As technology continues to evolve and as information and technical skills become increasingly accessible, I found myself thinking less about education as simply what my children would learn and more about who they would become while learning it. I wanted an education that placed real value on the human qualities that I believe will matter throughout their lives: emotional intelligence, strong character, confidence, kindness, integrity, self-awareness, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with others. That is why it brings me such comfort knowing my children are surrounded each day by kind, present, and intentional teachers and leaders who don't simply teach these qualities, but model them. Children learn so much from the adults around them, and I deeply value knowing that the people helping educate my children are also demonstrating the behaviors and values we hope they carry into the world. For parents considering what education should prepare our children for in a rapidly changing world, this has been one of the most meaningful reasons behind our choice of this school.

We were told about Carden Hall by a family who had three generations graduate from the school and…read morewe were convinced it was going to be a fit for our family too. It turned out to be better than we could have imagined. While I place a high value on the level of academics, the amount of care and instruction to develop the character and emotional IQ of our children at school is invaluable. To be confident that our children will leave Carden Hall with all sides of their being educated and enhanced is a blessing beyond what I expected.

Adam's Elementary…read more Don't ask Suzanne Sense to help with anything. My family/son really like this school. But as i said, dont Ask Suzanne Sense to do the extra mile for any student... Recently my son always brings a basketball to school that way more children can play without fighting for what basketballs the school offers. Not long ago April 2022 son was absent & left his ball in his class bin so others could play with. Upon returning the following day his ball was gone. Giving the children the benefit of doubt not stealing, we assumed his ball was put in the wrong 5th grade class bin. School ends at 3pm & since we had basketball practice that evening, he/my son really wanted to located his ball. At 3:15pm we went to office and explained to Suzanne Sense that it was very important we try locating his basketball and explained to her we think another may have simply returned basketball to wrong 5th grade class bin and we would really appreciate if he could go look. Well him going back into school grounds only after school had been out for 15 minutes was a Big No No, not sure why. We then pleaded with her to please go check and was only 100ft away, she refused. Why not sure, but apparently school Was already over as of 15 minutes ago... My son then asked ask "please i have practice tonight" Suzanne Sense them started questioning my son trying to confuse him as if he was mistaking, completely inappropriate. Fast forward she did not help, did not care, yet Servant to the children and parents that pay her salary, ok fine. Upon locating his ball a few days later, another child tries saying it's his and not my sons. Funny thing is, my sons name is written on the ball. Now this child starts following my son around claiming this is his ball, even though his name is all over the ball. End of story, one child is sticking with his story trying to steal my sons ball & my son has to defend himself and his property. This could have w fed up being a fight between two school mates when it could have been avoid days later if this woman was not lazy & cared more for the children. Just be aware, this woman does not care about being a civil servant nor the children or respect the parents. I called the www.nmusd.org and, well nothing. ssense@nmusd.us Thanks

This school is phenomenal. My son attended this school for two years (a 3 day program and then the…read more5 day program) and he fell in love with the school almost immediately. The teachers are invested in the program, the kids have an UNBELIEVABLE outdoor yard that is unrivaled here in Orange County. Trust me, take a tour and you will see the difference from the other schools in the area.

But the right amount in progress & I mentioned this to them via email, phone and texting with the directors and sent them my transcripts. They were aware but still brought me in for the interview and I thought awesome as a lot of schools allow for in progress units. Only to find out when I got there they brought me in for a potential position in the future because they liked my resume and phone interview. I had to sit through an hour interview knowing I wasn't getting the current job. I was NOT told this when asked to come in for an interview. The whole thing was weird energy between the assistant director and director and a waste of a 40 min drive and me taking a day off. The assistant director was incredibly warm and the main director was cold. I can't speak on the education etc.. of this school. But I did not appreciate my time being wasted for a "potential" position months away. As I was looking for and applied for current employment and should have been informed otherwise.

We see him using the simple structures that his teachers put in place to help him learn and grow (from his own learning folder, to using the 3 W's when faced with conflict on the playground, to scales in the class room to help him make better choices). As well, our new principal has picked up where our excellent last leader left off, building on the Wooden model and implementing some great measures to ensure "safety" in all of its broad applications. We have recommended Eastbluff to many friends and so appreciate the small town feel of the staff, campus and parents involved.

It's a small school than what we were used to and I love it for that. 6th grade is made up of two classes with about 21 kids in each class - I mean, unless you go to private school, what other public school would have classes of this size? The attention children get here is incredible. During 3rd grade back in LAUSD, my daughter was one of 46 kids in her "class" that oddly had two teachers at the helm but it was one class. Not confusing at all, and just imagine when those same 46 kids went online at the start of COVID. Nvm the children, I was getting cross eyed too with 48 little heads on the Zoom. Anyway, Eastbluff is the jam. Intimately sized, and we loved her teachers Mrs. McRae (5th) and will be sad to leave Mr. Lagerlof's class (6th) when she starts middle school in August. Mrs. Beck, the principal, is retiring and though we didn't have her for very long, she was lovely and attentive. Thank you Eastbluff Elementary for two years of great memories, not just for my daughter but for me too.

I wish I should have read the reviews about this school before paying registration fee to apply for…read moremy 5 years old son. This is not a good school when it comes to assessment tests ( Which not simply testing whether your kids can communicate back and forth or not) for a kindergarten level. I feel like I got scam, they should have made a video to talk about the assessment tests, warnings for the parents to consider. I don't think the kids will be happy learning anything here. This place is all about money and intense competitions. The era of AI will eliminate these corrupted educations, absolutely bring no values to the kids. Parents nowadays are too busy and think paying a lot means good results.

There is one teacher for every ten kids in the classroom, allowing for individual attention. Any behavioral problems are quickly addressed and resolved in a constructive manner that equips students with tools to handle future conflicts. I hate to admit this, but when I compare the way Pegasus first graders interact during free play to the way his public school friends interact, I see a dramatic difference. Pegasus kids are problem solvers; they calm conflicts and seek solutions. Maybe it's a selection bias at the admissions level, but in the end, who cares? I'm proud of my child on the playground and of what he has learned academically. Fingers crossed this continues in his future experiences.

He is happy, has made wonderful friends, and comes home every day excited about what he learned. The teachers are truly kind and caring, and the small class sizes allow them to get to know each child's personality and individual needs. We especially appreciate the screen-free environment. In a world where so many schools rely on tablets and laptops to teach math and reading, it's refreshing to see children learning directly from passionate teachers in person. We are so grateful to have found this special school and highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing, high-quality education for their child.

The staff & curriculum, coupled with core values to set a strong educational foundation, can be compared to what public school used to be in the 70s and 80s. There is no comparison to modern public or even private school these days, because Seashore would win by a landslide. My child has only attended Kindergarten so far but will continue until 8th grade, because I've witnessed first hand how the rest of the kids all operate on campus; for example, visiting a public school is like seeing little feral zombies running around, but the Seashore kids appear to possess critical thought naturally due to the customization for each child, paired with a screen free environment. It's unmatched and I wouldn't have my kids go anywhere else! (Not to mention, the Staff themselves and the parents and students are all like one big family because of the small class sizes!) 1000/10, would recommend to anyone who wishes to see their child grow into an intelligent, respectful, wise, and wonderful adult!!
