I'd been looking for a new dentist because mine had left the practice I usually go to. It just wasn't the same when he left. Here's my experience, first off, the office is beautiful and has such a nice, welcoming ambiance. The front desk staff was friendly, nice, and accommodating! The wait time was also minimal, which I really appreciated. Dr. Jaysen Ymas was exceptionally thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. What I really appreciated was how he took the time to explain everything he was doing. He even showed me all my X-rays and photos of my teeth and walked me through everything so I could understand what was going on. He also explained the next steps for replacing some of my old fillings and why they needed to be replaced. I never felt rushed, and I really appreciated how informative and transparent he was throughout the entire visit. Overall, such a great experience and I would definitely recommend Dr. Ymas and his team!

He was able to get me in on extremely short notice, which alone was impressive. What really stood out was the level of professionalism, care, and attention to detail throughout the entire process. Dr. Acosta performed my wisdom tooth extraction and is also helping me with cosmetic dental work. From the initial consultation to the treatment itself, he took the time to explain everything clearly, answer my questions, and make sure I was comfortable every step of the way. The procedure was far smoother than I expected, and the recovery process has been excellent. What separates Dr. Acosta from many healthcare professionals is that he genuinely cares about his patients. You never feel rushed, pressured, or treated like just another appointment on the schedule. His staff is welcoming, the office is professional, and the quality of care is exceptional. If you're looking for a dentist in Pacifica, San Francisco, or the surrounding Bay Area, I would highly recommend Dr. Acosta and Pacific Coast Dental for wisdom tooth extractions, cosmetic dentistry, and general dental care. Finding a dentist you can trust is difficult, and I can confidently say that Dr. Acosta has earned my trust and future business. Five stars without hesitation.

Front desk was friendly, the dental office/equipment looked modern, and the dentists were efficient. Each procedure was explained and front desk helped with scheduling and often notifying for upcoming appointments. So the reason why I stopped going... I had a filling redone due to it coming off. However, I had pain around the same tooth for months. I couldn't eat on that side at all. I went back in for checkups to see if they can figure out what's going on. The head dentist told me to consider getting a crown since there seems to be a cracking on the tooth. They offered to cover the costs however I thought it was a bit extreme to get a crown from a routine filling. Over the next couple months, I would go back multiple times since the pain didn't go away. This included shaving part of the filling, redoing the filling, and trying to figure out my bite. And the final time I went there for a checkup, I was just told it could just be a neurological thing and almost made it sound like it was my fault and they can't do anything about it. The only reason why I kept going back was to give them the opportunity to fix what they had messed up. I ended up looking for another dentist and I told them my issue. They were able to figure what was wrong, and redid my filling. Now I have no pain.
