Perfect private school in Orange County. Small class size and a great curriculum.

Her having Mr Mike Hurley mentoring and being skilled in showing care , emphatic ways of helping her in her learning was so noticeable in my granddaughter.. Her confidence expanded in learning . Plus there was no fear in her and seen greatly due to his ways how he taught and showed great concern daily .. After only two weeks of attendance my son was exhausted from too much sun exposure. They have these poor children sitting on the hot black top for too long. They don't watch the young kids at recess or lunch. My son got hurt and nobody had any answers. His teacher did not even notice that he was limping around. Talk about not paying any attention. My son had a terrible time trying to adjust and find his own way around because there was no real supervision. Where was the patience and guidance? They alienated my boy when he just needed some time to regulate his emotions. I do not recommend this school at all.

My daughter is now in 3rd grade and loves her teachers, wenn she comes home, she often even plays, that she is a teacher and repeats with her puppets what she did and learned in the school. Although she had a hard time with divorce between me and her mother, the school gave her stability, joy and purpose. If you want to have a good experience and best results with any waldorf school, it's necessary to understand it's core principles and foundation and cooperate with that. It's hundert years approved pedagogy with great results in the whole world, but it needs cooperation. I am grateful and happy, that my daughter can be educated in WSOC!

Many of the teachers are amazing. My child was blessed to travel the grades with Brooke Natzke and that experience was amazing. I can't recommend a more qualified person. My are having a great experience with Mrs Schwarz in the grades now for our next child. Our daughter is attending Waldorf High School and has found many of the teachers to be very supportive and helpful. She found her passion because of the championing of her Earth Science Teacher.

The area feels safe and peaceful, which makes daily drop-off and pick-up very easy and stress-free. What truly stood out was the depth of knowledge and passion shown by both the teachers and the principal. They were thoughtful, well-spoken, and clearly dedicated to providing a strong educational foundation for their students. It was evident that they genuinely care about child development, learning, and long-term growth. After the tour, we felt confident and excited about the school's approach to education. Our toddler really enjoyed the environment, and we are very likely to enroll after seeing firsthand the care, structure, and vision the school offers. Highly recommend to any family looking for a nurturing and academically focused school community.

She is adding and subtracting. This is well beyond TK standards. Thank you issac! She joyfully sings in Spanish in the home and is teaching me mandarin. She is socially and academically thriving.

There is one teacher for every ten kids in the classroom, allowing for individual attention. Any behavioral problems are quickly addressed and resolved in a constructive manner that equips students with tools to handle future conflicts. I hate to admit this, but when I compare the way Pegasus first graders interact during free play to the way his public school friends interact, I see a dramatic difference. Pegasus kids are problem solvers; they calm conflicts and seek solutions. Maybe it's a selection bias at the admissions level, but in the end, who cares? I'm proud of my child on the playground and of what he has learned academically. Fingers crossed this continues in his future experiences.

This is not a good school when it comes to assessment tests ( Which not simply testing whether your kids can communicate back and forth or not) for a kindergarten level. I feel like I got scam, they should have made a video to talk about the assessment tests, warnings for the parents to consider. I don't think the kids will be happy learning anything here. This place is all about money and intense competitions. The era of AI will eliminate these corrupted educations, absolutely bring no values to the kids. Parents nowadays are too busy and think paying a lot means good results.
