When you're a girl, it's easy to find jeans in the $80-and-up price range. I've noticed stores that used to be affordable have really crept their prices up lately (Express and Banana Republic being two HUGE offenders IMO). Well, if I'm going to spend $100 or more on a pair of blue jeans, I darn well would like to have a wide selection of brands, fits, washes, and lengths! Enter The Buckle! The primary focus here is on the jeans. They have Big Star, Lucky, Miss Me, and more in terms of designer brands, and they also sell their own brand, BKE. Yes, designer jeans are expensive, but finding jeans you LOVE rather than "I guess these fit ok" is worth the price. The store also sells bathing suits, tops, outerwear, acessories, and shoes by popular brands. The sales staff is all incredibly friendly and willing to help. They will grab you different sizes, and they are knowledgeable enough to look at what you're trying on and recommend other brands or styles that you might like. They really know their fits too. Best of all is their punch-card program. For every $10 you spend, you get a punch on your card. After 20 punches, you get $10 off any purchase. You can use multiple cards to get even more of a discount, which is really nice. I mentioned once, while paying, that I tend to forget to bring my punch cards in and found out that they will even keep your cards for you in the store to prevent that happening (SO glad to know I'm not the only one, haha)! I called and talked to the GM, Olivia, who was beyond responsive and friendly. She said to bring in my information and she would make the adjustment. I brought in my info to Olivia and she seamlessly refunded my account and re-rang it up at the cheaper price saving me 20 bones! Super job Olivia. Thank you. BTW-Her store was in great condition too and her associates were customer friendly. 5 star experience!

When I wear one, it makes me feel professional and handsome without feeling too over the top formal. The customer service in the store was very nice, I brought in two shirts that were a little bit too large for me that I had received as a gift. They let me try two other sizes on and they were able to find the same shirts that I liked in the size that fit me correctly. From there, the staff was able to process the exchange within one minute. They have a smooth efficient process and they have a very good quality product.

The store is owned by American Eagle, but the clothes are targeted for 25 and older. I'm okay with the fact that I'm 30, but I'm not sure how comfortable I feel with being targeted like this by a clothing store. But no matter how much I try and fight it, I'm falling for their marketing. And I think the clothes just seem nice. They're casual without looking unstylish or frumpy. Classy without the J-crew price tag. I definitely recommend checking them out. Oh! I almost forgot. They had games and juice boxes for my son. They also gave me a little bottle of Fuji water. I was impressed. But then I also felt beholden to buy something. It wasn't too hard to find something that I liked at a good price.
