the newest added songs. Its location also makes it slightly difficult to access. The congested traffic in Katipunan Avenue, especially during rush hours, might make it difficult to bring your car to the area. Being located between UP and ADMU, walking to Music 22 along the polluted Katipunan Avenue is not exactly a healthy option, either. Nonetheless, if all you are looking for is to sing and eat and drink your night away with friends, then Music 22 in Katipunan Avenue should be good enough of an option. The affordable rates and good company should make your karaoke time at the very least fun and worth your money.

What I do not like is that students from nearby schools and universities may need to take additional transportation (jeep, trike, or car) because the place is not ideal to walk to especially at night. Aside from that, some microphones they place on the rooms are defective and the remote buttons are not readable, unless you often go to KTVs and you happen to be familiarized with their remotes already. ;) Overall, Music 22 is a must-try KTV and I would highly recommend this especially when on a tight budget and on a spontaneous get together. A brief, joking conversation with a bouncer took an unexpectedly dark turn. When I lightheartedly asked if anyone had ever tripped on the spiral staircase, he replied, "Only if I throw them off." Joking or not, for someone responsible for patron safety, this felt in poor taste and sounds like he wants to look or sound intimidating. It's a remark that unfortunately sticks with you. And it was of bad taste. This isn't your typical bar where the standards are available and the bartender looks like your dad's pare. The bartenders here are definitely serious mixologists and there's no drink here I haven't enjoyed. There's a good selection of imported beers here, though I would like to see more local filipino craft here since the only local beer option is San Miguel Extra Dry unfortunately. Come here to chill with friends and let off some steam. They also offer food selections from their other neighbor, Joe's Meat Shack. If I'm not looking to go crazy on my few nights off and I'm looking for some straight chill, Finders Keepers is definitely a keeper for me.
