Below a note I gave to Chris is my full review of Tile Outlet & Granite.  Chris, There is no way to explain how much you've helped the wife and I. From my first call to the shop, you took care of us. From the first time I walked in, you took care of me. The next time I came in you took care of us. After our back-up tile guy bails on us, you took care of us... and then we end up with Tony, who truly is a Tile Master. You guys took a Shit Sandwich, ground it up, turned it into fertilizer & grew us the most beautiful organic garden to look at & enjoy. These words can't even begin to really let you know how we feel. Thanks for Being You! m.y. Without a doubt... doing business with Tile Outlet & Granite was as seamless as possible. Each and every member of the Tile Outlet & Granite family made me feel like a valued customer from day one; whether calling back in for a substitute product to research, dropping material off at my home because something had to be adjusted mid project, or blessing us with an amazing human being, Tony, a master of tile setting.  Our past GC for a home renovation (that claimed he & his PM were experts at doing tile), who is a complete shyster with no business even thinking he could install tile, especially to be within parameters for the excellent warranties that both Schlüter and ARDEX offer, which he sold us on, was a complete charlatan. We were saved by Tile Outlet & Granite! Words can not even describe what Tile Outlet & Granite had to do in order to clean up the shoddy work done by someone claiming to know how to use Schlüter products. Every single area tiled in our home that needed to be remedied or redone has been done so correctly this time and also looks beyond amazing! Don't make the same mistake I did by believing a fraud and getting dooped. Call Tile Outlet & Granite and have it all done by true professionals that know how to make your tile and granite look excellent and get it done right... THE FIRST TIME with their true professionalism; whether in the office or in your home. Thank you, Tile Outlet & Granite! read more

My wife and I wanted to update our bathroom, and we received several proposals, most of which were shower inserts. Due to the high cost of these options, we contacted Tile Outlet and Granite and received a very reasonable bid to replace the existing shower with tile and glass doors, and add tile a tile surround on the tub. When the job was complete, we were extremely happy with the results. If you're interested in updating your bathroom, pass on those "one-day" shower replacement companies and contact the outstanding people at Tile Outlet and Granite. Tile Outlet and Granite offers impeccable design advice, great products, outstanding installation personnel! read more

Be extremely careful about what you are getting in quantity. I learned the hard way. My receipts showed the supposed square footage, not the boxes. My contractor picked up 83 boxes which contained 7 tiles, equaling 14 square feet. The total pickup was 996 square feet, not the 1200 listed. This was also evidenced when I ran out of tile. This also happened on a small order where I did the math for what I needed , added 10% for waste and was still 2 boxes short. The receipt does NOT show boxes, so you do not have recourse once you leave the store. Phil is argumentative, and although Marco seems decent, this has not been resolved so this is my PSA. This has cost me over $1500 in materials and trips back to the store for more tile. It was Florida tile so part of the issue is probably with the supplier too. Count the boxes AND the tiles. Sorry guys but that is the truth. Otherwise, good selection and customer service. read more

Such an amazing team to work with! Set my first backsplash and the staff at Tile Outlet helped me select the tile, schluter and recommended the perfect color epoxy grout. They have knowledgeable staff that took the time to provide helpful advice on how to do a herringbone pattern and walked me through the epoxy grout application process. While completing the project I called the store a couple times with questions and they gladly took the time to provide answers and additional advice. They wanted their product to look great in my house and did all they could to ensure my success. Phil, Vince, Marco and Lisa went above and beyond to help me! Thank you Tile Outlet!! read more

I have been a general contractor for over 50 years. I have used numerous counter top installers. Tile Outlet was outstanding. They were very professional. their communication was excellent. their work was as good as any I have seen and their price was very competitive. it was a pleasure to work with them. I would absolutely use them again and I have already recommended them to other people read more

I was looking for Granite for our new In home bar. I went to every store in the Treasure Valley. TOG were the best in service, accommodating my weird requests and as far as price, they were mid range. You get what you pay for here! Thier granite is slightly thicker than the others. I know I measured over 700 slabs. They used every bit of the slab I purchased and they gave me design ideas I had not thought of. I even ended up with 2 cheeseboards!!! They are very artistic and the care and time they take to do a job is impressive. I wanted a piece to go to the ceiling and they did it. Not an easy install and they took the time to install the counter then measure and make a template for the rest so we were assured the cut would be perfect. The granite fabricator, Larry, did a fabulous job with everything fitting together precisely and matching at the seams. Which you cannot see!!! They did not charge us for two trips to install. If you want the best job done in the area, USE them. I have used 2 other vendors and they were not even close in service or quality. read more

We gutted our laundry room with attached powder room and wanted a 1" white , hexagonal tile for the floor, (with black accent, and charcoal grout) which isn't as common as a floor anymore and I am so happy with their expertise and installation, as it is a tricky product. Mischa the tile installer was fantastic and Vince in sales took wonderful care of the special order, and I gladly look forward to using them again on future remodel projects! read more

Tile Outlet & Granite - a bathroom with a toilet and bathtub - Flooring Near Me - Boise, Idaho

The entire crew at Tile Outlet and Granite did a fabulous job on our master bathroom. Everyone was accommodating, pleasant to work with, showed up when they said they would show up, and did beautiful work. We had a small hiccup with the granite counter top which they took care of right away. Thank you Chris, Marco, Vince, Vasily, et al! read more

Phil is the worse employee I have ever seen. His employee messed up and tried to charge me and my husnand for it. We told him you never charge the customer for your mistakes. He was talking super loud to talk over me and my husband cause we were saying that is unethical. He was super rude and I would never use them again!! There work was good but they need help on there customer service. Phil also treats you different if you want to install your own counter tops which shouldn't matter. He puts you at the very bottom of the pile and when he has time is when you will get yours if you don't use his people to install it. read more

The sales staff was information and helpful in getting our new bathroom tiles picked out. They had no problems with us taking home samples over the course of the week so we could make a better decision. I'll return when I need to do my kitchen counter tops. read more

For the moment we went into the store we were treated with exceptional service. The service Tile Outlet and Granite in Boise provide starts with the initial design process and continues through to the installation of the project. We needed help with some ideas for replacing out granite countertops and were given the direction and ideas we needed. They even adapted to our changing minds when we changed course. Marco's attention to detail was top notch and the result was stunning! They communicated with us every step of the way, showed up on time, and clean up was immaculate. They exceeded all of our expectations and we would highly recommend them. read more

Marco and his crew did an excellent job on our granite countertops and tile backsplash project! We had some last minute material and spec changes and they handled everything without a single hassle. The intricate tile design we chose required real craftsmanship and they made it happen. I was amazed that they were able to complete our granite/quartz/tile installation within a few days. It really is possible to do a kitchen renovation on time and on budget! read more

New to Boise, I had bought a home with great location, but in serious need of kitchen and bath counter upgrades. I visited one granite fabricator that acted like it was a bother to talk to me. A request for a bid went unanswered. That told me all I needed to know. I then found Tile Outlet & Granite. From the moment I walked in the store it was a totally different experience. It was immediately apparent that I was dealing with experienced professionals. They could answer my questions and provided good feedback and suggestions. They instructed me in selection of a granite slab and then they went to work with the fabrication process. When they came to install the granite, the work was superb. The workers were quiet, focused, worked as a team and knew what they were doing. I was surprised at how fast they worked. And amazingly they left no trace that they had been there other than the new granite. They were the cleanest workers I have ever had in my house! I selected a tile backsplash and that experience was was every bit as excellent as the granite installation. I have high expectations when I hire a provider for home services. I can honestly say TOG met my expectations and then some. If I could give 10 stars, I would! read more

The tile work done in our new home by Tile Outlet & Granite exceeded my expectations. From start to finish all work was completed in a timely and very professional manner. The workmanship was excellent. Thanks, Marco and everyone else that had a hand in upgrading our home and making it look beautiful! I will certainly be using this business again and recommend them highly. read more

I visited the store and asked for an installation quote. I was told $5.99 sq foot, including materials. When I called back within the week to confirm, I was told there was no way they could meet that quote and that one of their employees tends to pull numbers out of thin air. Seem like lovely people, but the salesman's obvious dishonesty has permanently turned me away from this business. read more

This place has great reviews online, and that was a reason I went there for my kitchen granite. I spoke with Phil, left him a drawing of my kitchen with measurements and was promised to get a quote for my kitchen shortly. I never got a call back from him (it has been over 6 weeks as of today), so I went with another company. Lately, I needed a remnant piece for my bathroom vanity and I called this place again asking if they have any left overs in a particular color. Again, spoke with Phil. He provided me a quote over the phone, and I liked it. I drove to the store, saw Phil and he honestly made me feel horrible. He said the quote he provided was for the smaller piece of granite even though I told him the size I needed over the phone, and the size I need would be twice as much. He didn't try to make it right, just left me hanging in the store. Not sure about other employees, but Phil made me angry enough to go online and write this review. read more

From my first experience in this store to the last was amazing. First of all when I go into places of business I usually get ignored unless people are commission based in which they harass everyone because I am young. My experience here was not like that at all! I walked into the Tile Outlet over a year ago with interest but no real means to start a project. Phil was the guy who helped me figure out square footage based off my awful small hand drawn diagram on the back of a spam mailer and then he let me take a tile home. I returned the tile with no issues but didn't have the job started because I didn't have the means. fast forward a year later and I walk back in and was greeted and immediately assisted. Now usually people turn their noses up to a young gay couple but we were treated just like everyone else, and that's the way it should be! I worked with Kari to pick out the tile. Vince himself came to measure the rooms requested and he had a quote whipped up within a day, I was super impressed with how little time it took. Now I'm the kind of customer that changes her mind a few times before settling and although I'm sure it was a little annoying no one even seemed bothered by this which made me feel a lot better about it. Houses are pretty unpredictable and unfortunately my bathroom floor was very uneven, this bummed me out because it sounded like there wouldn't be a fix, but Vince and his brother thought about it and figured out a plan overnight and we got the floor installed in my master bathroom without cutting corners or compromising on the quality of work (which is why the room was uneven in the first place) I was so stoked that we could continue with the master bathroom. the installation was quoted to go from 12/5/17 - 12/9/17 but our tile installer Misha (SP?) was able to finish on 12/8/17! There was a small mix up with the grout color in the master bathroom but Vince worked with me to get it right, it's crazy how generous people are when you're truthful. I have the most beautiful tile in my kitchen and master bathroom and I'm very please with how I was treated and how well everything was put together. read more

Working with Tile Outlet was a very pleasant experience. I was hesitant to take on a kitchen remodel over the holidays, but Marco and his crew were kind enough to work over the weekend to ensure my home was in good shape and cleaned up in time for Christmas. I was also very impressed at their prompt responsiveness when I called, emailed or texted them with changes, questions or concerns. The granite and tile backsplash they installed are BEAUTIFUL and I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend this company. read more
