The rice is bland plain white rice(no lime, cilantro, not even salt is perceived), the beans don't taste seasoned with anything either(no onion, cumin, garlic, paprika, or even salt you can taste), the pickled onions are a nice touch but there needs to be more of them to compensate for everything else lacking, and the supposed poblano sauce doesn't stand out at all(just acts as a moistener). The salsa is fine, nothing special(tastes like store bought). The chips are reminiscent of oversized Lunchables nacho chips, not necessary, if they were made in house they would be better. The hibiskey sour is really good though! I might come here for mixed drinks and skip the food. My Husband is an omnivore and feels the same about what he has ordered here as well, so not exactly a fluke with that one menu item.
