So far so good! My daughter just started attending the Squiggle Worms (age 4-5) class last month. It's a much smaller and newer location (opened up in June 2015) than the Pac West location in Union City, occupying a large office space. Inside, each side has equipment for building skills - short and tall balance beams, trampolines, bars, climbing walls, etc. This gym might be geared for kids who are of toddler to middle schooler age after looking through the class schedule. My daughter has enjoyed her teacher, Coach Claudia, who is very conscious of keeping the kids safe but who is seems to like her job and engages the kids. She is not shy with redirecting kids who are acting out of line. The gym is very clean. The prices are a little higher than the tuition fees at Top Flight, however, the class is longer - 55 min compared to 45 min. They have a liberal class make-up policy where you can miss as many classes and make up as many classes. With the tuition, kids can also come to the Open Gym, offered on Mondays and Wednesdays at 11 am. Non-member price is $7.50 (not too bad) for 60 min. for kids to expend their energy. Now this location is a little tricky to find. It's located in this office plaza, off Christy St. Drive all the way to the back and it is located next to Jigsaw Crossfit.

The party started off with a 1 hour play time followed by 1-1.5 hours of food and games in their upstairs loft. The space is primarily set-up for their regular gymnastics classes, so there's plenty of room for the kids to run around, lots of places for them to jump and fall softly on floor pads. It's a nice, clean facility that I'd highly recommend for kids' birthday parties!

The entire studio was dark and I had a bad feeling. Luckily, the door wasn't locked (yet) and I walked in looking for someone for guidance. I then saw a trainer leaving so I yelled across the studio asking if I could start setting up. He looked confused at first, then realized NO ONE informed him or anyone about a party. He mentioned it's not the first time it happened, and something with someone not sending an email. So someone just seriously messed up and forgot about a party. Just WOW. I even asked it weekly prior when I was there to ensure they had everything needed. Every single time they confirmed my booking was there and it was all set. Then the day came and nothing was set up. Had I came a little later and he left, we would have been stranded with no party. However, he saved the day by calling his team and then helped get the activity set up. We started maybe only 15 min later than anticipated because he quickly got everything together and more trainers showed up eventually. Honestly, a venue forgetting an event you book is literally the worst nightmare. I will never book this place again and if you do, call the day of because you just can't be too careful someone forget to do their job. Three star because the trainer saved the day and kids ended up having fun but not worth the full on panic attack.

Pacific West Gymnastics - Classes are fun, energetic, and encourage friendship building! Class for all ages, preschool and up! Competitive options available.

GG went above and beyond to help us through the enrollment process and took the time to understand my daughter's age, experience level, and goals before recommending the perfect class. GG was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and welcoming, making what could have been an overwhelming process feel easy and stress-free. She truly is a blessing! Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for families made such a positive impression on us from the very beginning. My daughter is excited to start her gymnastics journey, and I feel confident that she's in the right place. Thank you, GG, for your outstanding customer service and for making us feel so welcomed. I highly recommend Pacific West Gymnastics to any family looking for a supportive, professional, and caring gymnastics program!

I am extremely disappointed with how this gymnastics facility handled my daughter's injury…read more My 6-year-old daughter injured her neck during a forward roll in the morning. Despite the injury involving her neck, no one contacted us to inform us that an incident had occurred. We only learned about it at pickup around 3:30 PM, when we noticed her neck was significantly swollen and she was in pain. We then took her to the ER, where doctors spent over 7 hours evaluating her to rule out a spinal injury. We did not get home until 3:00 AM. Thankfully, it was not a more serious injury, but the situation could have been much worse. The following day, I met with the facility to understand why we were never notified. The explanations I received were concerning. The front desk staff could not provide a clear account of what happened because different instructors worked the morning and afternoon shifts. It appeared there was little communication or proper handoff between staff members. I was surprised by how disorganized the operation seemed. I was told that staff did not re-evaluate my daughter's condition in the afternoon because she said she was "fine." She is only 6 years old. Children are not always able to accurately assess or communicate the severity of an injury, especially a neck injury. It is the responsibility of trained staff to monitor the situation and notify parents when an injury occurs. When the owner, Danielle, later joined the conversation, she stated that her staff "did exactly what they were supposed to do" and that this had been their protocol for 15 years. She also said they would pay closer attention to my daughter next time. Unfortunately, that completely misses the point. This is not just about my daughter--it is about the safety of every child in their care. Any neck injury should be treated seriously, and parents should be informed immediately. What disappointed me most was not only the lack of communication, but also the lack of accountability. Rather than acknowledging that improvements could be made, management defended a process that failed to notify parents of a potentially serious injury. As a parent, I can no longer trust this facility with my child's safety. I would strongly encourage other parents to carefully consider whether this is the level of communication and care they expect when leaving their children in someone else's supervision.

My daughter started with Core 1 with Coach Kina who she adores. She has been such a great role model for her. I like that the classes are organized and structured. But most importantly, Ms. Kina really takes the time to get to know each student and really looks at each student individually to see what they need to work on and how to challenge them. These are group classes, but you get a lot of one on one attention. My daughter is now starting Core 2 with Coach Brian and he is also great at explaining things clearly and presenting new challenges in a way that is not too overwhelming. This is also a very family friendly venue. It is very open so a lot of parents sit and watch (almost feels like a modern coffee shop). It's nice to have the option to be able to watch the entire class from beginning to end. Bottom line, if our daughter comes out smiling every time and got great exercise, then mommy and daddy are all smiles as well! Thank you Kina and Brian!

Also, the instructors ALWAYS look unhappy and have a sullen attitude. They don't make any effort to discipline misbehaving students either. They do the bare minimum with a very grumpy look apparent on their faces. They're nice over email and scheduling but it's way too crazy and crowded. The coaches attitudes don't help either. Lots of other places for the same price with a more positive, professional and supportive staff that smile!

We started our son in the preschool program and we instantly saw him blossom. Little Apples gave him a safe space to learn and grow, which has now led to such confidence and kindness in our child. Miss Sharon, Miss Wendy, Miss Ashley, and all of the staff here have been so wonderful to us and we can't thank them enough for the wonderful experience. When my husband and I first visited the school, we both saw it as our dream school for our son. As competitive as it is, we were lucky enough to have our son enrolled. Every interaction we've had with Little Apples has been nothing but positive. The staff is super responsive, attentive, and caring. Any time we had questions, they were so quick to respond. They are very committed to ensuring your child is in good hands and well taken care of. The facility is immaculate and they really promote a fun yet educational program that will get your child engaged. We will be forever grateful to Little Apples for helping our son grow into his own.
