Finally asked for help and a salesman came out from the back. He had to consult his phone to see which one I needed, which I get but doesn't make me feel like they know their products. Said it would be over a month to wait for the install, which was weird as the store was empty. On the way out someone asked if I found everything I needed. Where was he on the way in? Same place, just didn't offer to help me. Feels like a dying big box store. Stay away. Let's hear it for smaller retailers where the employees know their product AND have customer service skills.

He quickly assessed that the drain pump was not functioning correctly. He gave me a honest quote, and he asked if I wanted to make the repair. After discussing with my wife, we agreed to get the washer repaired. He had the part with him and got to work to replace the part. In addition to making the repair well, he spent time to check that the washer worked after replacing the part and that it did not leak before closing the washer up. He then moved back the washer in place even though I am the one who moved the washer in the first place. He gave me a 1-year warranty on the repair as he used a genuine LG part. He was professional and courteous. I would definitely call Home Pro Appliance again for any appliance problem.

They considered this in violation of their 24 hour policy and auto-charged us. On their actual visit out to us they refused to repair our microwave, spent 10 minutes at our home and charged us $130. Said they would apply it to appliance install, but when we had to go with another company because they had no availabilities in our delivery window (to be fair we called on short notice, but they had no availabilities for a full week), they did not refund the $130. However, the experience was very unpleasant and want to ensure others don't get duped like I did. I called to initially schedule the appt. and the scheduler let me know that it's $139 for the diagnostic fee but if I have service performed, SRB will waive that fee. I confirmed this twice. During the appt, I had 2 appliances that needed repair - the garbage disposal was repaired easily, then the dishwasher was rec'd to be replaced, not fixed. I was charged for both the service and fee, which I said went against what I was told. He said I misunderstood, and I was forced to pay the high amount. I called back, as this didn't sit right, and the office staff was helpful but it was up to the manager to decide. Multiple staff members verified that waiving the $139 fee with service is in fact the policy and the manager would listen to our recorded call to confirm. He would not return any calls, despite requests by the staff and claimed that he talked to me several times, when we never spoke once. I was never able to resolve. Please watch out for this company, as they'll lure you in with a waived fee and then you will pay double!
