We have nothing but good things to say about Pack Leader Plus! Our dog was with Pack Leader Plus for 2 years and had a wonderful experience. We have a very high energy hound who always came home exhausted. We used the doggy day care, the pet taxi, and the boarding services. Everyday our dog would start looking out the window and wagging his tail waiting to get picked up. The boarding services were also great. Because of our jobs, we had to do lots of last minute boarding and were always accommodated. Sometimes we had to ask for boarding services the day of, or leave town and not know what our exact return date was, but we were still always taken care of. We had nothing but positive experiences with Pack Leader Plus. Good prices, trustworthy people, and 100% reliable. I would absolutely recommend this business looking for someone to take care of their four legged friend. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Brooke and Pack Leader Plus. She is always willing to help out whenever needed, even on short notice and under special circumstances. Our adopted rescue dog adores her, which makes us feel great about leaving him in her care. Not everyone can handle the extra attention that rescue dogs often need, and she certainly "gets" him. The fuzzy cams she sends provide that extra peace of mind that any dog parent would appreciate. I know that my boy is in good hands when I can see the way she interacts with him when I am not there. She lets us know upfront what the charges for service will be, and has always been professional and trustworthy. Peace of mind is often hard to come by, but Brooke certainly provides that every time she cares for our dog. read more

I agree with Morgan in her post and am saddened by the lack of professionalism in Pack Leader Plus' response. Pedestrians are supposed to walk opposing traffic. I live in the same neighborhood and have seen this driver run through the stop sign many times. I am happy to sit on the corner and video tape this every day to ensure you that this is not fabricated. I would not recommend this company to anyone, the pet taxi driver drives way too fast in neighborhoods with pedestrians. One of the drivers came within inches of hitting me and my 2 children. Upon contacting the company, the owner was extremely unprofessional. He yelled at me and told me it was my fault...(I was pushing a stroller and as close to the outer edge of the street as possible. There was no sidewalk) My neighbors have also experienced the same issue and called to complain. There has been no attempt to improve their pet taxi driving throughout our neighborhood. read more

Our beagle mix Louie was a rescue and gets very excited around other dogs.. This made it difficult to walk him in our neighborhood since he would want to stop at every dog to sniff. We called Brooke to have her evaluate his behavior. After Louie's initial introduction to Brooke and her pack of friendly dogs, Louie was starting to learn the polite way to say hello. We decided to take him to doggy daycare so he could run around & expend all his energy and it went great! The best part was that Brooke took the time to explain what his behavior was during the day and what he might need to work on when he comes home. The fuzzy cam where I can see my dog playing with the pack throughout the day is also an added benefit. Louie came home exhausted and was so tired from playing all day! The cost of the daycare is reasonable, especially with the included taxi service. Brooke was very accommodating on setting up a time that worked for me & my schedule. I LOVE them!! We have a very large 7 year old dog, she used to swim and go on runs with me when she was younger & gets to do ALL of it at Pack Leader Plus!! She's an indoor dog now and has never been crated, so when I saw they let the dogs be dogs and play in their large fenced in area and go for swims in their pond and walks around their property I immediately felt at ease and she has a BLAST because i know she feels its her home away from home! I love seeing the little videos they email when she stays with them. Brooke and Tom are very sweet, caring people who truly care for everyone's dog like their own which can be hard to find nowadays! read more

Brooke Breer the owner of Pack Leader Plus is a liar. Feel free to skip to my pros and cons below if you do not want to read the long review. Brooke agreed to walk my dog from Tuesday to Friday last week as part of her In Home Pet Sitting with Walking Package . According to her web-site and according to our conversation, the price is $25 for 30 minutes of walking the dog. I didn t need the additional services listed in the In Home Pet Sitting with Walking Package just the walking service for the entire week that we verbally agreed to. I was not feeling well on Tuesday morning, I called in sick and stayed home to sleep. Brooke didn t know I was home...she assumed the house was empty. Brooke did show up to walk my dog when she said she would. However, she only walked him for 4 minutes...enough to take a video that she emailed me that day! Then I receive a text message five minutes after she leaves and collects the pay check for the week, stating the following, We walked for about 20 minutes. I soon called her asking her why she lied to me. She admitted her mistake and apologized with several excuses, one being that she was afraid my dog s scar would open as it was located in the neck area where the collar was wrapped and he s a puller and because it was too hot outside (not impossible to do at 8:20 am). It was a hot day and he does have a scar. However, she had been with my dog the day before and has taken care of my dog for 2 years now at her Doggie Day Care so she knows him and his pulling tendencies. She knew the type of weather we would have on Tuesday morning and she knew the kind of condition my dog was in. She offered to walk him at 10:30 am to make it up to me but only because I had caught her lying...she never once offered go give me my money back. What I didn t understand is that it was only going to be hotter and a 30 minute or 20 minute walk was not going to happen especially if it didn t happen 2 hours before. PROS: Brooke was gracious and flexible when my baby was born nearly 4 months ago and collected my dog upon my text message from the hospital (without getting paid first) and brought him back upon our return (and paid her then). She taught us and our dog how to behave around the baby and about dog-baby boundaries which I appreciate. Also, my dog used to love going to her day care which I now feel bad that she deceived me and we won t be using her services any longer. CONS: She is so money hungry she nickel and dimes you. Not sure she does what she advertises. The extra $5 a day for a 30 minute pack/walk...whose to say she only walks them for 5 minutes, enough to get a video in her fuzzy cam and email it to her customers.. Her actions versus what her website state are in conflict also: The Complimentary Pet Transportation in her Pet Taxi Service. Not so. She is now charging $5 each way. Willing to pay a business variable costs but why is she falsely advertising? BEWARE of what she claims to do and what she advertises versus what she actually does. Up until a year ago, she used to charge per night in her Doggie DayCare (as other hotels do...human and dog). Now she charges per day even if on check-out the dog is only with her until 9am, she ll charge you for the entire day. read more

Pack Leader Taxi picks up a neighbor dog on our street in the morning when children are walking to school. For quite some time, she has been driving entirely too fast on a slow residential street with many children walking to school. I called the # today and said "this is a friendly phone call, I just wanted to let you know....". The person representing Pack Leader Plus proceeded that he just wanted to let ME know, in a very rude tone, that he has been told by this driver that kids walk in the middle of the street and don't move out of the way. When I again told him it was a friendly phone call and although I cannot control how kids walk to school, it is not safe and she is above the speed limit. He was rude and ended the phone call. I am appalled by the customer service. It truly is not safe. She will be most sorry if she hits a child, whether they are obeying traffic or not. Above the speed limit is not justified anyway. I would have been satisified if he had just said it was noted and he would tell her to slow down. It is a 1/4 mile long street, going slow will not change her timeline for sure. read more
