They explained everything to me from beginning to end and really listened when I explained how much anxiety I have surrounding dental work. It was determined that I needed a crown, so I booked the soonest appointment available. Dr. Sharon was incredibly patient with me throughout the entire procedure. AMAZING EXPERIENCE. 5/5 Stars!…read more I found Dr Jhang help on Yelp and decided to give him a call to get a second opinion since the other dentist I saw didn't really want to work on my compromised root canal & just referred me out to an endodontist. Dr Jhang diagnosed me right away and asked me if I had any pain & etc. He then gave me a treatment plan right away and gave me the quotes for those options on the spot. Which I appreciated. After I reviewed my options, I got back to him and Erica (the front desk personnel) got me in right away. I called Monday and she was able to get me in Thursday!! Erica is very pleasant and explains everything thoroughly. She also answered all the dumb questions I had!! Which is a plus. Now to the actual work. Dr Jhang cleaned my root canal, put a temporary on and today put on the permanent crown. He did amazing work and has the steadiest hands I've ever experienced. No shaking what so ever. Hes also very pleasant and nice. I really enjoyed my experience there. Anna, the dental assistant was the highlight for me tho. She took care of me and always made sure I understood what was happening. She made me feel straight at home and helped me to calm my nerves!!! Overall, Dr Jhang and his staff are amazing!! They were late for starters, 9 am appointment and we weren't in the door until 9:10. We weren't the only patients waiting. Thus none of the stations were ready. If they have creature comforts for kids they weren't out and the staff wasn't bringing them out, to the point of they couldn't find the remote for the overhead tvs that help keep the kids distracted. They refused to find the remote so no distraction for my kid. When Alex showed up he had no patience and tried to force his way into her mouth. I asked him to stop so I can console and get my kid to relax but he ignored me ( I would give benefit of the doubt but his assistant heard me and she was further away. I know because when I said stop she pulled back). I had to physically grab his shoulder. No one like touches so I understood his irritation at that but my concern was with my kid. He states that if she can't handle this then he wouldn't be able to go forward with the procedure. I asked for a little more detail so I could talk my kid through the process and it turns out that he was about to perform a procedure that we hadn't confirm!ed The office had messed up the paperwork and put down the wrong thing for the wrong day and person. At this point my irritation level is high so I questioned the professionalism of the establishment. He wasn't happy that I called out the multiple failings of this office that morning and we were asked to leave. I asked the women on staff if I was wrong for protecting my daughter. Why couldn't they take the time to find the remote to distract a little girl from the sounds of drills and suction which can be scary for a kid. They were already late so what's another couple minutes? Why rush my daughter and then get upset because she needed a little reassurance? It's hard sometimes to not believe that our mistreatment wasn't because of our skin tone. In honor of AAPI month I won't say that I will never go to another Asian dentist or doctor again but I know I did the right thing in protecting my daughter from Alex Jhang!!

Really, when you go to the dentist you have to accept the fact that they are usually in damage control mode because people (me) don't establish better habits when necessary. Thank god for Dr. Graham and his team for taking care of me with 3 wisdom teeth removed, a new crown, and a cleaning schedule that really works for my attempt at change :) Let me explain... Dr. Graham was the first dentist that I completely trusted when it came to the removal of my wisdom teeth. It was getting really bad as I would get these really bad reactions when I didn't brush properly or floss properly. I think my wisdom teeth were the problem. Removed the bad teeth and no more problems! Also, I've had to change my habits under the guidance of his support team. More brushing, better flossing, water pick and just more awareness of what a clean mouth is supposed to feel like. I'm not embellishing here but this place has changed my health and life for the better.
