I left a Google review and their reply was 100% inaccurate as far as what they offered me…read more it also did not address the fact that they declined seeing my actively dying 15 year old dog but another local clinic took him right in-nor does their reply address the fact that TWO of their vets misdiagnosed another of my dogs even after I specifically asked if she had cancer. They both said no. She did have a very aggressive thoracic carcinoma. On the day of the last straw-yes I had been in the day before. I refilled the Cerenia RX that was already on "file" and asked about which of two foods I should try. They didn't come up with the answer themselves. And as far as the bloodwork option--I was told I could bring her in for a blood draw but no results would be provided until they got me in 4 days later. AND the two options for Friday-Hunt misdiagnosed my cat years ago and Dr Jung jumps the gun and Dr Sara often disagrees with her diagnosis if you get Sara for a second opinion. it's happened twice with my grand dog. so...........get your facts straight before you post false replies to my Google review!!!!! my dogs will be SO MUCH better off without you all and your attitudes. there are great options in town and you all aren't one of them.

I have been volunteering over a year now and have been able to be part of many FURever happy endings. I see some negative reviews on here and wanted to speak up... I ask that you take a moment and walk a day in our shoes... no 1 person is perfect AND all of us are donating our time and sources to be here, with 1 mission in mind- to help find homes for as may dogs as possible. We pride ourselves in the love and care we provide each dog that comes to Dirks. We get to know their personalities and spend a lot of time determining what type of home would best suit them. It is NOT one person who decides a dogs adoption... it's a collaborative effort. Our goal is to find the BEST fit so they are not returned or repeat being let down. We work hard to provide all the snuggles, care, love, training they need and sometimes it's exhausting, messy, not fun BUT 100% worth the efforts. :) It brings me so much joy to know I am doing my part in a small way to help advocate for dogs who are not able to do so on their own. There are so many stories I could share on the many dogs who have touched my heart... I guess my favorite is getting the opportunity to be part of a rescue mission where several of us drove over 5 hours in the snow to rescue a litter of 8 month old goldens who had been kept in a barn and never let out. We had to carry them out as they were petrified; they had NEVER been out of their pen. We all worked together to get them the care they needed and ready for adoption. I even got to name one of them. They are all now adopted in amazing homes getting the life they deserve! I got to be part of something BIG... saving a dogs life! Pretty cool feeling. I am thankful for all those who have gone before me to make Dirks what it is today... I LOVE being part of this mission.

Just wanted to take a minute and write a message to let everybody know how great the No. 2 Crew is!…read moreFirst of all to have a weekly cleanup with two big dogs is such a treat. The amount of stress that it alleviates for me is invaluable. If you're hesitating making the investment in your sanity... Don't wait and just do it! There's nothing better than coming home at the end of the week to a clean yard... Only to have the dogs mess it up again! ... But not to worry because the Crew will be back to clean it all up. Before, when we tried to manage it on our own it was impossible... If we had a busy week we would get behind and that would make for a terrible next week, not to mention in the summer when it's hot . The last thing you want is your yard not clean when you have dogs. The company is reliable, their messaging and alert system through text is awesome... You always know what they're up to and when they're done! I love that when we became a customer we had so many options on how to customize the cleanup. One of my dogs loves to use the driveway as his bathroom... Our last service did not pick up off the driveway and that was always annoying, but not anymore. I was able to customize the cleanup area, the frequency and it has been a great experience and a game changer for our busy family. Thank you No. 2 Crew for helping me with such a dirty job!
