Mild wings, but why is there garlic on them?

Visiting family in Ormond and we were brought here for dinner. 6 of us got seated right away. I quickly read reviews and thought, why not. I ordered the last order of wings, 10/serving, I asked how hot is the hot sauce and I chose to go mild tonight. They had almost a non-existent heat to them. But why do they put garlic pieces on them? Next would be the spicy chicken tenders and they did not disappoint. I'm guessing Frank's Red Hot as the sauce. Yummy. Next, the fried onion rings were crunchy and a big portion. Dinner was a toss up. The spaghetti and meatballs seemed like frozen meatballs. The Italian trio: lasagna, chicken parm and a manicotti was ok. The red sauce was nothing to write home about. My wife loved the cheese ravioli dish....but the worst plate was the chicken Alfredo. Covered in a heavy sauce and it was gritty...like eating Beach sand gritty. One bite and that was that. Just yucky. Her words,"worst meal I ever had.". (the waitress saw she didn't even touch it and did remove it from the bill.) She offered anything as a replacement but nah...I'll pass. So, for us, this establishment was just ok. Can't say I'll return during next visit.

If I could give 3 and a half stars I would. This was my first visit here. The service was great. My drink was never empty and the order was done just as we requested. My aunt who lives here raved about this place so we had to try it. The pizza crust was a good hand tossed dough with just the right amount of crispiness to it. The sauce was just right it wasn't too sweet or salty. The toppings could have been a little bit more generous but they were good. The place was about half full tonight. Like any recently opened restaurant it has its hiccup. This location has only been open for about two months but I think it is working very well for a fledgling restaurant. The garlic bread was good but nothing special but the garlic knots was excellent. If I had a hankering for pizza I would come bake here again and I would try some of the other menu items they offer.

My first time visiting here with friends. Staff was very nice and friendly, although I did ask for lemons more than once WHICH I didn't receive until I was almost done with the meal. but I understand the waitress was super busy...but still....I'm a nurse (do you think if I don't bring something my patient wants I won't hear about it) Our group ordered everything from Pizza to Veal Parmigiana no complaints everything tasted great and the fun atmosphere with the celebrities pictures on the walls.......Overall, we had a great time before going to the Peabody to see Lewis Black (read my review and see what I thought of the Peabody Oh Lawdy) the food was amazing and staff were friendly and great. Overall BOOM=HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*****I will be visiting and eating here again.

Pinwheels shrunk to about half the size they were prior to closing in O.B. a few years ago and $3.00 more now. Quite disappointing.

While the patio is nicely designed and has comfy wicker chairs, the parking lot traffic does take a bit from the ambiance. But hey, how often can I dine outside in Florida without dying of heat or mosquitos or drowning in a downpour. They had a ton of delicious specials going but I like to try places for the first time based on my favorite dishes. However, I can't pass up octopus carpaccio and while it was delicious, the slices stuck to the plate which the waiter attributed to being outside where it warmed up. Next time, calamari for sure! I got the fettuccine bolognese as I'm still chasing a sauce that isn't just ground beef added to marinara. I'm happy to say it's the best bolognaise I've found in Central Florida! Their pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was rich and not overly tomatoey or sweet like most places. It also was fully tossed so it clung to the noodles. Dad was in a pizza mood but was definitely temped by the veal chop special. He ended up with the all in pie and I knew it was a winner when he ate the crust. He's very picky about crust and this hit the mark on texture and taste! So yes, the love this group has for Don Giovanni is real and if you haven't tried it I definitely recommend it!

When we walked in very little seating if you're planning on eating there. Our server was very friendly and they do seem to have a lot of regular customers that come in to take home orders. We ordered a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon wine and a large pizza with sausage, pepperoni and onions. Our pizza was brought out and the pizza looked good but after put on our plates it really didn't look like it had any sauce on it. The pizza was ok, really could have used more sauce and I'm not a sauce person. Just a FYI every bottle of wine is 29.99 regardless of what kind. Definitely not a date night place to go but if you want a takeout pizza you probably would like.

The prices are reasonable and the place is small and intimate but also cute. The young lady who took our order was very pleasant and welcoming. We ordered a slice, mozzarella sticks and graphic knots to try a little of everything. The mozzarella sticks were good, the slices were also good but the garlic knots were the hit. The perfect blend of garlic and butter. Overall it was the perfect spot for a quick bite to eat and fuel fill up. Nice spot.
