I wouldn't say they really looked polished, nor even received new shoe strings. The new soles were not trimmed as perfectly as i would have liked. The shoes also were not ready when promised so i had to come back. Well not a big deal, i like to see small businesses like this be busy. But they have to be affordable. Easy parking on Frontage Road along the 111 in Palm Desert. Maybe we need more cobblers in the desert? But the shocker for me was the price: $84 plus tax. I never saw prices posted or a price list, so i should have asked. My fault. Overall i would go back if there were not any other cobbler options in the desert.

I love this purse and didn't watch to scrap it, so I was desperate to see if someone could fix it. Here getting my purse fixed and properly was super easy! I don't know if she doesn't know what she is doing or just doesn't care. My Jeans were a mess. Instead of cutting pieces from the extra jeans I brought for the patches, she used the whole front part of the leg and doubled the fabric with shotty stitching and puckers and sewing on top of areas that didn't need to be sewn. Seriously poor work. I started tearing out the double layers of denim and saw for some reason she took out the whole side seam of the Jean. My fabulous vintage jeans are such a mess now. I am going to have to take them elsewhere! I could have done a better job with a toy singer without any experience!!

Months went by apparently the guy went into the hospital and I was patient and I waited a few more months for my bags. My mom paid for them, picked them up and left without inspecting them. When I picked up the bags her, they were smashed flat as if he had put something heavy on top of them and just left them there the broken zipper was not fixed. In fact it was just still hanging there and was not removed. I will give him a sliver of He probably put $.50 worth of shoe polish on the leather. However, my purses are in worse condition than when I off. At this point, I don't know how they will ever regain their shape. Do not use this guy he clearly has no idea how to refurbish a handbag. I could not be more disappointed. I paid $125 for this so-called repair now I'm less scrambling for someone who can actually my handbags. Do not take anything to this guy.

I used Yelp to locate a repair shop. And I saw it was in the exact shopping center where I was. So I went over to see if they could help me. I walked in and I could hear someone working on the other side of the curtain. A young man came out to assist me. I told him about my broken zipper on the purse. He disappeared behind the curtain and in about 2 minutes he came back out with my zipper fixed. He offered it free of charge. But I was so blown away by his service that I insisted on paying for his conciliation and quick recovery of my broken purse.
