I called this shop in Long Beach and spoke with Juan. He was very helpful and let me know they had 4 used tires in stock for my pick up truck. Everyone was very helpful. The price was reasonable. I feel much safer with these tires! It was great to save some money too. Thank You very much Pacific Tire Llamé a esta tienda en Long Beach y hablé con Juan. Muchas Gracias Pacific Tire

Had a flat tire this morning and came here on two peoples recommendation. Turns out it was a nail and they were able to patch it. Extremely friendly and efficient. I was in and out in 10 mins. And their bathrooms were hella clean!!!! Highly recommend

If you're reading reviews trying to figure out where to take your car, GO HERE. Seriously. 10/10…read more Love love love this place. I've been dealing with tire issues for a while, and every few days I was going to Costco just to put air back in one of my tires because it kept losing pressure. I originally went to M&M Tires and was told I needed four brand-new tires plus a new tire sensor, which was going to cost me a lot of money. I'm already dealing with enough adulting expenses right now, so hearing that was stressful as hell. Since I have a big trip coming up, I finally decided to get a second opinion and came here to Torres Tires because they're right down the street. Best decision ever. Alex took a look at my tire and immediately found the actual problem: there was literally just a hole in it. He patched it in about FIVE MINUTES and charged me only $15. FIFTEEN DOLLARS. I gave him $20 because at that point I was so relieved I could've hugged the man. What really stood out to me was how honest and straightforward everyone was. I know absolutely nothing about cars. Like, barely-name-the-parts-of-a-car level of knowledge. So it means a lot finding a shop where I don't feel like someone is trying to take advantage of that or sell me a bunch of things I don't actually need. I've been driving around all day since the repair, and the tire pressure light that normally comes back on still hasn't returned. I genuinely feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I went in thinking I might have to spend over $1,000 and walked out with my problem fixed for $15. Thank you so much, Alex. You didn't just fix my tire, you genuinely made my whole day. I'm SO relieved. I will absolutely be coming back here for anything tire-related, and I'm already telling my friends about this place. Honest, affordable, fast, kind, and they actually seem like they care about helping people instead of squeezing every dollar out of them.

Quick tire service and reasonable prices. CASH ONLY!…read more We took the tire off the car on our own and brought the wheel/flat tire to their shop. They matched a tire and we were in n out in 15 minutes. $50 is a decent price. Will definitely be back.

I really like this particular location. Please don't change, keep your standards of service,…read morequality, and integrity high. They are always helpful & friendly, they really do care about their customers safety on the road. They have good options, quality, values, and warranty options available. They will also service you just as good if you aren't there to spend, any or much money on new tires, rims etc. If you just want to have your air pressure checked, they got you & it's a little drive through part just for this you don't even have to get out of your car. If you have a hole in your tire that's fixable they will fix it & you won't have to wait forever (unless of course very busy can take longer) you can make appt or walk in. Their appointment process is easy & can get you in most of the time with flexible& quick if setting appointment or again can walk in. They're not going to try to upsell you or tell you it's anything other than what the issue is, in my experience with them. Say you have a slow leak and it is repairable you don't have to worry about them saying it's in an area that has to have the whole tire replaced etc they are honest! Huge deal for me in today's world.. I recently brought 2 tires from discount tire center ugh. I confused them with American tires because in Colorado & a few other states discount tire is the same company as, American tire in California is. Anytime,Id try to stop in to discount tire center to have my air pressure checked or if I had a slow leak once after buying 2 tires from them & wanted to see where it was coming from, discount would make me wait forever 2hr for slow leak (discount) & with warranty, but would pay all the attention to people potentially buying tires & let their customers who had already spent money, but there were just there for a little quick basic service (free services w warranty) stuff like this & make wait for hours, in my experience. I was telling American tire about this and how I just didn't like to have to go in there and deal with them for those 2 tires I got from them.. He said we can put your 2 tires under warranty for $25 each with us (American tires) even though, I bought them at discount tire center. Great! I paid for this & bought two new tires from America tires this day also, for a good price, decent brand, all weather tires. They are so helpful, and now, I'm able to have all my tires serviced here at American tires with warranty even though two were bought elsewhere, with small fee for warranty. Last unlike neighborhood tire shops they have America tire across the country so if you happen to be out of town & something comes up you can most likely find an America tires, and remember in certain states they are discount tires, but will never be called discount tire center! America tires or discount tires in certain states, no center at the end of name. I highly recommend & especially this particular location. I've always had really good experiences here.

I had an unexpected screw in my tire and stumbled across America's Tire in Signal Hill. I made an…read moreappointment as I didn't want to wait and needed it fix quickly (same day) and they were the only reputable shops (one of my mechanics recommended) that had same day availability for an appointment, although they do take walk ins. I didn't want to risk it. Anyway, I take the car in for my appointment and meet Nathan. Professional, efficient, etc. He advised me that patching/plugging a tire is free which I didn't realize. Pleasant surprise! He also let me know about my tire condition for all fours and let me know what replacing two rears would cost (performance tires = replace same side/size at a time). But here's the thing, he provided the info but there wasn't an uncomfortable hard sell. He was professional and comprehensive but at no time did I feel like I was being sweated or pressured. In fact, I remember sitting there thinking, "huh, well heck maybe I'll just buy them here when the time comes!" That's solely because Nathan came at me as a professional, with expertise, a calm composed demeanor, and information (not a pitch). As someone who has worked in the auto industry, including as a senior executive, it was so refreshing to be in a space seeing a young professional with a passion and expertise for his craft. Delivering it in a way that wasn't to aggressively close a deal but foster a relationship that would create a long term commitment to the brand. America's Tire, pay attention! All-in-all, I was impressed and my expectations were exceeded. Well done Nathan!

I brought in my '06 RSX Type S to get a new clutch and flywheel installed. I bought an ACT…read morelightweight flywheel and an Exedy Stage 1 clutch and brought it to them. I was also having issues with the clutch hydraulics (bought this car used, love it to death but don't like the way it was previously maintained). Upon investigation, they found that the master and slave cylinders were getting stuck, and they replaced them with reasonably priced parts. When they got to removing the old clutch and flywheel, they sent me a picture of the shoddy workmanship that the previous person who worked on the clutch did. They showed me that a bolt was barely screwed in! I can tell by the condition of the bolt that it had been like that for a long time. The diligent mechanics also noticed worn bushings and replaced them. All issues were evidenced with pictures so you know they're not fooling you. I previously worked as a mechanic so nothing gets past me when it comes to my vehicles being worked on. These technicians are diligent and the labor rate is very fair; you get what you pay for, in a good way. I immediately took a drive down PCH to Huntington Beach to begin the clutch break-in process. Everything feels perfect and I am happy with the work completed. I will be returning to Big Q for all my major service needs. As will my mom, whom also previously brought her car in for service.

I had been here once before and had a great experience, so when my car's AT light went on…read moreunexpectedly one night I called them first thing the next morning to see if they could get it in. They said they could and gave me a timeline for working on the vehicle that matched my needs. While I appreciate them getting me in on short notice, they consistently over-promised and under-delivered on when they would be able to work on my vehicle. They were able to diagnose a couple of leaks that they thought were the problem and sent me photos to show me what they were looking at. In the past when I've left my car at this shop for work they sent over a detailed estimate before starting the work, but this time I only received the verbal estimate over the phone. I drive an old car, which isn't worth much, and I did let the person know that I wasn't interested in investing more in repairs than the vehicle is worth. As it was, the two leaks were just over $1K to fix, and I OK'd the work to begin. After fixing the first two leaks, they then came back and told me there was a third leak, which would require a more major repair to the transmission and they would have to have their transmission person (who wasn't there that weekend) send me an estimate the next day. While I understand that it's plausible that the third leak wasn't something they could have originally diagnosed, it felt a bit weird that the photo they used to show me the leak was one of the original photos they had sent before starting any work. If the leak was visible in that photo, I'm unclear why they couldn't have diagnosed it earlier. The added cost of this additional repair definitely tips the scales of worth-it/not-worth-it to repair vs replace this car, so I wish I had had all the information before deciding to make the initial repairs. Unfortunately, despite stabilizing the ATF level, fixing the leaks did not resolve the transmission issue. On a smaller scale, they didn't check or top up the tire pressure, which most mechanics I've gone to have done as a courtesy when working on my vehicle. The day after I picked up my car the tire pressure light went on, and when I checked my tires all four of them had low pressure. It's a small thing, but especially when dealing with expensive mechanical items like cars, the small things matter a lot in creating a sense of security and trust with your mechanic. They did mention that they were under new management since the last time I had been in, which may account for the different experiences.
