When the food was ready they brought it to me. I enjoyed the stuffed shells, a salad, bread and garlic knots. Everything was tasty and fresh. They get their bread from Conshohocken. Padrinos has been a family favorite my entire life! As a kid I walked there from my mom's shop, the family is incredibly nice and the food is amazing!!!!!! I luckily now live locally and am able to frequent again as an adult. This pizza is my favorite in the area, but I also love their salads, pasta and the Stromboli's are TOP NOTCH!!! My boyfriend and I wanted to get a pizza tonight. Since it's a Monday, most of the pizza places in our area are closed. I remembered that Padrino's was on my way home from work, so I decided to give them a call. They were open! I had heard good things about them, so I was excited to try their pizza. They did not disappoint! They make an excellent plain pizza!! The cheese to sauce ratio was perfect, and the crust was both crispy and chewy. It was ready in 15 minutes too, just like they promised. I spoke with the owner, and he was really nice. The place itself is small and cute, so you can definitely sit and eat if you wanted to. It was very clean and tidy. Stromboli was decent. Tasty side sauce, oily crust, good ratio of cheese and pepperoni filling. It hit the spot before a night hike owl prowl at Norristown Farm Park, and that was all it needed to do. My kid's chicken fingers were not tasty, crust left a bitter taste in your mouth (like buttermilk which to me, is vile), and the fries are very cheap quality batter dipped junk that taste like "potato flavor substance". The trend used to be the hand cut real potatoes, now this nonsense is like the Fentanyl of fries. But package it up like it's a "foodie" fad and voila, cope with inflation by selling crap to masses. So I recently learned that ownership changed after picking up my food. I have been going to Padrinos for years. I typically get the steak Stromboli. The dough was good but there was not much meat. Lots and lots of cheese, which is a huge difference than how the prior owners used to make it. I did order the marinara sauce and meat balls which we did enjoy. I also ordered the hot wings, which were meaty but they were very mild in spice. I do hope it gets better. read more

Had dinner here and was disappointed. We ordered pasta meals , which comes with a salad. I watched from our table, as the worker made our salads with his bare hands. He literally picked up the salad With his bare hands and proceeded to spread it Over the plates. He then picked up the Toppings, Again barehanded, and spread those around the plates. (Against FDA) Needless to say, the salads were not eaten. Our pasta dishes were swimming in sauce-way too much sauce and certainly not enough pasta. I usually start my weekend at the Moon down the street to drink every Friday and on the way home pick up El Padrino and crush the whole pizza. We tried the Sicilian pizza and Caesar salad twice, thinking the First time was just an off night..... unfortunately we were very disappointed both times! If the people that run this place won't make you fall in love with it and then the food definitely will. I haven't had a bite of food from here that wasn't delicious. From the pasta dishes to the pizza wings cheesesteaks and salads, it's always so good! Everything is made fresh with quality ingredients and full of flavor. We grab food about twice a week from Padrino's, and it is nearly always perfect. Their neopolitan-crust pizza is great with a thin, chewy crust and great sauce, but I also really love their thick, fluffy sicilian pizza. Can't go wrong either way. On top of this, their sandwich offerings are all super solid (their "Sicilian Zep" is my absolute favorite version of the zep). The garlic knots are also better here than any other pizza joint I've been to... seriously, I don't know how they get them so perfectly airy and garlicky. Just get some! read more
