I haven't been able to visit pg as often as i'd like anymore but i will definately donate again... service was always kindness all volunteers worked here amazing humans giving of their time... so i say this thank you for all the years of service and last i was in the shop, my daughters little ballerina stand that was at the door opening still sits in the store... she is now IN college getting her PHD i miss my thrifting with her but i'll definately be in again one day... regards, Corina L.

I truly do not like doing bad reviews, but this needs to be said…read more Witnessed the woman that seemed to own the place ( dirty blonde/grey hair older) talked down to other customers and then she was very rude to my daughter husband and I. One customer wanted to buy earrings and the woman wanted to tell her a story, but the customer didn't seem to understand what she was saying. So the woman said are you even listening , then she snaps and says do you not understand English ?! . The customer said can I please buy ? So the conversation continued a little , the woman just kept talking down and said "oh, never mind you don't understand anything I'm saying. " But in such a rude tone. We were next to buy, attempted to use a card , she barked no card, and rolled her eyes. Then we all said ohh man ok, and began to look to see if we had cash, she interrupted when we just said "awhhh ok" and said "well the signs on the door, didn't you read ? It says no card under $20" . We were stunned at her tone, and she then repeated it hellla rude. [the door was propped open and the store is very packed because it's the size of a walk in closet . OFC we didn't read the little hand written sign on the propped open door ] It was incredibly ugly toned and disrespectful. We just closed our wallets and said never mind & we left. I hate bringing race up, but she definitely wasn't fond of the foreign accents . Very weird woman.

FOrgive me for taking 2 prizes but I couldnt decide what to have.. I wanted the gummy glitter paste as I needed something to keep myself calm.. and a slapping bracelet.. What sold me the most was the chalks. There was this fun lady who was waving a wand of bubbles and ask perrmission to draw, and the moment she said yes..I immediatly bend down on my knees and draw the first thing on my mind.. MERMAID ARIEL. THen when that was done.. I had more spare time so I drew GENIE JASMINE once i finished i manage to get up and began to browse the furniture.. The staff already placed their things inside but let me allowed to draw some more. They were very kindful and enjoyed the image i did. They do have some nice things like tvs and tables and such but mom loves to shop there taking her sweet time as we travel very very far just to be here ( and a few stores we love to go to). Thank you so much for letting me draw the side walk. I love disney but these two gave me happyness and joy. This made my day as I couldn't go to Comic con this year and felt heartbroken v_v...but that sidewalk drawing made my day for the better! They have a tag system where some things are 20% off all the way down to $1.50 and I managed to score quite a few few things at the dollar 50 price including some new tags Eileen Fisher pieces! This is a great cause as well as a cute store with really nice people. The Larger store which is farther down towards Pacific Grove has lots of housewares as well.
