Therefore, we ended up breaking our lease and moving to Boardwalk at Millenia! I'll start by mentioning Kelsey, the Assistant Manager. She was absolutely incredible! She made me feel super comfortable from the moment we walked in (prior to the pandemic). I feel like I asked so many questions yet she remained patient and explained everything with such calmness and expertise. I had visited a dozen of offices for two weeks and majority of the times we came across property managers/leasing assistants that were so arrogant. So thank you Kelsey for being super sweet and giving us such incredible customer service. The property includes many amenities and its walking distance from shopping centers, restaurants, grocery stores, parks, and so much more! Sadly, we were only there for a few months because my husband got sent to a different state for work (for 10 months). And because I didn't want to be alone, I came to live in NC with my family. HOWEVER, I just signed my new lease and we are moving back to Millenia in September! I am beyond excited and I can't wait to be living at such a wonderful place, with my little family again. This time around, I've been helped by Brittany and although I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her in person, she's been great over the phone. She projected such an attentive tone while I was asking questions on different units. She quickly helped me begin the process. I can't stress the importance of customer service; Kelsey and Brittany are both incredible! Not going to lie, Boardwalk is a bit on the pricey side but in my opinion, you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a luxurious place to live that has a bunch of different places to walk to (or drive to, if you're lazy like me) then go check out Boardwalk at Millenia, you won't regret it!

On one occasion, someone was urinating and defecating in a bucket on the third floor and spilled it in the hallway. When I reported this, management refused to check and told me to call the police myself. Situations like this are common, and management repeatedly claims the property is "open to the public," so their security team can't intervene. That's unacceptable for a residential building where tenants should feel safe. As a service member, I was especially concerned about leaving my wife here alone during deployment. Management offered no support and simply said I was out of luck. They advertise themselves as "military friendly," but allowing lease termination with deployment orders isn't a benefit -- it's required by law. I did go on deployment and received my letter but dealing with them while preparing for deployment was a stressor itself due to their management If you're looking for poor management, inconsistent communication, people screaming at night, little to no security, homeless people and ongoing safety concerns, this is the place. Otherwise, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I was initially asked to provide additional command verification beyond my husband's official PCS orders, a substantial lease break fee was added to my account while the matter was still under review, and I spent several days trying to resolve concerns about autopay and my account balance during an already stressful PCS. I hope this experience leads to clearer internal procedures for future military families. No servicemember or spouse should have to worry about an erroneous lease break fee or uncertainty over whether their SCRA documentation will be accepted while preparing for a military move. I'm updating my review because I believe in giving credit when a business ultimately makes things right. However, I also believe prospective residents, especially military families, deserve to understand what my experience was from start to finish. I am leaving my original review below because the process itself was unnecessarily stressful. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future military families exercising their rights under the SCRA. Original Review: As a military family, I wanted to share my experience so others know what to expect. We submitted our written notice to vacate along with official PCS orders to terminate our lease under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA). Despite already providing official military orders, we were initially asked to provide a command email for additional verification. After I explained that the SCRA requires written notice and military orders or, alternatively, a commanding officer's letter. I was told the matter would be escalated to management. While management was reviewing the issue, a lease cancellation fee of over $4,300 was posted to our resident account, creating concern because our autopay is configured to pay the full account balance automatically. Although the office later advised that the fee was under review, it was never clearly explained how the account would be handled while that review was pending. I was also told that management would contact me by 5:30 p.m. When no one called, I contacted the after-hours line to ask for a status update and to understand why I hadn't received the promised callback. During that conversation, the representative disconnected the call. When I called back, the second call was also disconnected before my question could be addressed. My hope is that management resolves this appropriately. However, I encourage other military families to familiarize themselves with their rights under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, maintain copies of all correspondence, and document every interaction throughout the lease termination process.

The condos are very clean, no bug problems or noisy neighbors. This complex was very clean and in tip top shape. The condos are very spacious and also include a washer / dryer which is a major plus! If you're looking for a peaceful environment with no issues or drama, this is the place for you! Everyone I came across was so friendly. My children and I felt safe. The apartment has nice amenities but it's unfortunate that the community doesn't seem to take care of the surrounding area. If you have a dog, you'll more than likely have to dodge droplets left behind by ignorant pet owners who can't seem to ever pick up after themselves despite the dog stations posted all around the complex. Parking is tough if you don't have a paid parking spot. Everything feels about 30 minutes away so just know you'll be spending quite a bit on tolls and gasoline. The gym is clean but lacks hygiene wipes 70% of the time.. during your tour they mention how you can use the tvs in the areas at any point but nobody ever seems to know how to get them to work.. it not that easy and can be very frustrating. The yoga room tv is always down for some odd reason? And the gym doesn't have music playing anymore but when I moved in they always had good music playing. The staff is good but other than that I don't know if I'll want to renew my lease. Paying premium pricing but unfortunately the community doesn't seem to care about the area and that's a big red flag to me.

Inner streets or inner middle units are best. Neighbors in my unit. Some are amazing. And some smoke weed, cigarettes, and vape all the time and don't care about your health. Pets: they are allowed here. Down sides is barking and fleas. Recommend getting a flea trap for the fleas, even if you don't have pets. Moving in OR Out? TAKE PICTURES, PICTURES, PICTURES! My carpet was cleaned and not changed. Over a few months the carpet changed colors to a very light brown and orange/pink spots, we told the managers and since it wasn't there when we moved in, we are being told we might have to pay for it. Some of the spots are under furniture that's never moved since we moved in and never spilled Or spray anything on the carpet. Parking: Two (one garage and one open). Some people are using the garage for a gym and others things. At night it's hard to park on inside. Street parking fills up afternoon and night. Late night you might have to parked by the Heritage Park. Units: Central AC, some have high ceilings, don't hear your neighbor so much. However parking is terrible…read more Super crammed spots, and guest parking is in only 1 area of the complex (so put on your walking shoes on) its pretty far. For visiting, they only let you have 2 days max for a vehicle and then you can't use a visitor spot. (you have to put in all information too even a VIN number to register a visitor). They tow pretty quickly and you cannot park by backing in at all. The maintenance takes a week + to fix anything and usually its quick fixes that you need fixed again. Overall the neighborhood is quiet, but if you don't live on the 1st flight, there is no elevator so its a hike. Walking though its not really handicap accessible, no straight path. They advertise a room with pool, but its usually locked when the office is closed, no entry so you can't really use it.

And people walking their dogs right in front looking inside our unit not to mention someone jumping inside our patio we did call security and no one came ! Or followed through after. We honestly had SOO MUCH ANXIETY the year in living here!! There was a water leak from the walls in the master bedroom coming from outside that was just PAINTED over , from what I was told from the person in charge it had happened before ,I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure when there is a water leak your supposed to get rid of the water damage and cut off the piece that's damaged to prevent MOLD ?? I asked her about and she REASSURED me it was fine and they were gunna fix it to not worry , all they did was paint over it ! And I'm sure that's how they solve majority of the issues here , living here we'd have constant headaches and congestion all year long !
