They foster a stimulating and nurturing environment that encourages children to learn and grow in a variety of ways. Ms. Yin and her team are particularly exceptional. They treat the kids like their own, and their staff are kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about teaching. They put their hearts into nurturing my child's development, unlike other ordinary business-minded individuals. The principal always greets parents with a warm smile whenever we drop off or pick up our kids. Beside helping students with their regular elementary school homework, teachers @ Giraffe also provide extra math and English study materials and paperwork for students, which has significantly helped my child improve in academics. Beyond academic studies, the school also focuses on a variety of extracurricular activities, including Chinese language study, drawing and arts and crafts, games, and science lessons. This holistic approach provides students with a strong foundation and prepares them for a bright future. Teacher Vivian is kind and sweet, and she always keeps me updated on my child's progress. Summer camps are also a fun and engaging option. Besides English and Math, there are many professional teachers to teach classes in various subjects, giving children a chance to explore different aspects of learning, such as science, arts and crafts, cooking, Chinese yo-yo, and badminton etc. The school also assists with arranging and picking up/dropping off students for swimming classes. How fun!!! The extended hours of operation, allowing me pick up my child anytime before 7 pm, provide much-needed flexibility and convenience, especially for the days I may encounter traffic delays. Overall, I am more than satisfied with Giraffe Learning Center and want to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful after-school program they provide. I highly recommend Giraffe to anyone seeking an exceptional after-school program for your kids.

I attended Giraffe Learning Center years ago, and I only have good things to say about it. My experience was quite positive, and while I was there, they provided an array of extracurricular activities, as well as a conducive environment for me to learn. I do believe my academics improved because of the extra tutoring I got from the teachers and TAs. I also feel like the packets we had to complete were reasonable in terms of the workload and difficulty level. If I ever needed help, the teachers guided me in a patient manner. There were a few students who gave the teachers a hard time, but I can confidently say I have NEVER witnessed Ms. Yin (the principal) or the staff being mean nor abusive to the students. They might have seemed strict to some, but I saw it as tough love. Giraffe provided an environment to have fun, but they focused heavily on education. It's typically hard to get kids to do things like homework because they usually just want to play. This could be why some students might have not enjoyed their time at Giraffe as much. Now that I'm older, I am more appreciative of the structure and discipline Giraffe embodied because of the good habits that I built. You can definitely tell the staff cared about the students a lot and wanted the best for them. All I have to say is Giraffe deserves more credit and I'm sure this Yelp page is not an accurate depiction of most students' experiences. People who have had bad experiences with a business will typically find time to leave a negative review, most likely in hopes of seeing it fail. There are numerous kids who attended Giraffe over the years, and it's unfortunate that more students/parents have not shared their positive experiences. I hope this review provides some more context and reassurance to anyone who's considering Giraffe as a daycare/after school program. The facility is clean and they even provided snacks, games, and a bunch of activities. It's honestly a great place for kids to learn, grow, and make new friends. I actually still keep in touch with some of the friends that I made while I attended. I am truly grateful for my experience, as well as the amazing memories I made at Giraffe.

I taught at three of their locations: Ardenwood, Newark, and Fremont. Honestly, of all the jobs I've worked this one had some of the kindest and well communicating management. I appreciated the environment and the ten minutes included between classes to give teachers time to speak to parents or guardians to let them know how their children were doing, and what sort of improvement was needed to fulfill their academic needs. As is the nature with most child education services there were times of stress where teachers, management, and parents were confused and teacher - parent conveyance was messy. But everyone always put in maximum effort to resolve any problems. I highly recommend Best Brains to any parents or anyone looking for a part time job.

She has surpassed the math level she does at school because after she started the 2nd grade (after summer was over) the math homework she started in the 2nd grade was a bit of review from the first grade seeing how kids that take the whole summer off doing zero amount of math need to catch up with what they did to prepare them for what they are going to do. Going to best brains has helped keep my daughters mind fresh throughout the summer and keeps her math skills sharpen by consistently moving her into higher level math. I really like there curriculum and the price is very reasonable. Her grades are good, I see the results. Hopefully this continues .

We started our son in the preschool program and we instantly saw him blossom. Little Apples gave him a safe space to learn and grow, which has now led to such confidence and kindness in our child. Miss Sharon, Miss Wendy, Miss Ashley, and all of the staff here have been so wonderful to us and we can't thank them enough for the wonderful experience. When my husband and I first visited the school, we both saw it as our dream school for our son. As competitive as it is, we were lucky enough to have our son enrolled. Every interaction we've had with Little Apples has been nothing but positive. The staff is super responsive, attentive, and caring. Any time we had questions, they were so quick to respond. They are very committed to ensuring your child is in good hands and well taken care of. The facility is immaculate and they really promote a fun yet educational program that will get your child engaged. We will be forever grateful to Little Apples for helping our son grow into his own. We truly feel that we are part of the Little Apples family and I'm sure you'll feel the exact same if you decide to enroll your children here.

I started my daughter at little apples at the age of 3 during the pandemic and my son at the age of 2. At the time little apples took all the precautionary measures to keep the students and their family safe. Miss Sharon has always been extremely responsive to questions and my concerns. I appreciated that I could email or call and ask for a short meeting to discuss any concerns I might have had. For example I was concerned about my son's transition to preschool given he was a "biter" but I was reassured by Ms. Sharon with how the staff would handle these types of situations. My daughter has continued with little apples and has been attending their afterschool enrichment program which includes homework help, learning Mandarin, science, STEM, and art. Fastfoward my daughter is now in 2nd grade and my son is in kindergarten, both attending the afterschool program and loving every moment. The staff go above and beyond and both my children have only positive things to share with me when I ask them about their day. They've made so many friends and I've gotten to know many of the other parents. Would highly recommend Little Apples

I feel that my child (6th grade) is getting really good education at almost half of the tuition that some other private schools charge. And the tuition ($1450) covers staying there all day long, i.e. till 5:30pm. Some other private schools charge more but are open till 3:00 only. I personally think it's quite affordable especially considering the fact that even in public schools I was paying around $600 for after school day care and then to supplement the public school education, I was sending my kid to Kumon, another $300. But the quality of education here is so much better than Kumon, the kids are learning things above their normal grade level. All the teachers are really caring and hard-working. The English teacher Ms Sandya works tirelessly and creates custom lessons based on children's level and is really prepping them for future SATs/college essays, etc. The school also has no screen policy except for the computer class which has really been a blessing as doing that is bringing back children's focus in today's screen slaver world. The class sizes are really small right now (less than 5 kids in most classes) but even then my child is really happy going there. So overall we are very satisfied and love the new school.

Over time, I've seen such a huge difference he's become much more sociable, has made so many friends, and even enjoys trying different foods thanks to the encouragement and environment they provide. I love that the teachers are not only attentive but also very intentional. They send progress reports and pictures, which really helps me stay connected to his growth throughout the day. The curriculum is wonderful, the kids learn through play, music, being social, outdoor time, and all with a strong Christian focus. It feels very natural and holistic, almost like a biological style of teaching that supports children where they are. The hours are also perfect (8:00-5:30), and tuition is very reasonable for the quality of care and education provided. They also help with potty training and provide morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack, which is such a blessing for busy families. My son will be transitioning to TK next year, and while I'm excited for his next chapter, I'm honestly sad for him to leave this community. That's how much we love it here. I already can't wait for my second child to start in another year and a half. Precious Time has been such a gift for our family, and I'm so thankful for the teachers and the heart they put into caring for and teaching our children. Highly recommend!

My children developed close relationships with their teachers and would be excited to get up in the morning to be at school. As someone mentioned the hours are 8am to 5:30pm (the latest) and is such a blessing to us working parents. My kiddos never had a problem staying at school for those many hours as there are in class activities such as painting, reading, dress up, outdoor play, songs and dance, and nappy time. Compared to other preschools in the area, I really liked what was included in the tuition. Be real, preschool is expensive as is! Some schools charge for half day the total amount that I paid for 3x/week at this school. Snacks and small meals are provided which was another pro for choosing this school. There were some schools that did not provide snacks and lunch and would have to be provided by parents, again just helps working parents cause it's one less thing to think about. My children were introduced and successfully potty trained with the help of the teachers. There was never any pressure to be at certain milestones but the teachers expressed partnership in helping my children achieve new milestones such as potty training or recognizing letters, numbers, sharing toys, etc. Overall, it was bittersweet to remove my children Precious Time since my children loved their time there. Definitely recommend.
