5 Stars I can't say…read moreenough good things about Brett and Simon at NAPA Auto Parts. My truck was barely running after limping off Highway 101, and I pulled into the store with only about 15 minutes before closing. Most places would have been watching the clock, but not these guys. They kept the doors open, came outside with a code reader, and helped diagnose the problem. They didn't stop there--they helped troubleshoot the issue, swapped relays with me, looked up the correct replacement parts, and even helped install them to get us back on the road. I had never met Brett or Simon before that day. They treated us like longtime customers and went far above and beyond what anyone would expect from an auto parts store. As a business owner with employees of my own, I know great customer service when I see it. These are exactly the kind of employees every company hopes to have representing their business. Their knowledge, professionalism, willingness to help, and genuine care were outstanding. A huge high five to Brett and Simon! They turned what could have been a miserable evening into an incredible customer service experience. NAPA is fortunate to have them on the team. Thank you both--you've earned customers for life! I'd gotten an extremely high quote from another Ashland mechanic and was considering doing the work myself. Valley View Auto Repair quoted a very fair - and much lower than the other outfit - price and were able to do the work the next day. When I picked up the car, the bill was less than they had quoted me, as the scope of needed work was less. And the car is perfect again! I really believe these are some honest mechanics that want to do right by their customers. I will be back next time something goes wrong with one of my cars.

They have now charged $4000+ for various things, and HAVE STILL NOT FIXED WHAT I ASKED THEM TO FIX. They either argue, and pretend they know better, or ignore me completely. If they know better, then why is the issue still not fixed? I have ran the problem through every AI and got the same answer, I've talked to 17 mechanics, all agreed that the issue was what I told them. But these scammers, refuse to do their job. On top of that, I dropped it off with a full tank of gas, took them over a month to get it back to me, and the gas tank was empty? There's no explanation for a full tank of gas to be gone, with them just doing test drives or starting it to idle, they clearly did something else that used a full tank of gas, in a car that's extremely fuel efficient. I'm reporting them to the ASE, and BBB avoid them at all costs

Three strikes and you're out! This is some pretty serious incompetence. I brought my Honda CRV in…read morefor a simple oil change, and they somehow managed to run the car battery down to zero (turned on the electrical system and forgot to turn it off?), then failed to reset the onboard computer so my radio and everything else stopped working, and then during the tire rotation they didn't check the label inside the driver side door, and inflated the tires to the wrong pressure, triggering a low tire pressure indicator. I had to go back three times to get these issues fixed. And then, to add insult to injury, they did not have any windshield wiper fluid on the premises, and they did not reduce the bill to account for all of these problems. Do NOT recommend.

We called TC Chevrolet and spoke to Sean (not sure if I'm spelling his name right) in the service department, who told us he didn't have time to get us in for repairs, but that if we brought the car in he'd let us know why the Check Engine was on. Long story short, we got there and he came out, plugged in his diagnostic and told us it was related to actuators for the oil pressure, which was fine (and had just been changed, too.) He cleared the error and told us in his opinion, it was safe to drive the car back. It was running pretty well, but that annoying light had me worried.... until he explained everything to us. We got home safely. The light came on again on the way home, but the car ran fine. And then the light went out, and has stayed out. Car is Happy. I am Happy. :) I am grateful for his help and assurances that the car was okay to drive. He didn't charge us for his service (which took maybe 2 minutes, but dealerships, we all know, do like to charge for services rendered). It's nice to know there are really nice people out there who go out of their way to help others. Stellar, is how I would describe my experience with TC Chevrolet.
