I only ever go here in the afternoon. it's usually pretty quiet then, not much going on but they know how to poor a Guinness! I wish they had some kind of food here. Would give 5 stars but as a pool player the tables and stick were not so great and they raised prices to $1.50 per game. The most I've ever seen in this town. Not too much to say about this place they played 90s music after 10 on Saturday. Which I am totally about. The drinks were reasonably priced. I hate that smoking is allowed inside especially when they have an outside patio. It's a pretty small bar so it got pretty packed pretty quickly. Thankful we got there before ten and we got a spot outside away from the smoke inside. This is not my typical hang out but it's hey when your in a small town you do as the locals do and go to the local watering hole as it were. So if your ever in north port or Port Charlotte and just want to grab a beer this is an ok spot to do so. You can also watch sports on several TVs. read more

Terrible. After spending an evening there, they refused to let us use the restroom, stating that they're closed even though there were several people still in the bar.I stated how messed up that was and they insulted my girl and said, I quote " we don't care if you don't bring a girl with a 12 year old body" Those rude pieces of sh@t will never get any business from me again. read more

Paddy wagon is now SMOKE-FREE. Great place for a beer, drink, shot, whatever floats your boat; all at a reasonable price while watching a game. Service is good, friendly bartenders and they have like 10 or more big screen TV's with the NFL and MLB packages. read more

Good beer selection and very friendly staff. Customer base leaves something to be desired, however. Because this place does not serve food, they allow smoking indoors (which could be a pro for some), which has infused itself into the woodwork and will latch upon you within a few minutes of being inside. A somewhat easy way to avoid this is to take your drink to one of the 4 tables out front. The thick air of smoke is, for me, a big strike against this place, but not such that you should not at least give it a go. read more

The atmosphere here is a little hit or miss. It is a younger crowd than you'll find a lot of places though. It is fun to play darts or foosball or cornhole, there's also pool. The prices are a little high, but if you sign up for their texts you get a buy one get one free text once each week. Some of the bartenders are really nice and some are pretty apathetic. Nice place, wide variety of sports on many quality screens, YUGE selection of cold beer and many from the quality local micro breweries that have popped up in the last few years, and VERY friendly bartenders (if you also act friendly and civil). PWIP is a straight forward friendly place that does not serve food. And allows smoking. I don't smoke, but the atmosphere has never been a problem for me. Good solid local bar for a cold beer, company, and sports. If this isn't to your likeing, go somewhere else. The rest of us will enjoy ourselves just fine here. read more

Just moved down here, we've had some great nights at the bar with no problem. Tonight some dude got us kicked out by the owner because the guy got in the middle of the conversation and tried to pick a fight for no reason other than he thought it was about him. happened within 20 minutes of us being there and the situation could have been handled a lot better. read more

This place is a great bar. Craft beer on tap and it becomes a night club at night on Fridays and Saturdays. The beer selection is great and always changing. They also have guinesse on tap of course. read more

Ducked in for a cold drink and to sit a spell. I run Amplification, Inc. and I routinely use hospitality venues as a virtual office. This place presented itself as the most convenient location at the time. My visit was unremarkable. I did not try the food and I shall update my review once I do. Good place for a few beers, pool and some darts. Bartenders have always been pleasant and quick to pour you another beer.

I will be in the middle for my review and I will base my review only on what happened to me when I " attempted " to have a beer here. ( btw, this is my lady friends account ) I'm an older gentleman that lives basically right behind this establishment. So, when I heard a new bar was opening closeby I thought great.. I can go have a cold one and basically ride my bicycle or walk there.. So after being lazy all day in the yard and around the house pretty much all day, I hopped on my bicycle around 3PM and rode the 300 feet on over to this good looking Irish pub with nice wide front door and airy atmosphere and took a seat at the bar... I asked about beer pricing... $2.75 for a draft and or $3.00 for a bottle. ( Didnt like the pricing ) and those were happy hour prices the bartender told me. I said, to myself - ahh, I'll drink a beer and take in the place for 20 minutes.. So I ordered a Coors Light bottle.. But, thats when the bar-maid stopped me and told me about the pub rule where No Tank-TOPS Allowed. She was nice enough and offered me a shirt of which I declined.. I left, got on my bicycle and did the 2 mile ride to Willies where I paid $1.50 a draft and they had no problem with my tank-top.. What can I say? I tried.. The place is really nice looking inside and really roomy.. The Bar is long and stained nicely in a dark chest-nut.. There are booths and pool-tables / darts there.. Maybe, I'll wear a collared shirt next time, but I still dont like the fact that there is no $1.50 or even $2.00 draft special... Just my 2 cents from a retired guy read more

I enjoy coming here except the bartender with long brown curly/wavy hair. She has the worst attitude. I can never get her to smile and she seems to be really sweet to those she knows. She doesn't even make eye contact with me when asking what I want to drink. She's very rude. read more

BEST BAR IN TOWN, BY FAR! The super friendly and efficient Team there, makes everyone feel welcome and ensures a fun time. Jessica, Heather, Amber, Johnny and Dan are such an amazing group of people. We try to get up there at least once during their shifts, we even go on Sunday to watch football, even if our games are televised. I feel that it is a fun sports bar, with a great clientele! My husband and I went for the first time to this establishment. I will say they have reasonable prices, two pool tables and a DJ. The music was great the atmosphere was like a mini night club after 10pm. We were able to dance which is great. Bar tending was okay as there are differences between who attends you. The only reason why I am giving a 3 star is the air from all the smoking is intoxicating. If you are a smoker than I am sure you would give it 4 or 5 stars. read more

Honestly I think this bar is great. The bartender is attentive and kind. Never a wait on drinks and the music was superb. 90's all day. If you're worried about the cigarette smoke, on the day went the fans were on and doors open, I imagine you would get the same treatment considering there was a downpour when we were there. The bar is new and clean and I had a great time there! Now I am from NY so to me the pricing was pretty darn good. They have 2 pool tables, darts, they have a great touch screen "jukebox" i guess you can call it. Aside from the L not working on the key paid it was stocked with great music. The drinks were perfect! The bartenders we nice and friendly. It was truly a great atmosphere. It brought me back to some of the nice bars in Manhattan with a mix of the small dive pubs in Brooklyn both of which i loved. So it was a nice feel and the fact that i can walk to it from my house really helps! Love it i definitely recommend checking it out! read more

Had a great time there. No trouble and didn't feel I was being stared down like other local bars. Great music and the smoke eaters took care of most the cigarette smoke. All in all I would frequent this place. read more
