I tried not to go to O'Reilly's Auto Parts for many years because their jingle poisoned my brain…read more How, you ask? Any time I see any name beginning with O', I hear their jingle. "Georgia Oh-Oh-Oh-O'Keeffe" and "Potatoes Oh-Oh-Oh-O'Brien" are the two examples that come to mind right now, but whenever it happens its always annoying and I hate O'Reilly Auto Parts for it. (The jingle writer, I gotta say, did a fantastic job.) For auto parts, I don't know how much difference there really is between the national chain stores other than customer service. This O'Reilly's has awesome customer service so they win a 5 star rating from me. Once, the employee gave me a free education about some part of my motor when I asked for help reading the code for my car's Check Engine light. Later on, I needed to buy some windshield wipers and I came back to this shop and the employees were super friendly. Despite the corporate jingle, I'm a loyal fan of this O'Reillys now because they hire good people.

But the staff were super helpful and let me use some more specialized tools to get the job done. I highly recommend this local part store.

I had a car that was on a lease when I moved from San Diego to Alaska, ya that's another story. I was in a bind because my lease was up and I wanted to return my car to the dealer. I had to send it via the ferry system as I now live on an island. I decided to send my car to Bellingham, made the most sense. However the dealer said he would not pick up my car from the ferry, said he didn't have the staff. I attempted to contact the transport service used by dealers to get cars to their dealership, but they were not at all helpful, wouldn't return phone calls etc. I was looking at having to take 4-5 days off of work to accompany my car on the ferry just to drive it a few miles to the dealer and fly home, or fly in meet the car drive it there and fly back, less days off of work but much more expensive. I was really stuck. Then I thought maybe a Tow-truck company would be willing to entertain the idea, so I hit my Yelp. I looked through the tow companies but wasn't getting a good vibe on any of them. I saw JC-Towing with one positive review. We all know what that usually means. Someone just opened up a new place and has a buddy with Yelp write a review, something told me this was not the case here, so I called, and Thank God I did. I spoke to JC and felt comfortable. By the time our conversation was over I was confident this was the right choice. We coordinated everything over the phone and my car was delivered, without any problem, on time, as promised. I am so Thankful that I found JC`s! This man is extremely reliable, very honest and trustworthy. I cannot thank him enough for relieving the stress of trying to make this happen, and doing it with a can do/no problem attitude. ***I would highly recommend his services to anyone and everyone I know, to include all my fellow Yelpers****
