Saw there was a LADOT DASH bus waiting at the train station, which runs every 15 minutes around Reseda. No WiFi access is available on any Metrolink trains while the Amtrak has it for Business Class seats. Beginning July 1, 2025, you can buy a day pass ticket for unlimited travel across all Metrolink lines at $15 weekdays, $10 weekends! Note: Be careful, please check the Metrolink schedule to see whether the trip is worth your time for waiting at the Union Station for nearly two hours on the way back to the Northridge Station. For example , when I arrived at the Union Station at 2:45 PM, I found the next available train to the Northridge is at 4:30 PM. That's a challenge from LA Metro and Metrolink to attract more riders to take a public transit, instead of driving.

Parthenia Blvd has NO BIKE LANES. Tampa Blvd past Nordoff has NO BIKE LANES. Reseda Blvd has a guarded bike lane. Parthenia Blvd is aligned with a row of industrial buildings, a lumber yard and mechanic shops. The sidewalks are narrow and every driveway is a an alarming blind spot blocked by buildings and entry gates. There is no safe way to get to the Northridge Metrolink by bicycle. You're either competing with traffic along Parthenia, where cars are speeding down the stretch or risking getting hit by a vehicle pulling out from a drive way that has a building blocking the view until they reach the sidewalk. Often there is a truck blocking the right of way along the sidewalk. Several curbs have no ramps as ADA compliant laws have established since 1990, requiring accessible public sidewalks. So if you're okay bicycle or wheelchair, you are forced into traffic to get across the street. It's seriously dangerous and the city needs to build a bridge directly above the train station, providing an access point that isn't a half a mile away.
