Right now it's smaller than usual since the other lounge is closed due to construction from i heard, so seating is tighter than what you would expect from a full lounge setup. Still, it does the job. The space is clean and quiet compared to the main terminal. After dealing with the crowd outside, just having a calm place to sit down and breathe already feels like an upgrade. It's not luxurious, but it's comfortable enough to relax, charge your devices, and wait for boarding without stress. Food selection is simple but decent. There were hot dishes, some light snacks, and drinks available. Nothing over the top, but enough to keep you full before a flight. Staff kept things organized despite the limited space, and tables were cleared regularly. If you're expecting a huge premium lounge experience, this isn't it right now because of the construction. But if you just want a quieter space, decent food, and a break from the busy terminal, PAGSS still delivers. It serves its purpose well.

Positives: Not much Negatives: The food is mediocre at best; There are two sections to the lounge. We were in the overflow area that doesn't have a restroom. You have to walk back to the main area; Asshole guests talking on the phone in the lounge. The next time I am in the PI, I hope I have access to a better lounge.

I've just recently been getting back into the party scene and out of all the bars / clubs I've been to, the two of them are definitely up there on the fave list. With Pangaea I love the interior and the quality service. Also that you'll be pretty laid back most of the time and just drinking with friends, you can dance if you feel like it. Since I've tried going to both in one night, I can't imagine doing it any other way. Definitely the best way to do it!

Luckily for me, one of my jobs led me to seeing and experiencing Pangaea on it's first few weeks of operation. It's certainly interesting, with scantily clad ladies behind the bar serving up the drinks with ease and an air of confidence that men wouldn't dare attempt to offend or take advantage. There are several couches, available for a minimum spending guarantee, that comes with standard bottle service, which they upped as those who got tables even have a dedicated V.I.P. service managers to ensure you have the best experience possible. There were also ladies going around, dancing on the open spaces and even on the ledges to hype-up the crown and get the party started. Soon after, they were inviting people to dance, which actually worked. Soon after, the dancefloor was full and even those who were still in their respective couches were on their feet and dancing as well.

This lounge is located in the 4th level in the pre-departure area. Seating is a bit tight and the lack of windows contributes to the feeling of claustrophobia. The lounge s quite small and the motif is dark wood and marble. Food is also pretty basic. Aside from the arroz caldo (a filipino style porridge), there wasn't much in selections. There were finger sandwiches, fried rice, hummus plates, and a couple of desserts. Alcohol is also available. There's a limited selection of liquors and beers. There was only white wine at the time of our visit. There's showers and a couple f restrooms for guests. Attendants takes care of notifying the passengers on boarding times for each airline. WiFi is also available, however connection seems to heavily lag when the lounge is full. Overall, it's a basic no frills lounge.

When we stopped by, they had 3 kinds of local beer including red horse which seems to be a favorite. Their hard liquor selection was impressive too for such a small lounge. They also had canned juices, bottled water and coffee. Food wise, there weren't that many to choose from but I thought their veggie chow mein dish was surprisingly delicious. They also had pasta Alfredo, some chicken dish, a salad bar and fresh fruits. Their ladies room was small and clean. It had a shower as well. Would be nice if they could make the lounge bigger and brighten it up a little so it didn't look so dreary.

I enjoy the happy dancey trippy vibe but at the same time I don't like my drink spilled or someone constantly bumping into our table / area because everything's so cramped up. You'd never have that problem with Chaos. There's definitely room for both types of people (dance all night or drink till you're sober). When you go to high-end bars, you usually have expectations like I do. I mean, you should get your money's worth, right? What I'm very keen on is the service and followed by the quality of whatever it is I'm paying for. Definitely worth it. My sister's medium boneless ribeye came out more rare than my medium rare and she finally had to settle for ribs! Which were actually edible. Biggest problem was the cutlery! The serrated steak knives were so dull and bent, you couldn't even cut a tender steak if you got one. If you can't even give your customers a decent knife, don't complain when they send back a steak. I give the manager credit for apologizing and doing what she could but Expats beware. If you're craving a good steak, save your $ and go to Wolfgang's. I understand that things are different here in the PI. I'm amazed that there is so much variety among restaurants. But it is not the fault of the locals when the restaurant company gives them cheap tools and products just to cut costs! Bad cooking is something else, though. A horrible experience at a Mesa restaurant actually made my wife go back in the kitchen and show the chef in training how to make adobo! Overall, I love the PI and the local cuisine. I think I'll stick to the chain restaurants that I know for certain are consistent.
