My grandaughter at her last year at Davis 6th grade she flourished with learning…read more. Her having Mr Mike Hurley mentoring and being skilled in showing care , emphatic ways of helping her in her learning was so noticeable in my granddaughter.. Which changed her thinking of school so much to knowing she's talented and able to accomplish great things in her journey of education like no teacher I've seen .. Her confidence expanded in learning . Plus there was no fear in her and seen greatly due to his ways how he taught and showed great concern daily .. Thank you for this blessing for not only my granddaughter but other students leaving Davis spreading their wings for life's accomplishments...‍‍

I thought that I won the school lottery because my son was accepted into kindergarten…read more Unfortunately this school was not all it was "quacked "up to be. After only two weeks of attendance my son was exhausted from too much sun exposure. They have these poor children sitting on the hot black top for too long. They don't watch the young kids at recess or lunch. My son got hurt and nobody had any answers. His teacher did not even notice that he was limping around. Talk about not paying any attention. My son had a terrible time trying to adjust and find his own way around because there was no real supervision. Where was the patience and guidance? They alienated my boy when he just needed some time to regulate his emotions. I do not recommend this school at all.

For my daughter is this the third waldorf school, we moved because of my job. The waldorf education…read moreis always special, wherever you are. But I can say, we are happy to be part of WSOC now. My daughter is now in 3rd grade and loves her teachers, wenn she comes home, she often even plays, that she is a teacher and repeats with her puppets what she did and learned in the school. Although she had a hard time with divorce between me and her mother, the school gave her stability, joy and purpose. If you want to have a good experience and best results with any waldorf school, it's necessary to understand it's core principles and foundation and cooperate with that. It's hundert years approved pedagogy with great results in the whole world, but it needs cooperation. I am grateful and happy, that my daughter can be educated in WSOC!

We love Waldorf education and at Waldorf School of Orange County the College of Teachers, the Board…read moreand the Staff are dedicated to a good educational experience in the Waldorf pedagogy. Many of the teachers are amazing. My child was blessed to travel the grades with Brooke Natzke and that experience was amazing. I can't recommend a more qualified person. My are having a great experience with Mrs Schwarz in the grades now for our next child. Our daughter is attending Waldorf High School and has found many of the teachers to be very supportive and helpful. She found her passion because of the championing of her Earth Science Teacher.

Adam's Elementary…read more Don't ask Suzanne Sense to help with anything. My family/son really like this school. But as i said, dont Ask Suzanne Sense to do the extra mile for any student... Recently my son always brings a basketball to school that way more children can play without fighting for what basketballs the school offers. Not long ago April 2022 son was absent & left his ball in his class bin so others could play with. Upon returning the following day his ball was gone. Giving the children the benefit of doubt not stealing, we assumed his ball was put in the wrong 5th grade class bin. School ends at 3pm & since we had basketball practice that evening, he/my son really wanted to located his ball. At 3:15pm we went to office and explained to Suzanne Sense that it was very important we try locating his basketball and explained to her we think another may have simply returned basketball to wrong 5th grade class bin and we would really appreciate if he could go look. Well him going back into school grounds only after school had been out for 15 minutes was a Big No No, not sure why. We then pleaded with her to please go check and was only 100ft away, she refused. Why not sure, but apparently school Was already over as of 15 minutes ago... My son then asked ask "please i have practice tonight" Suzanne Sense them started questioning my son trying to confuse him as if he was mistaking, completely inappropriate. Fast forward she did not help, did not care, yet Servant to the children and parents that pay her salary, ok fine. Upon locating his ball a few days later, another child tries saying it's his and not my sons. Funny thing is, my sons name is written on the ball. Now this child starts following my son around claiming this is his ball, even though his name is all over the ball. End of story, one child is sticking with his story trying to steal my sons ball & my son has to defend himself and his property. This could have w fed up being a fight between two school mates when it could have been avoid days later if this woman was not lazy & cared more for the children. Just be aware, this woman does not care about being a civil servant nor the children or respect the parents. I called the www.nmusd.org and, well nothing. ssense@nmusd.us Thanks

The attention and support he has received with the small class size has helped him in both his academic and social development. Ms Kaytee went above and beyond with providing a customized education that allowed my child to flourish and be challenged. The education and supportive framework that Mrs Kristen has put in place has resulted in a wonderful sense of community. Whether the children are participating in the bi-yearly musical performances or the yearly spelling bee, all the kids are encouraged and supported to try something new. At Page, parents do not need to worry about bullies or having their child fall between the cracks. The students are cared for and the teachers go above and beyond to ensure each child is supported while learning a solid curriculum. Thank you Page

I live near this school and I just want to know why it is always so LOUD. There is constantly music…read moreplaying and children performing ? Outside and the sound of course echoes throughout the community. It's hard to work from home some days and it seems very odd for an elementary school to have music playing so often, unless is it a performing arts school and I was unaware. I am all for children having a fun learning environment but would it be impossible to consider the neighborhood surrounding? Wouldn't bother sending my child here in the future, I'd be worried they won't actually be learning anything. Just how to badly perform.
