Getting inside the structure was incredibly easy. There were a couple options on where to park with different prices. We chose to park in the uncovered outdoor lot. The shuttle came directly to our car to pick us up and take our luggage to the Burbank airport. Everything was very easy to navigate. The shuttle ride took less than five minutes to get to the terminal. Checking out was also easy upon our return. Prices are reasonable. They're a little more than the Burbank airport lots but that's to be expected with a private company. We were at least thankful that there was plenty of parking here as an alternative to the Burbank airport parking lots.

My go to place here are mainly Habit Burger, Wingstop, Chase bank, California Fish Grill and TMobile store. But I visited Ross, Dunkin Donuts, Vitamin Shoppe, Jersey Mike's, Mencies, Sliverlake Ramen, Ono Hawaiian, the UPS store and Ulta Beauty. The only place I haven't visited yet is the 24 Hour fitness, the Dentistry, Mattress Firm, AT&T and Bank of America. There plenty of parking here as well and there even more parking toward the back of the center. I usually park in the back because it's less traffic to enter or leave. They also have security guard walking around in the plaza for any problems.

With my FIL having a plane, we have now been to several small airports for one reason or the other…read more This time, it was to pick up and drop off the in-laws while we were spending some time together to visit with some of Kevin's other family. We timed our departure via car from our house with their departure from the Aurora, Oregon airport and made it within 20 minutes of each other (they beat us). We ended up picking them up at the flight school instead of closer to the plane because unlike some other airports no one directed them where to go. The folks at the flight school were very nice and let them stay in the airconditioned waiting area until we got there and then we drove them around to the actual small airport check-in area (which was closer to where the plane was parked and in the 100 degree heat would have been easier/better for my MIL to walk and wait in). Being the protective person I am, this irritated me a bit, but they are used to the lack of communication at these little airports. This airport is in a downtrodden area and is not as maintained as some of the municipal airports we have visited. Bathrooms are outside, but the plane was fine and the price of parking ($5 per day) for the plane couldn't be beat. Since I am no pilot, all I can go by is my FIL's experience and he has had a lot worse. I was glad Kevin was there so he could help pull the plane over to the gas pump and look forward to visiting another small airport again sometime in the future.

We were sure the phone is a goner and were devastated. Nevertheless, we informed Airport operations Raymond and Lost & Found Marji Meeks. They promptly opened a case. It was the busy July 4th week. They scheduled the elevator maintenance on any early morning(to not disturb passengers) and retrieved my phone. Luckily, the phone was not damaged. Since I am not local they promptly FedExed it to my Nor Cal address. Very happy with the service. Thanks to the airport maintenance crew and Lost & Found for retrieving and mailing my phone.

They moved guests in and out of their cars efficiently, always making sure everyone had a large umbrella so no one got soaked. When it was time to pick up my car, I handed over my ticket and as I was waiting (which was not long at all) EVERY staff member who passed by me checked in to make sure I was already being helped. I work at events for a living and have dealt with many valet companies over the years--this team truly stood out. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made a huge difference, and I'm genuinely grateful for their service. I'm glad there is a library this far North to service this bit of LA City. There is so much glass for walls that it just fills the whole building with so much light. It's peaceful and inviting. You just want to sit down and rest, take it all in. Read a book. The lot is very very small. I came in when there was an event (magic show for kids) that not only filled the lot, but also made the library a bit louder than I would have liked it to be. If you're looking for a peaceful library experience, you might just want to check their calendar to make sure there's nothing planned for the time you're there. I came here to get the stamp for this branch as part of the 100th anniversary event & this was the first (& hopefully only) branch where the librarian wasn't quite sure what I was talking about. She thought that they weren't doing it anymore & the stamp had been stored away (after a quick call she confirmed that they were still doing it - which I knew - & that the stamp was just at another desk). I know this is a special event so I won't really fault the branch, but I was just surprised to come to a branch that wasn't all up to date on this as I can only imagine a lot of people were coming in every day to get this item. In all, if this is your local branch, you've got a great one to visit. If I ever happen to be in the area, I would absolutely come back and just enjoy the space.
