I them called Black Bird. They sent Fernando out to handle the issue. He found the problems and corrected them. It turns our that the problems were actually caused by the other company. As a custom home Builder building a new spec home in Crestline, CA I contracted Tom Loc at Fire…read moreChief Pro to design and install the fire sprinkler system in the home. The work was completed 18 months ago. Recently discovered a leak upstairs in the sprinkler system. Damaging the ceiling and the hardwood floors below. Contacted Tom and was informed since the 1 year warranty had expired, I would be charged $1,600 for a service call, plus the cost of replacement anti freeze in the system. A regular service call costs $800, apparently my home is worth double the regular bill. I pointed out to the owner Tom that his system had failed and I did not feel it was appropriate to pay him for repairs to his own recent shoddy work. I would also have to pay for drywall repair and paint after he was finished poking holes in my ceiling, chasing down his leak. None of this mattered to Tom, who insisted on being compensated for repairs to his poor workmanship. I am not going to pay Tom to fix his leak, I am hiring a more responsible, accountable contractor to clean up after Fire Sprinkler Pro instead. I would not reccomend this firm to any design team, architect, engineer or home builder. Find someone who does a proper professional job and stands behind their work instead.
