Had my daughter here. We finished preschool with Ms. Sanchez, and after we moved to a new school, our daughters new teacher was commenting on how advanced she is. Couldn't be more grateful for the HT Preschool team and in particular Ms. Sanchez. The absolute best. My Daughter has been attending HTP for almost a year. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and the teachers are super sweet. We started out on the potty tracker program since my daughter wasn't potty trained. She was only on it for a short period before we were able to grasp potty training. To be honest the potty tracker program was the stepping stone we needed to get her interested and trained. She has made lots of friends and enjoys being there. I also like that it's a small and very personable school. They do a lot of cute and fun little activities throughout the year that make school special and fun. This school is truly amazing and as a parent with safety being my #1 priority, my mind is always at ease knowing my child is safe and loved all day long. Both my 7 and 5 year old boys attended preschool at Harbor Trinity and they loved it. The staff is very friendly and caring. I toured a couple of preschools in the area when looking for a place for my son (who was about to turn 2 at the time), and I was sold on Harbor Trinity based on the safety measures they've adopted and the kindness that each staff member has for the students there. Each family is given a unique gate code for entry, helping to keep the kids safe while on school grounds. The teachers are very friendly and kind to everyone, always greeting with a smile and hello whenever they see parents and children. The academics are well-rounded, including the usual (language arts, math, science) as well as art, music, PE, and bible time. The kids are separated by classes, but all play together on the playground. Harbor Trinity has helped develop "the whole child". My son has been at HTP for two years now. He loves his friends and talks about school nonstop! My son was also recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, and the school worked with our family to figure out how we can manage his diabetes together. This staff is awesome, and I'm so thankful for their friendship and care toward my family. read more

Bringing my son here was the best thing I have ever done for him. He loves all of the teachers and staff, and has so much fun with his little friends. He is only 2 years old, and i cannot believe how much he knows. He knows how to count past 20, his ABCs, his shapes, colors and numbers, etc. The staff is always friendly, and I love the little events they have for the kids. Most importantly, its a very secure school and I feel like my son is very safe when he is there. OH! And it's affordable! Highly recommend. p.s. I went to the school to inquire about their preschool and daycare for my two boys. I went to office and no one was there. I announced "hello, anyone here?" After a couple of minutes, I went to the classroom across the hall and asked the employee if I could talk to someone about enrolling my boys. The employee used a walkie-talkie to call the manager to the office. The employee, whom didn't speak English well, said to wait a couple of minutes. So, I went back to the office and waited alone behind closed doors for at least 5-7 minutes...no one ever showed up! One might wonder if there were any confidential files in the cabinets and if they were even locked up. Lack of response raised huge red flags in my book...I was out of there. HTP... This preschool has been so instrumental in my daughter's character development. The best decision I've ever made for my daughter was to get her to go to this school for PreK. Every single teacher and staff member in this school is exceptional! I am one meticulous mother and when it comes to my daughter I want nothing but the best. When my daughter's dad and I came in last May 2016 to check out the facility, we were truly impressed and made our decision right then and there to enroll our precious little one to make sure we secured her spot. Restrooms are clean and well kept. Classrooms are well decorated and always clean. Definitely very homey and if I were a student I wouldn't want to stay in any other room. I take my daughter to school and she gets welcomed by the class teacher very warmly. When I pick her up I know I get to see a child who had a great time at school. She would brag about it too! The whole campus is well secured. Everyone here is just so caring and loving and you know your child is taken care of no matter what. My little one learned a lot more about Jesus as Christianity is the core of their curriculum. It is just what exactly we were looking for. As a parent, you can be assured that your child is in good hands if you take them to this spot. I wouldn't recommend any other preschool in this area but this one. I've had mixed experiences with this preschool that I sent both my son and daughter to. I feel like most of the parents I've talked to felt the same way. The range of teachers is significant. My son's last teacher, mrs shaw was amazing and fabulous. Truly exceptional- she loved the kids, had great energy, and worked with them individually. I mean I've never met a teacher like her. The other teachers were more on the unstructured and not as responsive side that we had. we had a total of 6 different teachers for just two kids so a lot of teacher changes. I didn't really agree with the response to many of my concerns I brought up at times and to be honest, my son had one really damaging experience with kids for a long time. We ended up getting a speech therapist who said his issue with stuttering is more behavioral and due to non positive experiences socially. It happened after that time period and he still has trouble interacting with kids- he had a ton of friends before. It wasn't until mrs shaw that it got better. When I brought it up to the office it seemed they cared more about the way I brought up the situation (with my son present and asking for a room change) and fixing my sons attitude to not wanting to go to school than the situation was (bullying by some kids). I wish I insisted and had his room changed because he really had a tough year. On the plus side good solid programs. My son was way ahead by the time he started kindergarten. Good activities and summer school was fun for kids too. So all in all, mixed and if I could have done it different I would have. We took my daughter out and she is in a new school and we love it. Harbor Trinity is a great preschool!! I am a single parent and before my son went to school here he was with my mom (his grandmother) full time while I was at work. It's a HUGE step to take your son/daughter out of their safe haven and entrust your kid to complete strangers. The fact that this preschool is a Christian based center was something very important to me as well. The teachers take the time to pray for the students and ask for prayer requests not only from the students but from the parents as well and it was confidential. All the classrooms that I visited where always clean and organized even after the children would work on projects. The preschool offers 2 snacks per day and the kids bring their own lunches. Of course its easier for a parent to have the facility provide the meals but honestly every child is picky in what they like to eat so I know that whatever I provide my son for lunch he will eat without any issues. My son has made lots of friends at his school and I have made friends with some of the mom's as well! It's the best decision I made for my son! He first started going to this school when he was a 3 year old quiet shy boy, now he's matured and is outspoken and is ready to go to Kindergarten. I thank God for the director and teachers and teachers aides at this school. They all have a loving caring heart for kids. I definitely did my homework before deciding that Harbor Trinity is the best fit for my son and me. I live in Santa Ana and work in Newport Beach. I used google and searched for preschools that were anywhere near our home and my work and that would fit within my budget and met my expectations. I looked at the Montessori's in Fountain Valley, well-known day cares in Fountain Valley and Santa Ana, called and researched preschools in FV and SA. I had a list of what I was looking for in every school that I visited. I would take time off work to do impromptu visits because I felt that is when you actually see how the director, teachers and students interact. I spent half days at certain places and took mental notes and once I got into my car I would write down how I felt in that particular school how I observed the kids and the teachers as well. I even went on the California's website - community care licensing facility search to see how many complaints, citations, and inspections took place at the daycare facility. Harbor Trinity definitely exceeded my expectations. I visited their location on 3 different occasions. EVERY single time I went I would walk by the different classrooms and see the children attentive. The teachers did not feel overwhelmed at all they were speaking in a normal tone to the children. ALL the teachers speak good English. This school definitely has structure and that's what my son was used to with his grandmother. My mother spoke to him like a young adult and has a very soft and sweet tone to her voice so I was worried that teachers would use a higher pitch tone because they would have to speak above other children. Not the case at Harbor Trinity Preschool! All the teachers have a soft tone to them and they speak well to the students. I have not seen any of the students misbehave or hit any other kids. I would always see the kids playing well with each other. I remember on one of my impromptu visits to the school I saw a teacher reading a book to all the students and the students were very attentive. I have taken my son to a day care for back up through my work and I remember some students would sit in a circle listening to story time while other students would wonder off and play and not listen to the teacher. Harbor Trinity teachers work and communicate well with each other, you can definitely sense that the teachers enjoy what they do and respect each other. It truly is an amazing preschool. Harbor Trinity has been a HUGE part of our family for the past 5 years!! The staff, families and children that we have encountered while both our girls attended the school, all have a warm place in my heart! Our youngest will join our oldest in elementary school this fall which means no more Harbor Trinity for us. From wonderful Spring Sings to Thankful Thanksgiving Day Feasts and fabulous Christmas celebrations...We have been blessed by this school in more ways than I can explain. They combine a wonderful amount of hands on teaching while demonstrating God's love...what more could a family want? I have recommended this school to anyone who asks for a great preschool!!! read more

Sadly, I have to give this preschool 1 star. My grandson was in the 3 year old class. It's not because the teachers weren't terrific. The problem was the director (Jennifer Davidson). I emailed her concerns I had about the staff not wearing face-coverings around the children in the classroom. She never emailed me back. She did however respond a couple days later, to my daughter. They talked and Jennifer agreed that she "Did not want to die on that hill" and said there would be changes on Monday. Monday, we could see no changes at all. When my daughter finally heard back from Jennifer two more days after my daughter emailed her about seeing no changes, Jennifer said the teachers would not be mandated to wear face coverings around the children. All of the other preschools we've contacted do have this mandate, thankfully so it's not been hard to find another preschool with higher standards. So between the delayed responses from the director, coupled with no teacher mandate for face-coverings in the classroom, give it one star. Since it's a possible life-threatening risk they are taking, I would give no stars if that was an option. read more

My son has been attending this preschool for the past two years. My favorite thing about the school is the extremely low turnover of the staff. All of the teachers have been there for many years and none of the teachers have left since we started. This is a great thing because my son is able to get to know all of the teachers, making transitions from one year to the next much smoother. I do hope this continues! The facilities are great and we have found the teachers to be very kind and sensitive to the kid's needs. All of the teachers speak excellent english and communicate very clearly. There are some aides that watch the kids after naptime before pickup time that are not native speakers, but I've never used that as a litmus test to how well they can care for children. The academics are good and this is a christian based school, which was important to us. The price of the preschool is reasonable with flexible schedules if you don't need your little one there every day or all day. Yes, I also find that there is not someone ALWAYS in the office, they are busy taking care of the kids and don't employ extra staff just to sit in the office (a cost savings for parents!). I know they have been considering putting in a more secure gate so that people can't just drop into the office, and I think that would be a good thing if money allows. Overall we are very happy with this preschool and plan to send our younger child there as soon as he is old enough. read more

My granddaughter has been going to preschool here for two years. She's an only child, so a primary reason for having her enroll was to give her the opportunity to learn to play with & share with other children, which she has done beautifully (the children here are all such nice kids). In the meantime she has learned so many things, like her letters and the sounds of each. In fact, she is now reading "beginning reader" books. The kids have lots of hands on experience (using scissors, drawing, learning to write their letters, water play, crafts, and the list goes on). Plus they have a lot of experiences brought in (snow, animals, firetruck, etc.) But what most impresses me is the staff, who are all amazing. From the director (Jennifer), the teachers, all the way down to the aids they are really kind and patient with the children. I just can't say enough good things. This has been a wonderful introduction to learning for my granddaughter. read more
