I called this shop and made an appointment 2 weeks in advance. Told them what parts to order for my water pump impeller shaft seal job, and told them what else I wanted done, oil change, brake fluid flush, mount new tires. No problem they said, same day job. I brought it in, and I get a call an hour or 2 later saying that "someone dropped the ball" and the parts didn't get ordered. Fine. Another week. I asked for an estimate. ~$600 I'm told. I call them a week later, and they sound annoyed to hear from me. "We'll call you back". Get a call back saying now someone ordered the wrong gasket. Great, another few days. Finally get the bike back almost 2 weeks later with a $940 tab. I can only guess that they rounded up the shop hours for the obviously multiple times they got into the bike. I take it home and let it sit overnight, there's a puddle of oil under the bike. Back the almost hour drive up there. Turns out they loosened a banjo bolt and didn't replace the crush washers before tightening. Nice. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Also, no masks in sight. read more

Nice shop with nice bikes. Went in for service and was quoted a price. When I went to pay, the cost was substantially more than I was quoted. Basically they did work I did not ask for without calling me and that I would have declined. We came to an agreement where I paid them something for this additional work, but not all of it. It just left a bad taste in mouth and I was really hoping that this would be my go to shop. read more

I've purchased two motorcycles from Pacific NW Motorcycles. The first was a BMW G650GS in 2013, and a few weeks ago I bought a new BMW F750GS. Steve the sales manager is very easy to work with and a nice guy. It just took a few minutes to do some paperwork, and I was riding away on my new bike. But where this company really shines is the post-sale service. Need to swing in to get some air in your tires? No problem. You want them to come to your house and pick up your bike to take it in for an annual service? Done. Worried about the battery dying during the freezing cold snap we are having? Steve was willing to loan me a trickle charger to make sure the battery on my brand new motorcycle wouldn't die. (I ended up buying the easy to use, idiot-proof BMW charger.) If I could give them a half or less of a star I would. But in order to write a review I have to give them something. On June 4th 2016 I drove from Oregon City, Oregon up to this joke of place to buy a 2015 Dark Force Ural. First off it took two days just for the purchase order to be emailed to me. Not snail mailed......EMAILED. It was like they were too busy to be bothered to sell the bike. I would have purchased the bike else where but it was the last DF available. We drive over 8 hours to get there. They put it on the trailer we tied it down. Initially I was very pleased with the experience. But two hours from the dealership we stop for dinner and I notice..of all things.. a f'ing DENT in the gas tank! A DENT! I call the dealership ASAP and leave a message... I also send a text with a picture of the dent with the bike still on the trailer. When we get it back to Oregon I send an email with a picture of gas tank and how the dent can be seen at one angle and then not seen at another, I also sent a picture of the odometer so they could see we never rode the bike. It was the same reading as it was at their dealership. I get an email from Stephen claiming the dent was NOT there prior to us picking the bike up. That he had the bike washed and he personally inspected the bike along with two other people on staff that day...(this is important). He said he spoke with the other two people and neither of them saw a dent in the tank (I still have the emails). He said the dent HAD to happen in transit and was caused by road debris....i.e. we were responsible. But he offered to order a new tank and would sell it to me at his cost $300. Pretty magnanimous of him. I told him I was not paying for a new tank on a brand new bike. The dent was not caused by road debris because there was no damage to the paint. And no one on staff is going to admit to knowing there was a dent in the gas tank and not mentioning it to the buyer...so asking his staff was pointless. I suggested in exchange, perhaps an accessory like the spare tire, luggage rack and brackets. Now here he could have said OK at my cost but there will be a difference of _____ to be paid by you. I could have said yes or no. Instead he sent me a condescending email breaking down the cost of the accessory, including shipping (which was more than the accessories) and ending with "...If that does not make sense to you, then I would split the dealer cost of the new tank ($300) with you." Again, I am not spending a dime for a new tank for a brand new bike. But I will tell you what makes sense to me is that the gas tank was dented before I purchased the bike. What makes sense to me is Stephen and his staff knew about the dent..and he should have made it right. I contacted the Ural distributor and let them know I was sold a brand new Ural by, who is in my opinion, an assphat out of Ferndale, Washington that had a dented gas tank..and sent them pictures of it. What makes sense to me is Ural recognizing the dent was done AT THE FACTORY so IT'S A FACTORY DEFECT AND THERE BY UNDER WARRANTY. That upon inspection there was an AIR BUBBLE IN THE PAINT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DENT. Not a chip or any removal of paint which being hit by road debris would have caused. What makes sense to me is Ural ordering a new tank and replacing it under warranty...(i.e. no charge to ME Stephen). Take note Stephen, this is how you treat a customer. Not become dismissive, argumentative and condescending once the sale is final. Ural would do well to not have you representing them and selling their bikes. So, I go back to Stephen saying he inspected the bike personally and his two employees that he spoke with that also said there was NO dent...remember..one of them even washed the bike. Hey jerks..the bike was delivered to your dealership WITH A DENTED GAS TANK! Thank you to Ural for standing behind it's motorcycles.. as for Pacific NW Motorcycles (Stephen)... I hope where ever you do your personal business you are treated the exact same why you treat other people. Like crap. read more

On a cross country ride from Arizona I dropped in unannounced right after Christmas needing some plastic brackets replaced, bmw 18k service and some new tires. They were able to get the parts overnighted despite the holidays and I was back on the road in no time. I also came in to buy but only got a disingenuous "hey" from the salesman who wouldn't leave his desk to help me after ten minutes and I was the only one in the place. Ok I can understand not getting right on my bike that I bought from them. However two breakdowns both lasting longer than 2 months to get fixed seems long Second visit I called they said it is fixed. I bring my butt up to pick it up no small feat as they are over an hour away. On pickup they give me a bill however it was still under warranty. Wait I bought it from you don't you know the warranty!!!!! Second you never called to authorize the repair cost. The oil and maintenance sure I agreed to that the least I could do since you are doing the warranty work I don't want you to loose money. I pick it up and the seat cover is faded from the sun. More scratches are on the bike. I ask the owner. Well that happens is his response. YEAH if you store it outside for two months. Never offered to fix. Fine mental note don't do business here He stated one other thing on pick up the right side head had a loose valve lock nut. We tightened that up for you! Thanks That was the side you guys worked on last visit The kick today I went to double check their work today. Took my 1200 GSA in for a service, nothing special just a regular oil change and valve check. Got a call that the bike was ready and on arrival I was kinda taken back by the price on the invoice but paid without protest just a comment that it seemed a bit high. When I got home I pulled out the last several invoices for the same service from a certain dealership in Seattle and found that I was correct and they had charged SIGNIFICANTLY more for the same service at the other dealer. When I called them on it they responded "well you were undercharged at the other dealer...." WTF? undercharged on multiple visits to a dealership in the most expensive city in the state? Coming off Bellingham ferry - big tour on my Aprilia Tuono, Tucson to Alaska and back. Needed oil/filter, booked appointment well in advance, shop was very accommodating. Found out last minute also needed new tires, they made sure they had the right brand and size. Mechanic Mark did an excellent job, bike ran beautifully on way home. Owner Steve was gracious, friendly, knowledgeable. Got me out in short order, fair prices for part & labor, overall a great experience. read more

I brought my Aprilia in for a valve adjustment i was assured by the service manager that their mechanics were Aprilia experts picked up my bike was charged $1200.00 that was $500.00 over their estimate on start up the bike ran rough on the ride home $300.00 air dam plastic starts to fly off most fasteners were loose called and informed them of my disappointment sent them e mails and a letter never got a response took the bike to a real repair facility. THE DIAGNOSIS so one cam gear was set 1 tooth off and was timed incorrectly nothing torqued to spec they damaged the ignition interuppter broke the tabs to fasten the plastic body panels and rerouted hoses in the wrong position and pinched off the fuel vent hose etc. That diagnosis and repair including valve adjustment and 12k servis cost just shy of $600.00 what it is supposed to cost. This is the worst business I have ever dealt with needless to say their lack of response and the amount they overcharged me has forced me to bring a lawsuit against this corrupt outfit..I wouldn't buy a thing from them or use their service department again. read more

I contacted them and asked what their price was on a 2016 BMW. They quoted me a price and said they did not charge freight and set-up fees. WOW. I was sold. It was all false and misleading. When the bikes came in they said, "Oh, yeah, well we meant not freight and set-up over what is normally charged and it's all BMW's fault. Their out-the-door price was around $1,400.00 more than quoted on the e-mails. They're either mentally challenged or tired to act like the old "snake oil" salesmen. Watch out if you go there. Pretty upset with the service I received, went to look at a used bike at 4:45pm when there hours clearly say 6pm online and was told they are closing at 5:00. Pretty irritating when you go out of your way to drive there after a long work day and get that at the door. Anyway I briefly talked to the salesman who said there's a down payment given on the bike if it falls through he will be sure to call me right away and let me know if its sold or still available and preceded to shoo me out the door... Which is fine and great I respect that he isn't selling the bike out from under someone but its now 5:00 the next day and I haven't heard a peep out of him. Sales staff have one job and that's to satisfy customer needs. Its pretty ridiculous that I cant even receive a phone call regarding a potential multiple thousand dollar motorcycle purchase. I like the facility's layout and love the bikes but I don't think my next motorcycle purchase will be through them with service like that! Guess someone else can take my money! read more
