I didn't think I would buy this beautifully refurbished bike that day, but after chatting with Cesar it became clear that doing business with him would be a very positive experience. I was right! He went out of his way to make sure the bike fit me perfectly by ordering additional parts to extend the head stem and raise the seat. He kept me informed about when it would be ready and went out of his way to earn my business. While his bike shop is not geographically convenient to me, after this experience, I would travel the extra mile(s) to San Anselmo to do business with Caesar again -- in a New York minute! I had never been to Caesar's but decided to try it out since I was in a bit of a pinch. I arrived as the shop was opening, and Caesar graciously put my bike on his stand and fixed it as I waited. The repair included tapping a bolt hole I had damaged on the spider. I like establishing a relationship with a shop, and I used to go to Tony Tom at Bicycle Odyssey. Caesar's technical ability and friendliness really won me over as a customer and I'll take my bikes to him from now on.

It was a gorgeous warm Saturday and we thought the chances of actually getting a fix or replacement were very slim. They answered the phone, listened to the issue and had us come on in. Figured out a solution, left the bike there for about 90 minutes while we had lunch down the street, and shortly thereafter I was enjoying my new and upgraded brakes! Although a Trek store, they do not discriminate other makes lol... Friendly, plenty to do but not hurried with us, beautiful clean shop full of new bikes including electric hybrids. This will be our go to shop whenever visiting the area again!

We were able to walk in and rent two mountain bikes for a day which totaled about $210. They luckily had our sizes but I would definitely call ahead to be sure. They definitely have some pricy stuff but everything here seems super high quality. They also had a pretty good sale (25-33% off) going on while we were there! I know some locations also have secondhand sections. Everyone I talked to was super helpful and willing to help me out. Go visit them!

I took it to Sports Basement hoping that Sam was working and he was! He greeted me by name and asked how he could help. I explained my situation and he noted that they were pretty booked out but he would try to get it in because he knows the bike is used on the weekends. He called me 30min later letting me know that one of my spokes was broken and I agreed to the much needed repair. I got a text an hour later saying the bike was ready. I was expecting to pay $100 or more for the repairs when I came in Saturday morning, but was pleasantly surprised on how reasonable the total was. Sam was there again to explain what he found and adjusted. Incredible customer service!
