LOCATION. Lock your doors and clutch tight to your purse. Mind your jewelry. As I waited, two LBPD cars had already made their patrols of the area. High police presence and houses with bars on the windows usually equates to a high crime area. BUSINESS. Received my wired money after the lady, I don't know her name, texted me to come through the side when I texted I was out front and the steel gates were padlocked. She neither introduced herself or any indica of her affiliation. She asked me the name of the person who wired the money and how much was wired, and that's about it. Didn't ask me my name, verify my identity or anything. Gave me money, told me to count it. Nothing less, nothing more. Granted, I wasn't asked for five-star service, but still... they operated out of a garage off Cerritos. Not sure what to think. I'll have to pass on using their services just because I'm not into that don't ask, don't tell nonsense. Business is business, and it was not a comfortable experience for me to be handed money without verification. Google maps indicated this business as being "permanently closed" but I'll suggest an edit to that.

I went to the business to see what contact info was listed, but saw that there was a posting by the building management that the storefront was deemed abandoned due to non-payment of rent. Additional information was posted to contact the Long Beach Police Department to file a police report. Inside was completely vacated except for debris and trash strewn about the floor. So.. after leaving there, I found out my dad had bought calling cards from Cambodia Express. Tried them out to find that all nine cards had accounts that were suspended! Boo!! to this business... also beware of their sister business from which they branched off of--PHNOM PENH EXPRESS & WATER. It is owned by the same family.

The great thing was they had excellent employees routing the traffic to different lanes to help the traffic flow so much better. As soon as we parked at drop off an employee got a cart and started putting my parents luggages on it. Extremely helpful, and patient with my parents. I was probably in and out in maybe about 15 minutes. From waiting in line to get in, to the drop off, unloading and leaving.

Just drop off passengers and luggage and then park if driving to the port. On my sailing there were numerous lines dependent on both scheduled boarding time, and loyalty status with Carnival $CCL. If standing in a line is a physical issue make that clear to the staff directing the cruise guests. It took more than 30 minutes to board, but once inside the terminal the air is slightly cooled. FYI, review the current item / beverage restrictions / limitations. In my case a white noise generator was removed from my checked bag because it was mistaken for an audio speaker. Overall a positive experience both boarding and departing, with easy to navigate ramps and clear direction in the terminal, and large ample elevators in the garage.

Only one plug with two extra usb ports, however there is a second plug for the TV and if you're like me and don't watch it just unplug it for extra electronics. Everyone on board (employees) were extremely happy and always offered a good morning or good evening comment when you passed by. Lots of different entertainment from concerts to comedy shows they definitely kept you busy. The food situation was hit or miss. Guys burgers are fantastic but some of the other places not so good it just depends on what you like they definitely have allot to choose from. Our first destination was Cabo San Lucas which aside from the beach was absolutely terrible. Town was very trashy with not many choices for restaurants or shopping, and Ensenada wasn't much different just a sad place with the same shops. Two places I hope to never visit again. The ship offers so much more!

Plus a lot of folks don't remember to put their phone on airplane mode and get hit with extra charges for unintentionally using a normal feature of their phone. Food on the Radiance was better at the buffet than the dining room during breakfast. Most of my food was extremely dry. Dinner was better but they sure had a funny interpretation of "medium rare" my prime rib was barely cooked except for the outside edge.
