First off, if there was a way to give this zero stars, I would.
There are many problems that we have had with the owner of West Georgia Mini Warehouses, as there are many, MANY, instances of false advertising with West Georgia Mini Warehouses.
First off, the advertisements and signage for the West Georgia Mini Warehouses claim that there are security cameras on the premises, something that we had asked the owner many times about prior to our renting one of their storage units, and were told by several of their employees that there is security cameras monitoring the facility 24/7/365, which has proven to be false. There are a great many signs inside and out of the storage lot that claim that there are cameras everywhere, which is simply not true.
Second, the owner claims that the place is secure and that the gates are locked up after-hours, something that is also not true, one of the entrance gates has been left open for so long that it will not shut, and the grass has grown tall around it, something that started after we moved our stuff in.
When our storage unit was broken into, the owner lied to us and claimed that we were "the very first" people to have been stolen from since he opened up shop years ago, something that the police were more than willing to disprove to us. When the police requested copies of the security tapes, as the theft had happened in the preceding 18 hours, the owner said that there never was a security system, and that we were "on our own".
So to sum things up, the owner of the West Georgia Mini Warehouses has been proven to tell lies by the local police, and that nothing in the ads about being "safe and secure" is true, blatant false advertising. read more
