Recently had new granite counter tops installed to replaced older granite counter tops. I received…read morea call early one morning advising granite would be installed that morning. I had not received advance schedule or notice and had not had plumbing disconnected. Installer asked if this was new construction and when I advised I was replacing current granite, he said that was not on his work order. Then he asked if I was removing granite? I told him I was not and I would them to remove. Then he said he would need to contact the office. Office later called and said they would need to charge me additional amount to remove granite. I had made no secret to the salesperson that I currently had granite and was replacing it. No mention was ever made there was an additional charge outside of what I was quoted. So I reluctantly agreed to the additional charge. After granite was installed following day, the installers did not caulk the demarcation line from the granite counter tops and the backsplash. When I asked the installer, he said it was not his job. So I had to hire someone to caulk the line around the granite. Seems like that would have been part of the job..... I felt customer service was lacking and once paid, you are on your own. In addition, no one ever called to ask if I was happy with the installation and product nor if I had any questions. I expected more and was sadly disappointed.

Starting with zero knowledge (or time really) I started moving fast. All I knew I cared about was getting a light color and took the advice of my family to invest in granite material. I found a couple spots that couldn't get to our house for a week to give a quote then an additional 3+ weeks from installation. As many of my Yelpy friends know, I work full time and have a toddler so the thought of letting minimal kitchen usage and construction sit for a month stressed me the heck out. Then, tada! A friend told us about CSI. Within 48 hours I was able to go look at the granite with one of the owners in person, got a quote, someone came to measure, and it was installed less than 2 weeks after! Oh, it gets better... they came in at $700 less than others we were looking into. The staff was so kind and beyond easy to work with. With any inquiries I made, a response was given within 30 minutes. Thankful and grateful for an easier process + quality finished products!
