I buy some from Pacifica itself, but mostly I just pick up what I "need" (wink, wink) at Sprouts here in Oklahoma City. I love Pacifica's Mexican Cocoa most of all, but it seems that I can only get it via eBay now. It's a truly great scent -- rich cocoa with just a touch of cinnamon. (The candles have always been my favorite to burn around the house no matter the climate!) I use the French Lilac perfume (twenty-two bucks per bottle -- very strong and cheap) to scent my linen closet, and it simply couldn't work better! My husband and I wanted to celebrate with fine wine, good beer and a progressive foodie scene. So, my earliest Yelp reviews had Portlandia written all over them. Although, one can enjoy some of the foodie items from Oregon at home, there is one company that I love to buy from both online and local. This is Pacifica! I first discovered Pacifica at a boutique in Carlsbad. My love started with their roll on perfumes , sprays and candles in exotic scents. Later, they added body, hair and make up lines that are unmatched in the natural, vegan, and no animal testing world. I have never found a product that didn't do what it should do nor have I found a line with better scents or selection! The price point is good, so you can get more of what you love. You can find the line local at Sprouts, Target and Ulta. Target has been expanding the brand and sometimes you can earn a $5 gift card with a purchase of two items. Ulta has an arrangement for some exclusive items in which you may only purchase there. The promotions to buy one get one 50% off are the best. With natural aromas of cherries, pineapple, watermelon (only a few if my favorites). It makes washing, bathing and shopping more fun! My most recent purchase is the gem infused crystal line. Excellent warehouse sales. They seem to happen bi-annually. I always find out about them through Facebook. It's worth it to like their page in order to know when they are. Discounts are typically steep. $5 for large soy candles. $4 for reed diffusers. Significant discounts on body products and makeup as well. Sometimes they give an additional percentage off if you pay in cash. This last sale there was a free soy candle with purchase over $25. Note: Only the candles in glass are soy. read more

I am a big fan of candles. I especially love the candles from Pacifica. Pacifica candles are vegan, totally cruelty free, which is important. The fragrances are delightful and there are so many to choose from. In stores like Whole Foods, expect to pay a whole ton of money for one of these amazing candles. But if you shop online, you can get some sweet deals; candles for under $10.00. If you sign up for their email list, you will get a heads-up on when they have their pop-up sales at random locations. At these sales, you will hit the mother lode and you will not pay much for all kinds of treats. Besides the candles that they are kind of famous for, they have skin care products, bath products, perfumes, makeup and more. But the candles are where it's at. If you do go to a pop-up sale, get there early. Like at least an hour early. There will probably be a line, but it is worth it to be one of the first inside as items will fly off the shelf. They provide boxes for shoppers but I've had better luck bringing my own bags. Bring your own heavy duty, handled shopping bags as candles become heavy quickly. I love the idea Pacifica beauty is vegan and cruelty free for that they deserve 5 stars. The review is for the customer service. It is imposible to reach customer service on the phone, I had a question about the ingredients In the perfume so I reached a lady in the sales department she refused to answer my question and forward my call to customer service which no one picked up the phone, I called later and no one answer. I suspect they use synthetic ingredient/s in the perfume, they write on the box "Jasmin like". The perfume smelled terrific however after a while I Could smell synthetic substance. I purchased the "Tuscan Blood Orange" roller from Target and used it after a shower. My cat, healthy age 7-8, jumped from the beg to come greet me and fell to her side and began to seizure. She has never had this problem before. I washed my wrists and opened the windows. She recovered after about 10min however I have determined that the essential oils used are not safe for sensitive pets. I emailed customer service within an hour and said the following "I'm aware that cats have reactions to essential oils such but the website here did not help me see what oils were in the perfume. Can you please confirm for me if any of the following are in the perfume: oil of wintergreen, oil of sweet birch, citrus oil (d-limonene), pine oils, Ylang Ylang oil, peppermint oil, cinnamon oil, pennyroyal oil, clove oil, eucalyptus oil, and tea tree oil" The response I received was poor and unhelpful. I understand a company's need to protect the exact blend of ingredients in their product but I did not ask for a comprehensive list. The response: This is the ingredient deck from the website. This is the only list I have. Ingredients; alcohol denat. (natural grain), parfum (Pacifica's own fragrance blend with natural and essential oils), aqua (water). My reviews posted on Pacifica as well as Target have been deleted. This is a very serious issue to me and I hope they can be more helpful with their ingredients in the future so that people or pets with sensitivity to certain ingredients can be safe. - Heather read more

Two words: Warehouse Sale. Follow them on Facebook to find out when they have them. Stuff is like 75% off... Crazy good deals. They only have them like 2-3 times per year. Get there early. I was like 50th in line out of 300+ people. This stuff is vegan, not tested on animals, and LOCAL. Company totally rules as far as i'm concerned. read more

Note: The website is now PacificaBeauty.com. I have purchase online and at Sephora and other stores Pacifica fragrance products. It is no longer carried in most Whole Foods. I love the Blood Orange and Lemon Blossom scents the best. And I just tried Brazilian Mango Grapefruit. So yummy and fresh-fruity smelling. Bali Lime Papya is nice - but not a Holy Grail. Very light, sweet and airy (easy to wear) scent - but they do fade quickly. Lovely packaging. Only problem? No caps on the spray bottles. Weird. read more

The products are really nice but the customer service is none existent!!!! DO NOT BUY PACIFICA ITEMS ON THE WEBSITE!!!!! I have left messages and emails and I am still waiting to hear from Pacifica. I spent a certain amount to receive the FREE shipping only to have to pay for shipping when picking up items from USPS as company had underpaid on shipping.I had to pay $10.40 extra shipping due to there incompetence of paying to ship only 8oz!!!! While at the postal office I noticed they had a stack of PACIFICA shipments with the same issue. Very disrespectful and FALSE ADVERTISING by this company. read more

Came here for the Warehouse Sale. Mainly had candles, reed diffusers, home scent fragrances, small varieties of make-up and skin care. I mostly stocked up on candles and reed diffusers. It does get crowdy and overwhelmed with lots of scents. Not sure if the sale seemed great, but I like to support our local companies, since I do love Pacifica products at Bales and New Seasons. read more

The warehouse sales are pretty decent. Lots of stuff, it's fairly organized, and the prices are really good. It can get pretty crowded, and it's awfully smelly, but the deals are good and it's a great place to stock up on high quality candles and lotions and fragrances. The line to check out can be SUPER slow, but if you aren't in a hurry this isn't a deterrent. read more

We were handed a price list when we entered, so we didn't have any squabbles as a reviewer previously mentioned. We found the salespeople to be extremely friendly and helpful. FYI. I emailed them a few weeks ago to ask them about their warehouse sale and they informed me they no longer do them. They do have an "outlet" in Hood River now. And they discontinued two of my favorite scents. And, they need to send their staff through an email etiquette course because every time I've contacted them, they've been curt and treated me like I'm bothering them. I just visited the Pacifica pop up shop yesterday located on 16th and Everett. After purchasing my items, I came through the line again to purchase 2 more items and a different woman helped me. She wanted to charge me double the price for the same items I had purchased just a few minutes prior. When I questioned her, she yanked the items I ALREADY PAID FOR out of my hands and chastised the other cashier in front of everyone on her error. I would have been fine with not purchasing the new items but why would you aggressively take items that your customer has already paid for? What kind of customer service is that? It's not my fault that the girl was mistaken on the price. I thought that was incredibly strange and really unprofessional customer service. I really thought Pacifica was going to be my main makeup provider but my most recent experience was horrible. I ordered one of their gift sets almost a month ago. It qualified for free shipping but I received a notice from my post office that it wouldn't be delivered because there was insufficient postage so I would need to pay $14 to get it. I've contacted them multiple times about it but I can't get through to a real person and there has been no response to my calls or emails. Horrible customer service. read more

I love Pacifica products but after investing a lot of money in their beautiful soy candles, I found that the very large labels were not removable. I had purchased them for a party but did not want to put the candles on the tables with a label, even a pretty one. If you look on their website, they show their candles without the prominent label, but if you buy them, you cannot even turn the label-side away without it showing. Even the home goods rep at New Seasons tried to help me when I brought them in. They are so firmly adhered (meant to be non-removable), it is impossible. Bad move, Pacifica. read more
