The road is now riddled with rocks everywhere, which has been causing serious damage to cars and posing a danger to pedestrians. The city has placed full blame on Knife River Construction for the poor state of the road. My vehicles alone have sustained over $1,000 in damage, not including a broken windshield that just occurred on Chinden Blvd on 2/26. This company has made the road worse than it was before the construction even began, and many others are facing high repair costs as well. If you don't believe it, just contact SafeLite and ask how many customers they've had recently due to damage from Chinden. It's clear that Knife River Construction's work has led to a lot of unnecessary financial burdens for the people in the area.

GREAT PRODUCT DISPLAYS They have many of the options displayed in big format installs on walls in the showroom or on the walkways outside the building. This makes it much easier to evaluate the fit of product for your home than using a small sample board as is what is available in some other sellers. This was our fourth custom home project but the first in Idaho and in other venues we used real, full dimension stone for exteriors house trims and inside for fireplaces too.. We found in this area manufactured stone veneers were "the thing" but we wanted the look of real stone. Full dimension stone was cost prohibitive here and in doing our research, we found Rocky Mountain Supply. Through the crew there we had a chance to not only learn about real stone veneer but they also carried the one we wanted. HELPFUL STAFF Although I'm sure the staff here work mostly with the masonry and hardscape trades, the nice and expert men were ultra helpful to my husband and me when we were looking for the "just right" real stone veneers to use on our new home build and were getting zero assistance from our builder in that regard. (Here's a tip. If building in this area, we recommend avoiding Tradewinds Construction.) The staff was also able to advise us on the kinds of questions we should be asking the builder and mason for installation ins and outs using this particular 'new to us' material. FOLLOWED THROUGH If we were building again in the Treasure Valley, Rocky Mountain Supply is a supplier we would use again. They were easy for us to work with, they were easy for mason to work with and they had the product he needed available when he needed it. We recommend Rocky Mountain. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: Small private lot. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Although they have no marked accessible (aka ADA required) parking, there is a ramped up, paver surface to the door and the store is on one level throughout.

Then when it shows up they load the wrong material, take over an hour to load it and they have one 65 year old man loading this $3k order!!! so they set a delivery for next day at 9:30. It's 1:30 and still no lumber!!! I call the office and they say they can't reach the drover and it's on its way!!! Two hours later still no delivery. Go to Franklin lumber!!!! Then I found out Vance didn't even bother to check and the lumber is still at the yard!!! These guys need to pull their head out of their a__!!!!

Be extremely careful about what you are getting in quantity. I learned the hard way. My receipts…read moreshowed the supposed square footage, not the boxes. My contractor picked up 83 boxes which contained 7 tiles, equaling 14 square feet. The total pickup was 996 square feet, not the 1200 listed. This was also evidenced when I ran out of tile. This also happened on a small order where I did the math for what I needed , added 10% for waste and was still 2 boxes short. The receipt does NOT show boxes, so you do not have recourse once you leave the store. Phil is argumentative, and although Marco seems decent, this has not been resolved so this is my PSA. This has cost me over $1500 in materials and trips back to the store for more tile. It was Florida tile so part of the issue is probably with the supplier too. Count the boxes AND the tiles. Sorry guys but that is the truth. Otherwise, good selection and customer service.
