Ya'll, listen, Gerard's Landscaping is GREAT! I wanted a fence built, a flagstone path laid, and a…read moreretaining wall built. I talked to multiple contractors - some who just didn't call back, a few who said they couldn't (wouldn't) build the fence I wanted, and frankly, a few that I just didn't like. Gerardo showed up, chatted with me about what I wanted, took measurements, and gave me a bid on the spot. I was moving into a house I was rehabbing and needed a portion of this fence done right away because I have a dog and he hustled to not only build the new portion I needed, but went out of his way to do some repairs on the existing fence to keep my dog safe and secure. He and the people working for him showed a lot of attention to detail, checked in with me often about the project to make sure it was coming along and looking as I expected, and every day at the end of the day the work site was clean and organized. I'm planning some plant installations and a new deck and Gerard's Landscaping is going to be my first call!

Giving them 1 star for the poor communication. Sent them communication via yelp. I wanted my…read morebackyard to be leveled and some walking steps to be added. They asked me technical questions on the grade for my backyard and the kind of material i need for the steps, which i had no clue about. So I told them that i would need guidance. They sent me a very lengthy message. Whoever was responding, was in the field and took time out to respond and didnt like that I had not done my due diligence. They told me that the market has changed and they need their customers to do some research. Then they gave me an arbutrary deadline to join a COMPLIMENTARY 10min call. The number of red flags in 1 message exchange. First of all, if you are in the field don't respond to the message or hire someone who can do it without getting upset that their customer do not know what they need.

I would highly caution and advise anyone not to patronize this store based on my experience…read more First, I am a professional artist and designer and have the greatest respect for others work and craft. I brought my family into Edmonds for a fun day of walking, lunch and exploring. When you see the store of course there are beautiful displays of garden art and mainly glass in the store front. There are numerous signs requesting no photos. There are NO SIGNS mentioning to ask for help in picking up or NOT TO TOUCH. My father was interested in a glass bee for my mother and it fell off the brass rod and the wings broke. I assume she was the owner and blocked the door and was not friendly nor understanding and insisted we pay for the bee. I tried to reason with her that the other bees in the display were securely attached and what happened was an accident and that we were very sorry. This piece was $140 and she was not letting them leave without paying. I asked my parents to leave with my young child as she didn't need to listen to this greedy awful woman berate my father for having an honest accident with glass that wasn't securely displayed. I explained to her numerous times there are NO SIGNS anywhere asking for people not to touch the pieces or to ask for assistance. I paid her $80 for the broken bee because I can have the glass fused and repaired. Her attitude, service and disrespect were appalling and disgusting! Shame on you!!

I first used this company for irrigation purposes in 2024, and Jeanet's team provided reliable…read morecommunication and service, so I continued to use them for my irrigation services in 2025 and into 2026. They gave me a bid in March 2026 for some sprinkler relocations and for installation of a drip system. The cost was $1650 which I promptly paid. But the drip system never worked, and after asking many times to have it fixed, I was ghosted by Jeanet Ramirez and never received another text. Finally Ricardo responded, suggesting my water pressure might be too high, and that he thought installing a filter might fix the problem. He said he would do that, Then he didn't show up, and ultimately ghosted me too. So I figured my only recourse would be small claims court, and once I suggested that, he then responded and told me my location was too far away for him to service (never mind all the services already provided). His exact words: "we're very busy, and since we don't get paid for this (a new service), and there's no guarantee, it's an extra job for us." So let me get this straight: after almost two years of doing work for me (satisfactorily I might add), all of a sudden there is no guarantee of work for which I promptly paid, there is a failure to communicate, and I have a broken drip irrigation system. I honestly have no idea how this relationship went off the rails, and I can not recommend them. It's not like I forced them to work for me; they volunteered, gave me a bid which I accepted and paid for. Ricardo now thinks I'm a problem because I live too far away; that is not a statement of someone who values accountability. Caveat emptor.
