I had a transfer case rebuilt by these guys and the turnaround time was less than 2 days. Got it installed with no issues and was out wheeling the same day. Lots of new hardware and everything came back so fresh and so clean! I almost rebuilt it myself but for the price I paid. $1143.88 + $48 shipping there it was a deal. The rebuild kit itself is $600 so the extra is worth the headache I avoided. The build is a little cheaper if you dont choose the aftermarket bracket. Thank you for the great work! read more

In short, Wheeler's is one of the best off-road shops I've dealt with in the past few years. I ordered a set of shocks and springs from them. Things didn't go as planned initially because of a warehouse miscommunication, and I was pretty annoyed. In addition a part (springs) I ordered was not in stock (COVID). The part out of stock was set to arrive in October. I initially wanted a partial shipment, but changed my mind a couple of days later and indicated all could be shipped at the same time. I expected everything to arrive around October. Today, I get an email stating everything had shipped, including the springs that were on back order. I emailed Josh at Wheeler's to confirm this was true. He said it was and I'm expecting to get everything today (09/01/2020). Wheeler's turned what could have become a really bad experience into something good, which is something all of their customers expect from them. Thank you, Wheeler's. They sent me the incorrect product and their tech Art did not believe me, which in turn took a long time to get replacement parts directly from the manufacturer instead. I do not recommend Wheeler's Off-Road Inc, their customer service was extremely shoddy, I was getting different info from their tech Arthur Ashley than any other shop. They cost me many days of being truckless, stripped zerks, and trying to identify their error. Upon asking for a partial refund they refused and their customer support supervisor Josh Glidewell said a shop would have never done the install in the first place! Hahaha I could not believe the disrespect. He hid behind a liability clause and took no responsibility for his shop's error. 0/10 stars for these guys. Absolute mishandling by the company. Their response times were extremely lengthy, the process took much longer than a week, and Wheelers staff kept trying to distract from the shackle mishap and place the blame on me. As stated, Josh and Art were silent and did not assist in helping to correct this mistake besides transferring my file to ARB directly and having me deal with techs there. Wheelers Off-road is poorly ran and Art could not assist with the questions I asked. Wheelers is not void of liability because they serve as a middleman between the manufacturer and customer, but Josh seems to think so per his copy/pasted liability clause in the email. Wheeler's Offroad is ran by incompetent thieves. On top of this, the Wheelers website states the OME kit includes everything needed for the install, but it does not come with a rear BPV, a crucial component necessary for the safe operation of any truck. I will be making sure this experience is documented via the BBB, Yelp, and other forums. read more

One of the best off-road shops around! Before finally making the decision to go with Wheeler's for my off-road needs, I did months of researching. I encountered a lot of online shops that either had half of what I needed or were priced way higher than my budget. Wheeler's came into play shortly after I joined a forum. They had a solid reputation within the off-road community and came highly recommended. I purchased a complete suspension system for my 3rd gen 4Runner through wheeler's and it could not have gone any better. During my initial contact, I spoke with Steven. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and even made sure I knew of all the other little items to get with my suspension to make sure it was done correctly. Customer service is an A++. Great customer service, always replied in a prompt manner and that is very hard to find these days in any business. They sent me my new struts already set to the requested setting at I believe no extra charge, its been a few years since I ordered them. Ordered some parts for my Tacoma (Custom Icon Lift Kit), order was shipped same day, and in Portland, OR within a blink of an eye. Awesome customer service when I called/emailed. Nice touch for a first time Customer was the unexpected baggie with candies, and a handful of stickers (where other friends that got a similar kit from other vendors, got just a small crumbled one). Pathetic! After buying a complete shock and spring package for my Tacoma, one shock and one leaf spring broke. I received $70.00 for my refund on the "lifetime" warranty. Even though my replacement shock receipt says$105.00 paid to replace it. No calls/contact from these people. When I spoke to Michelle Wheeler, the owner, she makes excuses, talks in circles and tells me she'll have to ask the shop manager what they might be able to do for me. DO NOT BUU FROM THESE CROOKS!!! They truck has never even been offtoad. I spent over $1500.00 and they f@cked me over a lifetime shock warranty. read more
